I’m so happy I found this shop! Jackie is always so friendly, helpful and knowledgeable. She happily answers all of my questions (until I run out of questions!). She cares about the health of my dog and has a natural, healthy approach to dog care, grooming and diet. The shop is always clean, tidy and has just what I need to care for my yorkie!

DONT TAKE YOUR PRECIOUS DOG HERE!! Would leave zero stars if possible. Extremely disappointing, upsetting, and overpriced grooming experience. I also saw them without masks inside which is very frightening with the rising cases in LA. One employee didn’t have a mask at all and was the main employee interacting with me. It was very scary. They did the opposite of what I asked and would not do the correct work. I asked for a very short face trim and to leave her body hair long enough for sun protection and they shaved her body down and left her face fur very long like a bobble head. They kept my dog from 1pm till after 6pm for this horrible grooming. She was locked in a dirty crate on the ground in a very hot building with large loose dogs able to come up and terrify her even though I was assured she would be in an area away from other dogs. I was also told she would be ready in two hours and she was not ready for over 5 hours. They quoted me 35-60$ and charged me over $70 even after not doing the correct job or fixing it. I called and left a message asking for another booking to fix her face fur as that is the only reason I do grooming and really need it for my dogs well being as her food gets stuck in mouth fur and they did not answer or return any of my calls. The absolute worst and most devastating part was the trauma they did to my dog. She was visibly traumatized after leaving this groomer for OVER A DAY. My dog has never reacted like this to a groomer before. She was shaken, afraid, hiding, and timid when we got home from the groomer and stayed that way for another day. It was so heartbreaking to see. I am so scared to think of what they did to her to cause her to feel so fearful for so long after her appointment. Please save your dog and take them to a different establishment.

My Shih Tzu Mischu was extremely sick with a yeast infection, from years of following a traditional dog diet. He was in very bad shape, and our lifelong veterinarian was unable to do anything to stop - let alone reverse the damage. The yeast took over his entire body, literally coming out of every pore on his body. He was absolutely miserable. Enter Jacqui and Animalia! She understood right away what was ailing Mischu and gave him a whole new diet to follow and special deep-cleaning baths to heal his skin. I won't lie, it took some time...but it worked! Mischu is a happy 12 year-old puppy again, with a healthy coat of hair that's entirely yeast-free! Every time I bring him in, he gets super excited to see the person responsible for his amazing turnaround. I highly recommend Animalia to every pet owner. If I could give them SIX stars, I would - thank you Jacqui and everyone at Animalia for saving Mischu's life!!

The owner is extremely nice very helpful tells you what you need to do to help your pet live longer. Right food for them to eat. Also does pet grooming.

Never called a place so rude in my life. Thought it would be so convenient since it’s less than 5 minutes away. Nope.

My Boyfriend and I came to Jacqui, the owner of Animalia, in desperation after finding out our 4 year old pug/chihuahua had been suffering from kidney failure due to massive kidney stones. The only option the horrible vet gave us was to perform an expensive surgery. We were ecstatic to hear Animalia NoHo was a holistic pet nutrition store so we had to make the drive to see what it was all about. What we came to learn from Jacqui was because we were cooking our dogs food for 3 years, is the reason why her system got gunked up. We thought we were giving her the best nutrition by cooking brown rice, chicken, peas, spinach and carrots. Not so much the case. Cooking her food was taking out any of the nutrition for her body to absorb. And using brown rice as a filler wasnt so great. SO our dog has been switched to an all raw diet. We purchase raw green tripe from Jacqui at Animalia. As well as an all natural kidney stone breaker supplements. After 3 months of working with Jacqui our dogs kidney failure symptoms disappeared and after getting x-rays done her kidney stones were shrinking! Bottom line, Jacqui does an extensive amount of research and is extremely knowledgeable. She really cares for your pet and will listen to all of your concerns. Her heart truly breaks for an animal who is suffering. She's not your typical store owner who is trying to make a sale. I see Jacqui every two weeks and we always end up talking for an hour before she realizes I need to buy more food for my pup! Jacqui has become a genuine person who I deeply value and respect. If you truly love your pet and see them as one of your children, do yourself a favor and take them to see Jacqui. Even just a consultation can open your eyes to extending your fur baby's life. Also, a holistic nutritious life for your pet is NOT as expensive as you might think it is. We've actually saved a lot of money

This place is wonderful! I brought my Shih Poo here for grooming and she hasn’t looked this great since she was a puppy! Not only that, she was so happy and calm when I picked her up. I could tell immediately that she was in good hands. Jacqui is so nice and warm. Everything there is A+ quality. I’m not going anywhere else for pet supplies or grooming from now on.

My experience was great. I’ve switched to a recommended dog food and my dog is doing so much better. I’ve already recommended two other families to bring their dogs. The owner is very kind and attentive. It’s a little far for me, but I will definitely go back.

I’m so impressed with the dental cleaning by the beautiful Micaela, that just took 20 min with no anesthesia and the price is totally worth it. Jackie has told me about this and advised me for years on how to keep my dog in the best health. I love this place!

I LOVE this place! I was so impressed by the owner Jacqui and her knowledge and love for animals. She is totally holistic, really knows her stuff and is so compassionate and passionate about what she does. An animals nutrition is everything for her. It’s inspiring to be around people who really love what they do and know that you will be getting great treatment. I can’t wait for my dog to have a teeth cleaning and spa bath! We bought the homemade pork treats with blueberries and my dog is obsessed. He also loves the chicken with apple sauce and coconut. So innovative! I’m happy I’m stumbled upon this place :) so was my dog.

They are amazing! Extremely friendly. They care about your animal, and your animal's health. Ms Jacqui has a load of resources for whatever you need and she's willing to do research or help solve your problem. I will never go anywhere else!

The owners are so friendly and giving! Caring animal lovers. They recommended a brand and gave us samples when we were trying to switch to natural food for our Pom.

The owner of the store is one of the most knowledgeable and helpful people I have ever met about pet care for my best friend. She is always there with a warm smile, great knowledge and a true passion for animals. She is the perfect example of what a small business who is taking on the "big box" stores should be. Warm, open, friendly, helpful and passionate about what she does! You will never go wrong or get bad information! :-)

We need more people in the world like Jackie. She really opened my eyes while I was in the store about dog food and treats. She only carries food that is natural and healthy in the store. At first it seems like just a small store, but she doesn't carry ANYTHING that is harmful for your pet. Being an American I get how people think more is more, but it isn't. Less is more in this store because it is everything you NEED for your pets health from someone who is not only knowledgable, but caring. We started talking a little bit about my pup and how she is suffering from anxiety since we moved cross-country. She gave me a therapeutic sample to try for her. This woman is above and beyond. I will no longer be buying from Petco. She has brought back a faith in humanity by opening this store and I will continue to support her.
