The people and care were great, but the 7+ hour wait was crazy. More critical animals kept extending the wait time.

These people are hero’s. Caring, kind, informative all of the above and reasonably priced. Don’t think twice- Truvet is your absolute best option!!!! They took beyond amazing care of our kitty and got to the bottom of her issue and fixed her right up.

VERY expensive but VERY worth it. They saved my pup Chewy and while he was there for 5 days they let me call every few hours to check up on him and even let me visit every day! Recommending everyone to Truvet!

It was a great experience, they were nice and took care of our 17 yr old cat. Sunny has not been feeling good for a few days now.

Although they couldn't save our cat, they were so respectful, kind and sensitive to our pain and heartache. I appreciated the care in which they handled our situation.

The entire staff at TruVet is outstanding! We have been traveling in our RV. A local vet referred us to Tru Vet. They took our puppy (7 years old), did a full diagnosis, kept her overnight for observation and we were able to pick her up Thanksgiving morning. They even sent us home with a month’s worth of medications. All staff communicated clearly and all charges were explained in full. The facility was clean. Outstanding! Highly recommend TruVet.

I’d give negative stars if it were possible. This vet hospital cares only for money. I brought my dog to them to treat of an immune disease. She ended up all of sudden developing an infection that she died from. I called TruVet panicked and they told me they could not take my dog in because they were closing in an hour. I had already spent in excess of $20k with them and they turned their back on me. Instead I took my dog to the emergency vet in Marin where she was seen by a specialist who informed me that my dog was on way too high of immune suppressants and that her body could not fight on an infection that developed at her lip. Need I remind them that TruVet was aware of the lip cut and did nothing. After my dog passes my regular vet called as well as the ER vet to give their condolences. Never heard from TruVet. On top of that, they have a bloated staff all fighting to use the same two brain cells. Stay away if you care for your pet.

This place has been amazing. They have taken care of my sick puppy for multiple days, phone call updates multiple times a day, courteous staff. I know she is in good hands. Thank you, TruVet.

The dog had a cough. Was discovered as having plastic pieces or something small stuck in the throat causing the cough. Was told it wasn't kennel cough. Later we found from another source it was kennel cough. We were out a couple hundred bucks and a wrong diagnosis. I guess anyone can make a mistake. Now the dog is okay.

We had to put our cat of almost 17 years down due to heart & kidney diseases. They got us right in despite having other patients waiting and were so supportive of both our sick little kitty and of our feelings. So caring yet professional. Highly recommend them in event of emergency.

My dog Orbitz got sick when my regular vet wasn't open so I tried them and they were delightful! Orbitz has some stranger danger issues but the staff was willing to go slow with him and were able to handle him with no problems which tells me they got good dog vibes. The staff was also very informative and friendly. They were upfront and walked me through the medical process without confusing me or pressuring me to pay for more than I needed. The only reason I'm giving 4 stars is because the wait times were crazy (like, 3 or 4 hours) and it's a bit pricier than I'm used to. But I'm almost positive other places would've been even more expensive so they're definitely in that middle bracket- not cheap but not ridiculously overpriced either. And being an emergency hospital, I can kind of understand the wait times though I do wish they had some kind of call back system where if you had other things to do nearby, you could go do them and they just give you like, a 30 min heads up call when they're almost ready for you. I don't know exactly how their system works though so I'm not sure how doable that would be but it's a thought. I also kind of wish they were open 24 hours since they're an emergency clinic. Maybe once their business grows and they can get more staff? ???? They're still open longer than the majority of vets in the area, though, so I'm not really mad at it. I'd honestly give them 4.8 stars if I could because that stuff is honestly very minor and barely a problem. They otherwise proved to be very solid. I just wanted to give a fully honest review that helps other people know what to expect which is long wait times, EXACTLY reasonable prices (no more, no less), and a fantastic and dedicated staff that you feel you can trust with your pets. I'll definitely be using them again if another emergency pops up (hopefully never). Orbitz is doing a lot better, now, by the way so thanks to TruVet for giving me that peace of mind ????

I was devastated because my baby Teddy was lethargic and the clinic I took him to told me he was dying. I'm thankful to have been transferred to TruVet, they were compassionate and caring. Teddy had to stay two nights but when I picked he up he was no longer in the condition he was prior. My poor dog couldn't walk yet when he was discharged he came out walking and wagging his tail. I know he's still not out of the woods but I'm thankful they didn't give up on my baby.

This veterinary is excellent. Their service was very helpful when my black lab was having problems breathing. I was so grateful the vet didn’t suggest putting Fang to sleep and instead found a long term treatment for him. He’s doing great thanks to the TruVet service!

My nephew's dog ran out of the dog park at the camp site near here. She ran about a mile and a half away on hot asphalt. Which tore and blistered her feet really bad. We took her to truvet who took her in and got her bandaged up ASAP and relatively good price

I brought my ten month old, ten pound puppy here after emergency hospitals in Santa Rosa and Rohnert Park couldn't see him due to being at capacity (at noon on a Sunday). His symptoms were bloody diarrhea and vomiting for more than 24 hours. I was pretty sure after consulting with Dr. Google (lol) that he had either acute hemorrhagic gastroenteritis or had swallowed something he shouldn't have. Long story shortish, TruVet could not have been better. Yes, I waited four hours in the parking lot prior to him being triaged (a vet tech had at least come to the car to ensure he was stable), another hour for the vet to examine him, and then another hour and a half to find out the results of his initial lab work and an abdominal x-ray; but they had to see other patients that arrived with more urgent symptoms first (just like at a human hospital) and there is a severe shortage of veterinarians. The parking lot is shaded well by huge trees which helps. My puppy ended up hospitalized for two nights to receive IV fluids and medications -- ultimate diagnosis gastroenteritis of unknown origin. I do not believe Yuki would still be with me if it weren't for TruVet. Dr(s). Marcus and McEvoy were AMAZING and Dr. Kruger was the best because she got to discharge my furbaby. Would give ten stars if I could.

Got an appointment the same day and they took very good care of my dog.

Do yourself and your pet a favor and steer clear of this place. I sat in their parking lot with a very ill pet and no one ever came out to triage her or put eyes on her. I called her regular vet and they told me to bring her to them, and once I got there they started caring for her immediately. It was an hour before TruVet even realized we had left. They were more interested in making sure I filled out their new patient form instead of triaging the patient first and then having forms completed. There is literally nothing "Emergency" about this hospital. Take your pet to VCA in Rohnert Park or Santa Rosa, your pet's life just might depend on it.

They said they operate under a first come first serve bases but not when I was there. Got there at 11am saw a handful of people come in after me and leave before me without having my animal seen at all. Waited 5 hrs before a tech asked if I wanted to leave my dog in a kennel inside instead of the hot car and said it was free but then charged me 30 bucks for the stay anyways. Unfortunately after 9 hrs of waiting around and over a $300 bill they released my dog just after 7pm and were not able to diagnose her problems. What a huge waste of time and money next time I'm going to the VCA in RP
