The lady who cleans the dog set clean area. Is very rude and unprofessional. Lost business here for sure.

The staff at this Petco is incredibly friendly and helpful, they have a good set of options for all things pet related and the location is nice, Trader Joe’s nearby and other shops and such.

I love this place! They have really helpful staff-very knowledgeable. I had a serious problem with my new kitten goung potty on my bed and freaking out when ID place her in her letter box. So thankfully I went to unleashed because they just happen to have exactly what I needed. A litter with faramone that attracts kittys to litter box regardless

The store had a very bad odor to it. I went to get my dog's nails clipped but they do not do it at this location. It would have been so helpful if I could have known this before going and I would have planned accordingly. Also FYI you need proof of update shot record.

Dog leash waaay too big.

Only place that had slip leads in the whole East Bay, after calling 7+ places. Friendly staff too!

I do like Petco, but the store on Lakeshore lacks service.

I was greeted at the door by a staff member. Help me with finding what I wanted, check me out at the cashier. I was in and out in less than 5 minutes. Great customer service!

Customer service always pleasant. The item I buy the most is their bulk kitty litter, it's by far the best and at a really good price . I've tried others and just keep going back.

Staff seemed inconvenienced by questions, had no knowledge of their products. Overall, unless you know exactly what you want and call ahead (do not trust their website), I would recommend going elsewhere. The petfood express on Piedmont Ave is excellent.

The staff at lakeshore and piedmont are great. My puppy walks right in and straight to the register because she already knows she's going to get butt scratches and snacks haha They're always really friendly and quick to help. Sometimes what the website says they have in-stock at a store is not correct so I've learned to call ahead and double check.

A small but great pet store located in a very convenient location. You can get most supplies for dogs and cats such as food, water and food dishes, crates, cat little, various toys, treats, you name it. The location even has a machine that will etch identification tags for your furry friend. The store employees are a wonderful help and are more than willing to help you locate whatever it is you need. When I last visited, during the day on a week day, it was not too busy and am awesome employee helped me work the etching machine for my new adopted canines tag. We then were able to pick up the new identification tags along with pet food, a crate, treats, and toys all in one stop. Later we had to return an item and the store employees made it very simple and helped us right away with no questions asked. Great place and location for all your let needs!

Very nice clean store with wide variety of natural dog/cat foods, toys, carriers. They also have some dog training groups, but with Covid 19 people might be too fearful. We really need to support these small businesses. If they die out, we'll have a dangerous neighborhood.

Over priced no one at all offered to help me and the stock is low on what they do have and very limited selections

Very fun store and employees were ever patient with my little yappy guy. They helped me harness him and her his tag engraved. Wonderful staff great place

Honestly, I truly loved the new pet that I bought in your shop last week. The staff was very helpful, kind, and careful. Eventually, they had me pick the best pet for me. The shop was clean, stylish, and pets were well-arranged. Besides, this place was perfect to consult, ask service, and buy pets. I mean, everything here was nice. Others must visit!

They have excellent cat litter! After being ignored by staff some months back and received apology and one free cat litter for being ditzed by staff (and that was all), I am happy to continue to go get my cat litter there. The rest of supplies I purchase elsewhere. Hopefully, you'll have a much better experience there!

As last long as you can find parking, then this store is a quick in and out.

Worst experience ever. We went to this branch to get a self wash around 6pm. (they close at 7pm.) People in the store told us they need to clean the self wash area before close, so no self wash after 5:30pm. That's fine and they told us we can come in the morning around 10am when they open. So we did. But when we were there around 10am, different people in the store told us we can't do self wash until 10:30 because they need to clean the self wash area. Ok. So we wait 30 mins and get the wash done, and that's when they told us we cannot use the hair dryer/water blower because of the COVID-19 situation. That's ridiculous because, (1) we had a self wash and used the hair dryer/water blower two weeks ago in the Unleashed in Alameda, (2) there is no sign in the store saying we cannot use hair dryer, the clerk also waited until the last minute to tell you that, (3) why would people pay money to do a self wash if there is no hair dryer/water blower, might as well just do it at home.

I love taking my puppy Hazel for puppy social. We signed up for puppy class and really learned alot!!! Great people!!! Really skilled trainers!! LOVE THIS PLACE!

Over budget for us. Do like the bath area.
