As others stated, this wasn't my normal vet. But my cat needed care ASAP and I decided to try this place out. Pretty sure I will be switching over now. They were able to get me a same day appointment, only a few hours later. The doctor was transparent about what was going on and what tests were recommended and what the estimated cost would be. They immediately got my cat on the medications he needs and he made a full recovery. They also followed up on his progress and had a plan in place to bring him in again if things did not improve. The doctor was very knowledgeable and explained everything every step of the way. I definitely recommend this vet if you are looking for somewhere to take your cat.

I had an dog that was in extreme pain and New Haven Animal Hospital was the only hospital that would see my dog. They treated us both with empathy and compassion. There's nothing worse than not being able to make your pet better. They were able to stop her pain and solve the issue. That day I decided that I wanted New Haven Animal Hospital to be my pets new place to go for care. I will NEVER forget the love the staff showed to me and my baby that day.

My poor dog fractured his femur in 2 places. He was a rescue off the street and I was only with him for a few months. I couldn’t afford the cost of repair, but New Haven Animal Hospital offered for me to surrender the dog to their legal possession, assume the cost of surgery, and find it a happy home. Thank you NHAH. I am so relieved that Mr Mojo can grow healthy and old in a home better suited for him. Thank you, thank you, thank you!

My dog was not feeling well. Luckily I called this office and they were able to see him within the hour of calling. Staff were very caring & professional. The vet was also very caring. She explained the treatment my dog needed in a way that was easy to comprehend. My little guy is doing so much better. Thank you guys so much!

I’ve been coming here some the day after I got my dog. I continue to come back because they really treat him like family! They call after every visit to make sure he’s good. I highly recommend to any pet lover.

We have 6 cats and Dr. Sandhu has taken good care of all of them. She helps us come up with a treatment plan that works for us. We love taking care of our neighborhood strays and we take the very sick cats and she does a wonderful job with them. One of the kittens we saved had to have his eye removed and he turned out great and got adopted into an amazing home. Great with follow up and answers all our questions! Plus its 2 minutes from our house so we cant beat it.

This is not my regular vet, although I'm 99% positive I'd like to switch over to them. But they had same day availability versus my vet who was 3-4 days later while my senior dog was very sick. I didn't want to wait anymore to take her in, I called new haven AH and they said theycould see me today!! This was great, my fur furbaby could get treated sooner! Great staff all around, very friendly, and the Dr told me exactly what was going on every step of the way.

Amazing staff! They were excellent with my two cats. Kept me up to date throughout the visit. Highly recommend!!!!!

I have a Shih tzu and brought my dog in for vaccinations. I requested an appointment on their website and got a call in 2 days. Since it's my dog's first time visiting this hospital, there was a wellness exam (~$40) done to get a baseline of my dog's health. I told them my dog is unfriendly towards humans so they gave me a soft muzzle to put on her. I forgot my leash because I was in a hurry and luckily they gave me a leash for her = they're prepared for my mistake ty! Vaccinations were at a reasonable price and they even offered to shave our dog's mats on her back legs because they saw how bad they were! Although this hospital DOESN'T have any professional grooming services, they did their best to take care of my dog, which I am grateful for. For them to offer, shows me that they care so much for my dog to a point where they went above and beyond their services. The staff were nice and told me my dog was calm and did well! If I were to suggest something to improve their services, it would be to have their clients to log into their website to self-book their appointment and see their pet's medical history/vaccination record. Another plus, if they have professional grooming services in the future! Thank you for your wonderful service!

This place is always great with my pups and cats. The doctors, technicians and nurses are always on their game when it comes to taking care of my fur babies. I know that when my babies are in their care they are being well taken care of. ????????????????‍♀️????????????????

Our dog was experiencing pain and having difficulty walking. My original vet couldn't get me for 2 weeks. Other facilities that we were recommended to were booked up as well. I was able to get an appointment the very day I called because the Veterinarian knew our dog was old and didn't want to see him suffer. How compassionate is that. That spoke volumes to me and my husband. I also received calls from the Veterinarian when blood work/urine analysis were in. These are very caring people and the vet technicians are awesome as well.

Called for an emergency follow up and was told I wasn't able to be seen. This is sickening to my stomach so quick to rack up your bill with all these additional fees and excessive additional costs but when u need them the most they let u down the owner down and don't have the best interests of your pet in mind. It's just to much for one main doctor to take on. Lack of communication between staff and doctor. Don't waste ur time getting lost for a hidden place just for some poor service of what truly matter your paw family member not being seen.

I'd give this place 10 stars if possible. Thank you for your compassion towards the loss of our pup. They were the only one to take us in last minute on emergency when our 14yr old german shephard was no longer able to lift himself and in pain. They made the process of giving him our last goodbye humane and made him as comfortable as possible under the circumstances. Being our first time going through this type of loss we didnt know what to expect. We were explained every step and were allowed to be with him until his last breath and thereafter. The commemorate paw and delivery of his remains were a sweet touch of the staff going above and beyond for pets and their caregivers. Thank you New Haven.

Most hospitals are booked out for months due to covid, but I was able to get a next day appointment for my 8 year old cat. I needed to bring her in for an exam and labwork. My cat was diagnosed with hyperthyroidism late last year and an exam and labwork are needed every 6 months for refills. Dr. Sandhu and his wife, Dr. Sandhu (aka Dr. K), and all of the staff members were very kind and thorough. The whole visit (including checking in, examination of my pet, labwork which was sent out and a nail trim) took about 30 minutes, of course it varies depending on your pet's health status, if labwork is being done in hospital vs. sent out, etc. Dr. K went over the labwork results with me today and explained everything clearly. Their prices are comparable to other clinics, but their care is unmatched. I will definitely be bringing all of my pets here from now on.

Had an amazing visit with our 3 week old foster kitten with a squinty eye! Made the appointment very easily online and was contacted immediately to schedule. Very clean and modern vet office. Tons of places are booked out and won't fit you in for weeks but New Haven got us in within 3 days which was super helpful and we are so grateful ❤ prices are extremely reasonable. We have known the owners (very kind husband and wife) for about 2.5 years now and they are nothing short of caring, compassionate and knowledgeable. Will definitely be coming back for excellent care. Two weeks ago I had to search for a vet that would urgently exam my pit bull (Stormi) I have a vet that i use regularly in Ontario but they did not have any available appointments. Stormi’s eye was infected and so was her ear. This place took us in at a time of need.Stormi is my baby she was suffering with her eye injury The Doctor ,The Nurses and The staff were amazing. I am changing my vet not because of there availability but for the unconditional care and concern they gave Stormi.???? I will be forever grateful for the entire staff. They helped Stormi get back to normal and showed her love in a time of need.Thank you and much love from the Wardlaw’s

Came in because my dog had bite wounds from another dog. We really appreciate Dr. Sandhu coming outside to speak to my husband and I directly about Naomi’s condition as well as Jojo who did an amazing job on taking care of her wounds as well as keeping us updated step by step on the process. Jojo was awesome and made my husband and I feel at ease about the process.

I brought my cat in for an infection because 7 other vet clinics I tried were all booked through the week. This was great luck for me though because everyone at new haven animal hospital was super kind and honest. Great communication and explained the process and options well. I felt like my cat was in good hands. Jojo was super helpful and comforting, she has excellent customer service skills.

Had to euthanize our Thelma Lou. It was not easy but they made it a little more bearable. We will use them again.

After having bad experiences elsewhere, I am blown away by the professionalism of the New Haven Animal Hospital staff. We have brought our 9-year-old Kelpie here because she was limping and in pain, as well as our 6-month-old shepherd to be spayed and micro-chipped. Every person at New Haven explained everything thoroughly to us in both situations and left nothing to the imagination. After picking both our dogs up on separate occasions, both dogs were calm and comfortable with the staff which speaks volumes to their care. Both of our dogs are recovering well and we have finally found a reliable, professional vet we can depend on.

My baby girl hasn't been feeling well. It's been trips to ER vet, primary vet x2. On 2nd visit to primary I was not happy. I decided to take her to our new local vet. New Haven Animal Hospital. I must say I was very pleased. The receptionist Kayla, Lailani were great very polite and friendly as well as my babies nurse Diana. Diana was very knowledgeable and took my baby like it was hers. As for the vet Dr.S himself very passionate, instant feeling of this is definitely his passion, his calling, very informative, patient because of course I asked question after question then had an emotional breakdown. I have been a banfield member for almost 14 yrs I must say although I had to pay for my visit today their pricing is amazing. What I got for the price compared to my wellness plan is almost the same being that I got way more done at our new vet. I am highly considering canceling my wellness plan and sticking to the new vet! Check them out!

We've taken our older dog here, extremely happy to have a professional and passionate vet so close. Dr. Sandhu and team have been top notch and I would certainly recommend New Haven Animal Hospital.

I know this hospital just opened but Dr.Sandhu is great. His attention to detail is great and he makes you feel welcomed at every visit. I recently met the second doctor, which is Dr.K and she is as great as Dr.Sandhu is, both have been great with my 3 babies that I have already brought in. I highly recommend Both doctors are great. They cover everything in detail. Their staff is great. They ask all the right questions getting all the information to treat my pet accordingly. I highly recommend this clinic
