My frist time to there to close my apt at sunflower hill

My experience here was brief but positive. We enquired about a dog at their shelter and returned our call promptly to set up a meet. The animals we saw along the way as well as the dog we had actually came for all appeared comfortable and clean. All of the staff we encountered were caring and friendly. Their process of alternating most if not all the animals between staying with fosters and at the shelter itself seems to have a good impact on their quality of life. As always, with everyone who works in this field, thank you for all the wonderful work you do.

We adopted our kitten from here, with SIP I expected some delays and hurdles to go through the adoption process, in fact I called and emailed several other organizations that never even bother to return a phone call. Valley reply to my questions right away, they made the process extremely easy and we found out kitten. He is loving his new home and we are loving him... So thankful for this organization.

Wonderful place to adopt a pet!

I got my little furry baby there. I like the employee there. They did sent me home with a lot of helpful information and stuff my little puppy needed. I will say definitely check it out.

Disappointed. Sent our application Friday for 2 available Kittens. Never heard back. Call Saturday afternoon, left messages finally got through, told the Kittens we wanted just left, adopted by someone else. We asked for photos of remaining Kittens...no reply.

The staff was very friendly, helpful amd knowledgeable. The lers were great as well. Loved it

This is a very well maintained humane center. The people really care about their animals and finding great homes for them. I was very impressed with the whole operation.

What a special kitten and fabulous experience adopting with Valley Humane! I applied for Obsidian (now Yosemite) and within a few hours had a phone interview and an appointment to meet him. We brought him home the day after we applied. The adoption program folks really do a great job of getting to know the animals and matching them to their best homes. We are so happy and so is Yosemite!

Place was clean and the staff and foster mom were very friendly and informative before adopting the puppy. Good place if you are looking to adopt a pet. Very reasonable too.

I got a great pup form here. I am considering getting a second dog from them.

This was the fastest, easiest adoption ever. The facility is clean and beautiful and the animals are so well taken care of. I was screened last night and today I have a new family member. She is so calm and mellow, loves to walk but still is a little too nervous to eat. I love this little girl and I'm so happy to have her in my life!

VHS is a terrific, caring organization. It is a great place to go if you are thinking about adopting a a forever pet.

Best place in the area to visit and adopt dogs and cats. Great staff! Friendly and knowledgeable. Great place to have kids' birthday parties!

What a wonderful place To shelter the animals. lovely staff, kind patient, and very informative. I was not prepared when I went to meet my puppy. When I realized he was a match for our family Emily gave me a list of things I needed and I was able to run to the pet store and come back that same day and take my bby home. I'm so happy I adopted my puppy from Valley humane society

Great place to adopt pets. My son did an Eagle project for the facility and we decided to adopt two kittens. The kittens are adorable and adapting well to our family!

I adopted a very healthy puppy here, and he has grown into an incredible dog. The whole family loves him. I recommend this shelter based on my experience. Update: Ive adopted a second puppy from VHS and he is also a very healthy and loving puppy. So I have been rescued by two pups at this location. Thank you so much VHS for my forever friends!

Nice people who care for homeless animals

LOVE my three furbabies adopted from there last year's kitten season! When you adopt they give you a care package with a little food, info on care, microchip info, animals de-sexed before adoption, able interact with the cats/dogs in small rooms, staff is friendly and knowledgable. Would definitely go back if I ever wanted to add to my kitty family. Considered volunteering but their training process is infrequent and always occurs on bad days for my schedule. :\
