We adopted two dog from this Shelter & animals here are in fantastic condition. In the past we have visited several Shelters & we have to say the STAFF are OUTSTANDING here in Petaluma!!!

Absolutely amazing place! They took spectacular care of my 2 cats for an extended period due to a medical emergency on my part. I talked to them regularly to check on the cats, and they were always helpful and happy to hear from me. When I was able to take them back home, they were so happy and calm, no readjustment period. I can't recommend them highly enough. Lovely caring staff...(especially Kathy!)

We adopted a beautiful kitty named Matilda (Tilly). We got sent home with goodies and where in n out in no time. Great staff that helped us get a new family member.

Wonderful animal shelter and great staff. It's clean, the animals well taken care of and loved! We just adopted 2 kittens and very happy with how well they have taken care of them and found them a home.

Didn't get to go see Any cats there still closed. But the employees came out and were so nice, explained what was going on. Just let you guys know your employees are awesome

Great place! Open to receiving donations for their Thrift store and their shelter animals need all our support!! Please drop off any clothing, sundries, household items, sports, or any items for the Thrift store to sell!!! Support our furry families in need!!!

I have adopted here for all my cats. Its not expensive and its the best way to get a kitten.

Excellent and knowledgeable team at this animal shelter! I was last there for my friend's birthday celebration tour (about 20 people). I also adopted both of our family cats from here. Wonderful people!!

These folks are experts in all aspects of animal services. Please check out their "Cat Cafe" where you can grab a snack, coffee/tea and hang with those wonderful felines! It's a Puuuuuurrrrffect anti-stress place. Those sweet kitties listen, and keep your secrets ❤????❤????

Don’t bring your animals or strays here. They don’t care about animals. Euthanized a cat that was lost on the first night it was there, for simply being dehydrated and underweight after being lost. Disgusting organization

This place is amazing and I'm incredibly thankful for what they've done for me and the sweet Bandit. He'll be available for adoption soon and theres so many other animals available that are just beautiful! Donate, volunteer or adopt, they deserve the help

I love donating items to this shelter . They are clean, caring and compassionate and I’m so pride to have them in our community . A big thank you to the wonderful volunteers .

The staff members are very nice and very easy to talk to. We have adopted Alaska the Siberian Husky here back in April and we just adore her so much. We came back to Foster Gator the Malinois and same very nice treatment. They take care of these animals. I wish I have more room to adopt more. Please visit them. Maybe adopt or foster a pet.

The way they work their system if more than one family wants a certain dog is terrible.

Great staff! All sorts of furry animals. Dogs, cats, bunnies! You can foster here too, and you can volunteer to take the dogs on walks.

My son wanted to adopt a kitten from the animal shelter. After stopping by a couple of times a week for around a month, we found the perfect cat for us. Or perhaps the perfect cat found us? Rakshasa is a beautiful, well-behaved three-year old who is affectionate AND an excellent mouser. The facility is clean and (wonder of wonders) odor free, at least everytime I have been. Kathy, the person who assisted us, is wonderful. The adoption process was thorough, but painless. Thank you!

They are always kind to people and animals

Small, clean facility with visiting rooms and friendly staff. The animals are well cared for and are frequently given the opportunity to see the visitors and go on exhibitions around the area. A very satisfactory experience.

Bella is very rude. Not helpful. Refused to even consider our family for adoption of dog, even after application was approved. Would not allow me to bring children to meet with a dog we were interested in. Horrible experience.
