Mr John did a great job grooming my bichon-poodle mix dog. Usually, dog groomers give him a poodle cut and make him like a goat. Mr. John listened carefully and saw the pics I showed him and made him just like i wanted. He was very kind to my little dog and i really appreciate his attitude. Highly recommend

Foye at Mr John is wonderful with anxious dogs and your pup will come home looking beautiful! Let them know if you do not want them to use shampoo with fragrance..i brought my own for our pup with allergies.

I’ve been meaning to write this review for awhile. I started taking my 15 year old dog who hates getting his nails trimmed to Mr. John about a year ago after my tenants told me how patient he was and what a great job he did grooming their dog. I can only say that after 14 years of struggling my dog is finally in confident and capable hands! The experience, love and kindness that Mr. John shares with each animal either human or canine is above and beyond! Thank you for being apart of our neighborhood-we are truly Blessed ????

I love this place, Floyd is absolutely the best. They provide great service and they treat your pets as if they are all family. Highly recommended for pet grooming, ask for Floyd and tell him Michael set you.

Thoroughly disappointed. I had high hopes for this place after reading the reviews, but my dog’s cut is terrible. Incredibly uneven and choppy. Not only that, but it was a 6 hour wait for her. The groomer was very nice and friendly which makes me even sadder because I hoped to leave a different review. Not only that, but it was $80. I was taken aback a bit by this price after seeing how she turned out. Not sure I will be bringing my dog back here.

We tried 5 other groomers in the area with great disappointment before finding Mr. Johns. Our search is over. They listened to what we wanted and did an amazing job! Our dog looks great!!!

It was a very pleasant experience and the dog came back happy.

My wheaten scottish terrier came back without his collar and cut like a westie. I've been here 3 times- the first time he got a bad cut because he was a skittish puppy, second time he got a vaguely scottie cut and behaved much better. The third time he came back with his beard cut unevenly and they took off his entire skirt that we'd been trying to grow out for months and months. I'm not happy, my dog looks silly and it's going to take months to grow out. Do not go here if you need a particular breed cut for your dog, they won't be able to tell what breed it is.

I can’t express how grateful I am to have found this place! My dog had a really bad hot spot due to mated fur and was unable to get any appointments anywhere else. They were able to schedule me in the same day! When I arrived, the staff was super friendly and helpful! We took our dog in in the morning and was out by noon. Prices were very reasonable! Will be making this my go-to grooming spot for all my pets!

This is more of a 3.5. It's a solid place that is very reasonably priced. It won't wow you, but won't disappoint either. They also seem to take good care of the dogs which is paramount.

Wonderful people kind to humans and our doggie who comes home looking beautiful and happy.

I miss Mike! He was a great groomer who sheduled my dog on Saturdays no matter how busy the shop would be that day. And even if my dog's grooming was a bit time consuming and difficult.

Love this place! New owners are great! Been taking my dogs here for 10 years. Never had a problem. The new owners are so sweet and fantastic. Really happy because I was worried, and they have proven to be just fantastic. So happy!

Always a top-notch job. And my dog loves her spa day at Mr. John's.

The owner here is amazing--sweet and gentle with my pup. I live down the street and bring my bulldog mix puppy in to have his nails trimmed once a month. He's always super friendly and manages to squeeze us in for a quick clip, no matter how busy he is. $10 and 5 minutes tops.

I’ve recently moved and wanted to find a groomer closer to my home even though I was really happy with my last groomer. Since this place had such great reviews, I figured I’d give it a try. John was so friendly and likable (otherwise I’d give 1 star) but his grooming and time management was horrible. I dropped off my dog at 10 am and he said to be back by 4 for pick up (Wow that’s a long time). I arrived just after 4 and my dog’s grooming hadn’t even started. He said come back in 20 min. I figured that wasn’t long enough so I came back in 40. My dog was just finished and at first looked beautiful but once I got into the car, I noticed I had dog hair all over me. I have a toy poodle so this never happens. For some reason the hair that John cut was still on my dog. Never experienced that. What’s worse was the haircut. Wow it was bad.... long pieces on his tail and belly and his ears were totally cut unevenly. I was shocked how poor this was. Really a disappointment. I’ll have to go back to my old place across town.

Mr. John's was terrific. Very patient, wonderful with the dogs, tons of detailed attention, and a calm & soothing demeanor while working with the pups. They look great, and left with tails wagging.

Wonderful groomer, I've taken three generations of schnauzers to Mr. John and have never been disappointed. The business has a new owner and the service continues to be excellent. I recently took my standard schnauzer to be groomed and the new owner did a very good job!

I have brought three foster dogs here. Two they did a wonderful job with, and the third was just not able to be handled ( at the vet they had to use a muzzle and catch pole.) We adopted a GSD three months ago and they performed their usual magic on my German shedder. They did an outstanding job on a flat coated retriever foster whose coat was so matted it was a dead loss. This 8 year old looked like a puppy afterward.

Gomez, my daughter's Havenese, who doesn't like the water and really doesn't like the dryer, LOVES Debbie at Mr. John's. He comes all the way from Sacramento to be groomed. These are very special people.
