Amazing place!! The facility is great, in the heat of the summer to have an air conditioned space for chows is a must. Tamara was beyond helpful. This was the third place I tried as I was having surgery and, I NEVER board my dogs so it was getting stressful. I had to leave them for a day and I immediately knew I’d found the spot just because I was having trouble getting them into the yard (because of my hip) and one of them slipped out of his collar and got away. Tamaras husband jumped in without hesitation and helped me round him up. Most places I know aren’t even comfortable with having them so to see him react immediately without a hint of apprehension was reassuring. As it turned out, a friend came up to stay with me for recovery so they were able to stay home this time. I’ll be having to go in again next year so I’ll definitely be taking them back!!

I took my puppies over there for the first time and they loved it! Tamara was very sweet and caring with them. The place allows them to play, sleep and be around other dogs (socialize) in a safe manner. It's convenient, and it's affordable.

This was my first time using Happy Tails. Lindsay was my live in pet/house sitter. My cat is very shy but took to Lindsay immediately. Lindsay sent me updates and photos while I was gone so I had total peace of mind. I also came home to a very clean house. I will definitely use them again!

Happy Tails Pet Sitting and Tamara gave me peace of mind that my 3-month old puppy would be well taken care. He was fed, played with and loved. Soiled bedding thrown in the washer. I received photos of him playing and an update with each visit. No doubt Happy Tails will be called on in the future.......

We are so happy that we picked Happy Tail Pet Sitting. Tamara and Jerry are really good and reliable on taking care of our Blu. Its so cool that Tamara updated us with pictures of our dog Blu. We can tell that our dog enjoyed his stay with them and he even gave them a thank you kiss???? as we were leaving...

Bodie is so happy to stay with Happy Tails. It is reassuring that our peppy pup makes new friends while he stays in a dog lover's home.

Great people and very responsive. We had to head out of town on short notice, but they were flexible in finding us a good fit for our two pups for pet sitting. One of our labs can be a pain and the Happy Tails Petsitting crew was patient and understanding. Great experience with them!

Reached out to the business and woman we had the incident with - never got a response so I'm posting here so others don't have the same experience.... We have two poodle mutts and were seeking overnight, in-home care for an upcoming trip. Reached out to the owner who connected me with a watcher (D) in my area. After some back and forth, we confirmed a date for a meet and greet to ensure it was a good match before leaving them overnight. Upon entry into the home, I heard two large dogs and one small barking. D took me and my pups (BW and B) straight out into the fenced backyard, where we let them wander around with their leashes still on, just in case. I explained their personalities and quirks, including B's "Napoleon" attitude with new, large dogs. I was nervous about going further because no one had told me there were even dogs at this property. But D assured me that her large dog was a "mentor dog" and that BW/B could do "anything" to her, and she wouldn't respond. I reiterated to D that B wouldn't hurt a fly, but if a big dog got into his space, he may inadvertently start a fight that he couldn't finish. And D reiterated that her dogs would be fine, but let's keep leashes on to be safe. At this point, I should have listened to my gut and left, but D kept reassuring me and reminding me how much experience she has with dogs, so I let the appointment continue. D brought out her big dog (off leash) to meet BW/B. B got a little feisty when she came over to sniff him, but all in all, it went fine. All three followed each other around the yard, peeing on each other's markings. Then D brought out her small dog (also off leash and being held). Once this dog joined the pack, the energy just changed. It wouldn't stop barking, which was agitating the other dogs. The big dog then got in B's face (nothing aggressive just a little too close). B nipped her away. And the big dog attacked B. She had B's head/neck in her mouth and was thrashing him on the ground. D was unable to remove her (and was still holding the little dog) so I separated them. B was bleeding from multiple wounds and both dogs were shaking. I asked D to put her dogs inside and bring us a towel. Once I had B wrapped up, I took him immediately to the hospital where they treated him for open puncture wounds in his neck and top of head, as well as a tear in his ear that required sutures. D tried to stop me by saying it didn't look that bad, but I bolted for the front door and my car. My vet bill was $494.11 and B was in a cone for nearly two weeks (and on several medications). He's made a full recovery, but now he's traumatized by big dogs, including friends of ours that have been "friends" with him for years. I'm actually grateful 1) that we had a home visit because if we had just left them over vacation, I'm sure that big dog would have killed B as D was in no physical condition to remove her big dog, and 2) that I didn't have my 6-month-old son with me who would have either gotten hurt or had been traumatized - with B very likely been killed since I wouldn't have had my hands free to remove them. I should have removed my dogs from the situation much sooner, but D kept reiterating how well-behaved her big dog was and how much experience she had handling dogs. But that proved untrue in this situation, and B paid for it. BOTTOM LINE: You know your dogs better than anyone else on this planet. Ask all questions up front, and leave the second something doesn't feel right. And don't expect this company to apologize or pay for any negative incidents.

Happy Tails cares about your pets and the family too. Boy, that sounds like an advertisement! We left Tegan, our Corgi, with an excellent pet sitter, Carter. He was selected by Tamara based on a thorough intake form. It is a great match Our Tegan loves Carter We will be using Happy Tails Pet Sitting, and Carter. So glad we found Happy Tails and Carter to take care of our girl.

Cheryl is wonderful with our dog Bentley. We get daily reports with pictures. We think he has more fun at her house than ours with all the other dogs he gets to play with. We love knowing he's in good hands and isn't stressed out at a kennel. And Jesse is lovely with our kitten. We come home and our kitten is happy, the litter boxes are clean, the mail has been brought in, and the plants have been watered. And we know someone has been keeping a daily eye on our home. Great peace of mind!

We've used them several times now for pet visits, overnights, and private boarding. Every time we felt our animals were well cared for and in good hands. We will definitely continue to use them and wholeheartedly recommend their services.

We’ve used this company’s service several times now. All the sitters have been super. We’ve had someone do checks on our kitten, play and feed her. Another time we had someone stay overnight with our puppy and kitten. And another time private boarded our puppy at a sitter’s home. Every time we came back to happy, well cared for pets. All the sitters were respectful and responsible. Great peace-of-mind. We will definitely continue to use them.

Tamara and Happy Tails does such a great job asking questions and going beyond the surface to make sure every detail is covered. I like that they find a sitter who matches well with my style. It’s the little extra touches that matter.

Jersey received amazing care while we were out of town for 3 weeks. I received pics and comments each day. I new she was being well taken care of, which gave me piece of mind to relax during my vacation.

This place was great. It is basically one super nice lady who knows a bunch of other people who will baby sit your dog at their home. Which worked out great for me because my dog doesn't like to be boarded and she had all the freedom to run around and play with her other dogs. I couldn't have been happier.

I recently had a truly AWFUL experience with this company. I hired them to take care of my cats for 4 days, well the sitter showed up the first day but then she apparently "became ill" and never showed up the remaining 3 days. The sitter …
