I am so glad that I found Fit N Furry Pet Resort. After New Year’s, I had to leave town quickly and Fit N Furry was recommended to me. I have an 8 month old German Shorthair Pointer puppy, who had a less than desirable experience with a petsitter once before. Tilly loved Fit N Furry and she got plenty of exercise, too. I requested a bath before I picked her up and she smelled so good. It’s such a relief to have such a professional, clean atmosphere. Fit N Furry has my business and I hope to take her back for training and daycare. It’s a drive from Napa but totally worth the peace of mind. Thank you!

My cat Norman had a wonderful stay here for a little over two weeks. Staff were very kind to him and responsive to my many requests for pet updates (many by email at odd hours as I was overseas without cell service). While Norman decided to protest the vacation by going on a voluntary hunger strike, the staff went above and beyond to get him eating and keep him happy and healthy. Highly recommend for cat boarding.

Always nice to leave my dog here to a stay.

The only people to successfully cut my dogs nails

I’ve used their lodging and grooming services for my somewhat anxious beagle who is 7 years old. They do such a good job trimming her nails, and she always smells great when I pick her up!

Thank you so much to the training team at Fit n Furry, I took my 6 month old Belgian/Dutch for a 14 day stay, Evie and I have never been apart prior to her going to traing, the staff was compassionate and caring not only to me but my baby girl... Evie came back a happy trained dog with maturity and confidence. A happy confident well behaved dog is the best dog. Thank You Susan.

We could tell our Jeffrey had a good time because he didn’t want to leave. He also looked well groomed. What more can we say but Fit n Furry is the one for our best friend.

My puppy aren’t went here for the 10 day training and came back a completely different dog for the better. She’s still her silly little self but with manners! Its amazing what they were able to do with her in 10 short days (even though those were the longest 10 days without my baby)

Wonderful staff. We had contact every day on how our pet was fairing. We felt very comfortable that she was there. It’s obvious the staff loves pets and that was so nice. We will definitely use them again when we need to for both day care and boarding!

I left my big pup Simba there for 9 nights for the first time last week. I was sooooo worried that he would be miserable, but I checked in a lot, and I got prompt messages/ calls/ photos back, assuring me that he was having a great time! We had been using a place more local to us in San Rafael, but we will be using Fit n Furry for all of our future trips away, as I know Simba is in the best hands! ????❤️

Great puppy socializing class and no charge, too.

I feel able to trust Fit and Furry with the care of my 18-year-old cat. I went to several other boarding facilities before I chose Fit and Furry, and I was disturbed by how gloomy they were. I appreciate that there is plenty of natural light in the cattery, and last time I was there I noticed several cats sitting at their windows enjoying the sun and peering outside. The staff always seem to truly like the pets they care for, and that means a lot.

The trainer Janet was helpful and insightful. She has really helped me begin to understand my dog Taison's needs by teaching me how dogs think. I believe Taison is happier now that he knows what I expect of him and now that I know how to communicate with him.

My dog has been to other places before and has come home sick and just not himself. This time I have to say I was nervous but when I picked him up tail wagging happy and playful when he got home. I love this place and will be back again.

Amazing service, friendly, knowledgeable staff, great prices

I had to leave my disabled dog for five days recently, and I was very satisfied with the staff at Fit N Furry. They accommodated her needs with an open hearts, and remembered the details of her visit even a day after I picked her up.

Had a training consultation (free) for our 4 month old puppy. Maddy and Aaron were very thorough and interacted well with us and our pup. The facility is nice and clean. We scheduled the training and decided to board our pup while we were on vacation. The staff is friendly and caring. They took really good care of Buster. We'll be returning in 2 weeks for the training

We took our rescue "CASH'' to Fit N Furry and He had a great experience! We rescued Cash a year ago and due to his trauma from being in a shelter for almost 4 years and being attacked while he was there, we didn't think it would be possible for Cash to have a positive experience at somewhere like this, but we wanted to see how he would do. I called to set up an overnight, and told them some of our concerns, and reservations about Cash and his trauma due to his attack. We were welcomed by two very nice, and professional staff members, and another girl came out to get Cash to take him to his room. He was very excited to be there with his tail wagging away!!! Cash gave us a very quick kiss goodbye and off he went with NO reservations. We picked up Cash the next day in the afternoon, and He was happy, and full of energy! Cash gave to girl that brought him out to us a lot of kisses, so I have to believe that he happy to be there (and loved everyone)! I would say that our overall experience was a positive, but would have liked to get a call back when i called to check up on Cash earlier that morning, but No news is good news was the way I looked at it! Thank you again to everyone for making this a very positive experience for our very special guy!!! We will be back!

This place rocks!! A Must see/experience!

Fit and Furry delivered as promised! Our 2 yr old dog, Juno underwent a 2 week training and came home yesterday a totally changed dog. Before training, he was very skittish, fearful of people and new environments. We had difficulty walking him around our neighborhood ,with him always pulling or tugging. Today my son took him for a walk/ jog and Juno was a willing participant. We reviewed with him all the commands that were taught to him and he executed them with no resistance. We are truly impressed and grateful to the staff of Fit and Furry especially to Isela and team who worked so hard with Juno and got him to a place where Juno is confident of himself and willing to try new stuff. Thank you Aaron for promptly calling us when we requested for updates. We were on vacation for the duration of Juno’s training but we had peace of mind knowing that our beloved family member was in great hands. We highly recommend Fit n Furry ! It is truly a home away from home!

Fit N Furry took amazing care of my 11 month old Great Pyrenees mix! We have been for daycare a few times and done a week of boarding and a bath so far. He is was so fluffy and happy and healthy after his stay. 10/10 would recommend for your fur baby.

I use Fit N Furry every time I come home to California to visit my kids and friends. Violet loves it and actually spent the night for the first time. She did very well, and I felt she was well cared for. She also had her first spa treatment before I picked her up to drive home. Let’s face it they get really stinky playing with dogs all day. I am really impressed with there groomer. She smelled great. Her nails were trimmed and ears cleaned. Her coat felt wonderful. Yes I am happy to recommend them to everyone!

Way overpriced for what you get- $320 for our two dogs to stay ONE NIGHT with baths-also with a night free! This is just ridiculous! We have dropped our dogs at many other day or overnight places without such a high price tag and they still had the best time at other dog facilities. I also hated how much everything felt scripted-none of the interactions felt genuine. The whole experience was just extra and not in a good way. We would not recommend this place and will not be going back. *** And in response to your most recent reply-yes you refunded me 1/2 the stay after RECHARGING me an additional 1/2 of the stay so in total I was charged over $500 or so and then after calling several times I was refunded my random additions charge. Also-you ARE NOT comparable to other places in the area as we have stayed at other ones that were priced better with more genuine service. The fact that you are responding to this more than a month later-after your staff overcharged me AGAIN is absolutely ridiculous. We have found a better place for our dogs and if anyone is looking K9 in Santa Rosa is MUCH better.

Excellent care, dependable and trustworthy

Just had the initial training evaluation with Maddie so far but very much looking forward to the transition that I’m hoping for with my Dog next month.

"I really appreciate all FnF staff, especially Elijah. When I dropped off my baby he remembered her and she remembered him. Her tail was wagging so hard it hit her ribs! It was very nice to see them interact with eachother and most reassuring to see that he was not scared of her (she's a Cane Corso) and treated her well. Kudos to him and the FnF staff."

Do NOT bring your animal for grooming services. I brought my 11 year old German Shepherd for a basic groom and will never go back. I was told to drop him off at 9 am and let the girl the front desk he had nerve injury on his nails so no need to clip, keep him Comfy while he waits as he has very sensitive hips. I had to call at 3 pm because the wait seemed ridiculous. I was finally able pick him up at 4:30 ish. When he got home he drank water for like 5 minutes straight which was an obvious sign he was not being hydrated, his nails were clipped even though I told them not to, his undercoat was not brushed out. I called them TWICE and never received a call back. They are so unprofessional. This is not the first time they pull this move. 7+ hour wait for a groom is barbaric. Never coming back and you should look elsewhere too. Save your coins and time.

Fit and Furry took care of our dog for 31 days. He came back in better shape, and they painstakingly cleaned his teeth.

The front desk always friendly and efficient. All the staff seem to really enjoy their jobs and provide loving care.
