Classy K-9 Clips Oceanside, California

I brought my dog in to get groomed. My dog came home so clean and fresh. I will definitely be bringing him back to this groomers.

When I called to make an appointment for my 62# Australian Shepherd, I asked for the pricing for such a dog. The website said that the price for a 62# dog was $50 and up for a bath + $17 for the deshedding treatment that I wanted. Well Diane told me that he would fall under the heavy coat pricing, which was $15 more ($65 and up). Then she told me that the prices had not been updated online since before Covid and the price would be $75 and up. I asked for clarification on what would make my dog more than $75, she wouldn't give me a straight answer, but most places will say this, and I've NEVER had anyone charge me more than the usual price for my specific breed. My pup is elderly at 11 years old, but he and his coat are in really good shape and he is super sweet. He had no mats, and was not especially dirty. When I got there, she wrote down $85 on a scrap of paper for me to leave my phone # on. I asked why it said $85, and she would only say that she told me it was $75 and up on the phone. I asked again what about my dog made him $85, and she just repeated that she had told me a 'range' for the price. The bather (Katie) was waiting for him and I really wanted to turn around and leave, but I knew the bather was probably counting on the tip, so for Katie's sake, I left him to be groomed. When I picked him up, Diane just sat on her butt while I waited 10 minutes for Katie to have a free moment to retrieve my dog. So I again asked Diane what 60# Australian Shepherd would be $75 (remember this is already $25 more than what the website prices said and w/o the deshedding treatment). She told me it was based upon the breed and the size, and I said so you knew this when you told me $75 on the phone. This is bait-and-switch. She said it was not because she told me 'and up'. Well she needs to review what bait-and-switch means and she needs to review what honesty and integrity mean! Really the price should simply say 'up and up and up'! Extremely unprofessional and I really regret leaving my dog there due to Diane's lack of honesty and integrity. Katie did a 5 star job on the bath, but I had to drop the deshedding treatment due to the price game and I won't return to a business that is run so shadily - I need to be able to trust who I leave my sweet pup with.

This is the second time we've taken our pup to be groomed and both times we have been pleased. The girls are friendly, attentive, and professional. Our pup was finished in 3 hrs and he looked great!

My pup Is 4& 1/2 pounds, I came to classic k-9 clips after a very disappointing appt w/ a MOBILE Groomer in the area that I saw hits dogs To make them obey . Now that I'm at classy K-9 clips shorty and I are both happy they are absolutely the best We've gone 3 times and will continue !!!!!

They are the best at de-shedding a husky that I have been to, also very good with my bully. I have tried Petco and both dogs came out very stressed and charged for services that were not done. Classy K-9 did an Amazing job and dogs were not stressed at all. I would recommend them to everyone ????

Classy K-9 Clips is the best!!! Just took my puppy cavoodle here and Tammy did a wonderful job. Bixby looks wonderful and the staff were very professional. They called me as soon as he was finished and I did not have to wait long in the parking lot for assistance. Highly recommend!

I love this place and so do my pup Sassy. I take her at least once a month to get her nails trimmed. The staff is very nice and professional.

I have Brussels Griffons, 5 to be exact. If they are unable to groom them complete why charge us as if you did. I understand 2 are puppies. (4 months and 15 months) and you could not do their faces. You did not finish the job and don’t charge me, the customer the full charge. With me leaving a tip as if you did before I saw you did not finish the job. Love the vet but now I will find another groomer to take care of my 5 Brussels.

Waited 2 weeks for an appointment and they were unable to cut and groom my dog. They said my dog nipped at them. The same dog that had no issues with any other groomer, and the same one who will lick you clean if you if you put your face anywhere near him lol. Absolutely ridiculous that professonal groomers could not handle a super sweet and friendly dog. If he nipped, they must have really hurt him, he doesnt like even walking by the place anymore. To reiterate even when at his worst, growling at another threatening dog, you can make a kissy sound and he will give you a few licks to make sure you are comforted. I dont know how they hurt my dog, but I will never go back.

We have made last minute changes at our appointments and they have been very accommodating each time. They treat our old pup very well and got to know him so recently when he didnt behave as he normally does, they knew something was up.

First time taking my dog here and will come back! Great customer service and great groomers. Richard groomed my dog and did an excellent job. Never been to a grooming place where they treat your dog with respect and patience. My dog normally has a tough time at the groomers and I loved that he told me that he sat on the floor and played with her to get her comfortable before he started grooming her.
