This is by far THE best dog grooming place in the Folsom and Orangevale area. What I like best is that they only groom one dog at a time. One dog per hour, so no kennels are needed there. Every hour on the hour a dog gets picked up when another dog gets dropped off. Very reasonable prices also. Book in advance...theyre usually booked 8 weeks out.

I took my husky Maverick in for his nails trim a couple of times and it was so quick and painless I decided I wanted to try a grooming Appointment and John did a fantastic job in only 45 minutes! For only have gone there 3 times Mav got so excited to see him he howled at him! We do a lot of camping and hikes and he was soo dirty, when we picked him up his fur was extremely white and clean! Super super happy with our experience here, highly recommend him!

John is so awesome! He is VERY gentle and calm with my wild Weimaraner, Bree. She gets very nervous going inside, but John takes her back and she settles down and there's never been a problem. I do a walk -in to get my dogs nails cut and he always squeezes her in. I won't go anywhere else! I totally trust him!

I am so very pleased with the job John does on my boy! He is not easy for me to work on but John has a nack. Gets him done in an hour! The place is clean and he just works on one at a time. I have been using this groomer for almost a 9mos. I recommend him highly!

John is an amazing person and talented dog groomer. He accommodated us with a last minute appointment. Our 8 month old Golden Retriever, Bella, is nervous around new people. He was calm and gentle with her as he led her to the back. He told me she'd be done in one hour. When I got there she was ready to go and having fun with the other pups that were there. She looked great, was trimmed just right, was so soft and, smelled SO GOOD! John is always nice, smiling, loves animals and is accommodating. Thank you for your consistent great care with our Bella!

Wonderful groomer. Our golden retriever is washed, dried and trimmed and beautiful in one hour, and our pup comes home relaxed and happy.

Good service and great price

We had been using another groomer for years. My husband's family used this same groomer throughout his childhood. We moved and the trip became a tad too far. We did some research and were excited to see that John's was highly rated and less than a mile from our new place. Let's just say that we could not be happier! John and his staff were so friendly and caring. They took such good care of our little guy and he is now just the cutest thing ever. Recommend them 100% we will be back soon!

I got my 5 month old puppy's nails trimmed. He was really nice, gentle and patient with my puppy. Very reasonable priced. Will defiantly be going back.

John always does a great job with our babies

Dharma is a beautiful mid size 2 year old Australian Labradoodle however she suffers from extreme anxiety. Being put in a cage either before or after grooming is torture for her. With John, you have an exact 1 hour appointment. When the hour is up, you pick up your beautifully bathed and groomed fur baby and off you go. This is a very unique concept in pet grooming. John has a special way with dogs but you must make your appointment way in advance because he is extremely popular.

John is wonderful with dogs. He had our large malinois washed and nails trimmed in under an hour. She can be difficult, anxious at times, but he had no problem with her and she loved him and the bath. Totally amazing!

Best place I've ever had my fur baby groomed! John is just great! I give this 10 stars!

Our little bichon frise loves John???? so much and so do we because of the convenience of just an hours wait and also that I little guy does not have to be in a crate for hours! These guys are so awesome! Sweet, professional, caring and great at grooming. I have a little dog with hair, not fur, and he gets to be a tangled mess. These guys made him look magnificent! Thank you so much!

The nicest groomer around! He does one dog every hour. No waiting forever to get your dog back. Hes friendly and listens to what you say. I travel 25 mins to see him. Very good groomer.

Love him, but more importantly, my dog Gary loves him. I like that he only does one dog at a time and doesn't kennel him in between.
