Bethany. the check in girl is very efficient and patient with the million questions, requests etc. From everyone. Dr. Pusateri is very through and knowledgeable.

Took my dog to banfield Ontario for her yearly check and then was told she needed surgical appointment and that needed to be on 11/19/21. Ok I schedule it I get confirmation email from them. I confirmed they confirmed. Woke up extra early because her drop off time is 7am and she need to be fasting so she didn’t eat. then we get there there’s a sign they are closed for the holidays. No one. Knows anything other than they closed. I didn’t get no call no voicemail and no email nothing. Now my poor baby has to wait to be seen again. Why would you schedule an appointment when you know you are not going to be open ? !!!

Bad service. The nurses in the front desk think you have all day to spend in there, they give people faces to and take to long to attend to you even though you made an appointment it takes an hour to an hour and a half just to see the vet.

Dont understand why, But everytime i try to call Banfield in the petsmart on forth st. I can never get through. It rings one time and then stops. Noone answers. This has been going on for the past two months. I pay monthly for my puppy to get the care he needs and for some reason i cant even get him in to a visit. What's the point in paying so much money monthly if he cant even be seen.. Or get a hold of anyone to schedule his appointment. Theres two front desk workers there all the time, not one cant managed to answer the phones. What kind of business is this.

I pay each month for a wellness plan for my dog. it was a good value and I received outstanding service from Dr. Miriam Harvey for years. I'm told that Dr. Harvey got some well-deserved promotions and is now mentoring other vets in the Banfield organization. Unfortunately for me, the service I've received from this location has been steadily declining ever since she left. Appointments are hard to come by. When I can get one, they expect me to drop off my dog in the morning and leave her stuck in a small cage till they manage to get around to seeing her. Instead, I suggested they let me know when the doctor would be ready and I'd bring her in immediately. (That's called an "appointment.") No, they said. We can't do that. Actually, they can. They simply won't. I understand that the treatment rooms are closed due to Covid. But if it's safe for me to drop off my dog in the morning, it would be just as safe to drop her off when the doctor is ready. This ridiculous policy is stressful for my dog who is sick and inconvenient for me, the guy paying the bill. I can only imagine that there is some benefit for the staff. But really, who works for who? The last time my dog had an attack of pancreatitis, I had to take her clear out to LaVerne where she could be treated same day. The LV office reluctantly gave in to my request to bring Molly in when the doctor was ready and she received quality care. Today, I called the Ontario location to ask the doctor a question related to Molly's medication. Even though all Banfield locations share electronic records, I was told that I'd either have to bring Molly in for a new examination or continue working through the La Verne office. So, basically, no help from Ontario. Remind me again why I'm paying for this Optimum Health Plan. Please, Banfield, start prioritizing your customers again--especially the plan members who pay you each and every month. As my dog ages, her very life depends on your availability and cooperation. For what it's worth, I was able to get a call back and very helpful advice from Dr V. at the La Verne office. Kudos to her!

I came on time to my appointment this morning only to be greeted by a rude receptionist who ignored me when I said good morning. She then left came back and told me that she’d been calling me for three days to reschedule. I could tell just by the tone of her voice that she was lying and my call history proves it. I normally have a great experience at Banfield and always am greeted kindly. She’s lucky I didn’t cancel my membership on the spot. I won’t be back to this location ever again (even if that means driving 30m to the next closest location).

We usually don’t go to this Banfield but I had an appointment in Rancho so I thought I’d take him here for his vaccines. We had him scheduled for a drop off, 12pm. I was called a little past 5pm he was ready for pick up. As soon as I seen them bring my puppy out he was whining, I knew something wasn’t right. He was very anxious. As soon as we walked outside he ran somewhere to pee. I kid you not, he was peeing for more than two minutes!! I felt so bad for him bcos prior to this appointment we taken him in and he had a bladder infection. So him not being relief was not okay. The past Banfields we’ve taken him they’ve always called us the next day to check on him. This Banfield did not call us at all. We Will not be returning

They took care of my dog, gave him shots, then the next day they call me to see if there was any issues with my dog or any concerns. I never got that when I took my kids to see the doctor.

I been with this company for about a few years now there are a little prices but now days who's not, and I have been around people who have made bad comments about this organization , even about my vet Dr Contras , But you no after what I Just experience most of the things she has did for me I can only give her thumbs up , she's been dead on and I only giving her Props from here , she's only doing her job and there was time I second guess her , if you don't won't to listen to her , then it's your lost, but i have taken what she said very seriously and so far she's been pretty accurate. for instance my yorkie is10 years old he has dry eyes she put him on some meds , after a few testing I started doubting her ask her to recommend me to a specialist for my yorkie eye she did, come to find out Dr Contras was dead on, and another problem that was building my yorkie is over weight have a bad cough and breathing a little abnormal she suggested taking he's treats way, yorkie now losing weight , he's starting to look good. Just won'ted Dr Contras to no we all aren't leaving bad reviews please keep up the good work thank you forgiving me good advice . I do appreciate a good vet when I see one.

The vet and all the assistants or techs were great and got us ready to go on our move to Detroit ! Now if I can find a vet as good as the one in Rancho Cucamonga !

Recently went to Banfield to see Dr. Miriam Harvey she was referred by friends but she wasn't there so saw Dr. Veronica Contreras. Our Beagle puppy was vomiting and had bloody diarrhea they fit us in as soon as we got there and they took wonderful care of our Benny. The prices for testing were decent. They kept him there ran test, x-ray and sent us home with meds. We thought we were going to lose him he was sick for 5 days but after leaving the next day he was running around and back to his naughty self ???? Couldn't be happier. They called to check on him and would definitely recommend. Puppy plan also is so worth it.

Vet was thorough and explained everything very well. The tech was a bit rough. And, while other vets gave vaccinations while I watched, these people took my dog behind closed doors to administer shots. Also, didn’t explain the shots would swell and be extremely sore to the touch. I had to call back after getting home to get an explanation. Their health coverage plans are helpful. As we are OTR truckers and never sure where we will be next. Now we have the peace of mind

Banfield has been the best decision I could have ever made for my fur baby. Being a truck driver, we've been to several of them throughout the country. This location squeezed us in the same day I called, they were knowledgeable, friendly, prompt and super kind. 5 stars all the way!

Truck Drivers, do not go with Banfield. Dr. Contreras is very unprofessional. Actually smiling in our faces as she refused to give our dog his services. We made an appointment for teeth cleaning, rabies shot and bordadella. We have the Pet Wellness Plan. When she tried to charge us $175 for blood work and we refused, she made an excuse to not give our dog immunizations. Then she said she would give him the immunizations and hung the phone up. When we returned to get our dog, Contreras said she would not give the shot for rabies. We are Commercial Truck Drivers. We have been on the Banfield Wellness Plan for years. We cancelled the plan today. I am the primary care person to our dog. My husband was at a dog park yesterday and he thought our dog had a seizure and told Kim the receptionist. Kim asked him how long the seizure was and my husband told her just a few seconds. So Contreras used that as an excuse. I told her he did not have a seizure. My dog has 1 seizure a year and never has it been for seconds. Minimum is 20 mins with jerking, rigid legs, similar to a person in a grand mall seizure. When I asked my husband what happened, he said my dog was running with dogs having fun, stopped, coughed and spit up and continued running. When I told Contreras this, she smiled, rolled her eyes and went in the back. I do not recommend Banfield. I have referred many truck drivers to them and I will never again refer anyone. We are going to a new vet today to get our dog's rabies shot. The receptionist asked us if we want our dog's anal glands expressed. We said yes. She did not tell us it is not covered by the Wellness Plan we have. They charged $31 to Express glands. Recommend that they be honest with customers when recommending services. Tell the customer the PRICE OF THE SERVICE SND THAT IT IS NOT COVERED BY WELLNESS PLAN!!!

Well horror story my dog's life was taken yesterday at this hospital and though they could lend me the money to put my dog to sleep in payments they couldnt lend me the money a day and a half to get my dog better or to run test I would have even have adopted her out if they would have fixed her and I couldn't afford it but instead I was told my dog was sick Wich was obvious that's why I brought my dog in on there free exam flyer they sent me then they told me how much it was gonna cost to find out what's wrong cuhz she had a temperature and the day before she was puking and the day I took her in she was pooping blood Wich is why I took her in either way when I took her in they automatically hooked her up to IVs they said just to keep her hydrated then they got her fever to come down but wouldn't run any test or do anything for her unless I payed them up front money so they came in trying to find different ways to come up with there money asking us to borrow money or some other way if we can think bout it tried having us sign up for multiple programs to help pay for our dog to just get tested and helped when they realized they wasn't getting money out of us they told us how we already owe them for services so far and that they don't know what's wrong with my dog Cuhz they can't do test cuhz I can't pay for them so they wouldn't feel comfortable releasing my dog to us cuhz they don't know if she is in pain since I didn't pay for there $200. Test so we now had no choice but to let them lend us $200. To put her down or to pay them now some money and they will try and save her I loved my girl dog she was best friends with the cat and everyone I know loved her she didn't deserve to get murdered because I didnt have there money to save her I know if I would have taken her home I could have got her better instead I lost my sweetheart all these people worried about was getting paid not my animal but of course since I don't have money no one will even care about what they did to my dog either RIP Shorty I am sorry I lost you due to being broke I would have never took you there if I knew I wasn't gonna get you back please don't shop or give business to this place or its associates give shorty some kind of justice it's probley the only justice she will get banfield killed shorty cuhz I didn't have money to save her and they wouldn't let me take her home to try and save her PLEASE get the word out about what happened to shorty she was seen yesterday April 26 at banfield hospital in Ontario on 4th st.
