Dr Brian Spears is the worldwide best not only in the US for other countries call upon Dr Brian Spears he can he always believed in continuing his education to be that top notch guy in veterinary medicine I know this cuz I used to work for him extremely nice Phil I preferably loved it when he treated all animals and not just birds my heart broke but he is the best of the best I even worked on a bird with him and he's very smart I tell you anybody would be very proud to work for this man or take their bird to him he always screams other doctors very well that works in his veterinary hospital so you're sure to have a very good doctor when you go to his hospital there's everything great about Dr Spears and his hospital and staff they're very kind helpful and caring for all that it goes through their doors animal and human I would have to say he's the best man I know. Also you'll never find anyone better than him I guarantee you 100% you'd be totally satisfied if anyone ever talk down about him my opinion would be I would look at the other person talking down because somebody that spent all his life continuing education and doing the same thing for years and years and years and years decades and decades of learning and he has updated medical library all the time and his staff gets to use them there's no other better doctor you could go to 110% sure

All they care about is money, they told me and my mom different stories about my baby bird. They told me he'd be out in 2 days well he was but he was gone. They never called when they said he actually got sick which was still within the hours they were open I had to contact them for updates which were all different. Then the dr told my mom what he went in for was gone the next day then back back tracked.

The vets are top notch and every single person that works here is incredibly nice. Highly recommend bringing your bird here!

Very friendly staff. Great vet for birds!

My 20-year-old green cheek conure developed cancer (a cloacal carcinoma) and I brought her into this medical center for treatment. She received two months of chemo (2 doses every three weeks) and in the third month, she went in for surgery. Two months later, she has no remergence of cancerous or cystic tissue. It cost me 3000$ to get her full treatment and, despite the stress for me and both of my birds, every dollar was worth it. My green cheek may now happily live to 30 years old, only because of Dr Baden and Dr Speer. Dr Baden administered chemo to her and both doctors partook in her surgery. My tiny, snuggly, sassy dragon-bird means so much to me and I'll forever be grateful to the doctors here who saved her. Every day counts

My African Grey wanted to try to die. The amazing team here saved her! I do not know how much more I need to say to prove that they are worth every penny!

The doctor and all of the staff were excellent with letting us know how our bird was doing, explained, the medication and to administer it and did follow up call to to see how our bird was doing. I recommend them....

Wonderful staff and great Doctors. Linda is always so helpful getting us same day appointments even when they are booked. Dr. Speer is the best, he's saved our Umbrella several times. I highly recommend this bird hospital.

I have total confidence in the staff and in particular Dr. Speer. They are very professional, friendly, informative, non-judgmental (yes, I can do better with my bird's diet) and although I live far from the hospital, it was, and is, totally worth the trip. If your bird needs special care this is definitely the place to go.

I call to make an appointment for my injury bird and the receptionist Is the first person to told me that she doesn’t understand my English , then I repeat it 3 times that I would like to make an appointment for my bird when she “understands my English” immediately She sounds like I can’t pay for their services when she told me that theIr prices are higher, and I asked her politely even though I was getting mad at her racist tone, if they accept a financial assistance grant? Because my bird received one for a thousand dollars for his treatment. she was silent for a few seconds and then she told me that no only they accept cash or a credit card and also she told me that if I have that thousand dollars on a credit card she could make me an appointment Sometimes people like her make businesses close their doors.

I had a good experience with my first visit.The Dr. spent a good amount of time with me to go over treatment before and after the visit. Very friendly and competent. I would surely recommend Medical Center for Birds to anyone!
