Dog Republic is amazing! Everyone there has the best energy and you can sense it when you see how excited your dog is to go back the next day! Whether it be a pack walk or boarding your dog will be jumping up and down when they are on their way!! All the pack walkers really care and truly give your dog the best workout! While engaging with other pups and learning how to walk with the pack!

Dog Republic is so great! We use them regularly for pack walks and my dog just loves them. All of the employees are friendly, great with dogs and professional. Since my dog is a puppy, I love that she is getting a good walk, getting a little extra training by being with someone else and other dogs and that it’s fun for her. Dog Republic is a one-stop shop. I have used their day care, overnight boarding and grooming. All are fantastic and they take such great care of your pup. I highly recommend them!

We visited their facility and it reminded us of jail with over 50 dogs in a small yard. No toys or anything else. We then tried them for their famous walks. The pick up was great and we were promised their will walk my dog for at least an hour. My dog has a GPS so I was able to teach her activity fir the afternoon. Basically, she was gone for 2.5 hours and was walked for 35 minutes. That is, for almost 2 hours she was driven in a can while they picked up and dropped many other dogs. I think they can get away with it since no one can actually know what they are doing (unless your dog has a GPS device). Stay away from them! I saw the response of the company and want to clarify. I have a GPS device on my puppy and I have a map with time stamps. The puppy was walked for a total of 21 minutes total. I am happy to give the data to the owners.

We take our German Sheppard Axel there for pack walking and day camp. They do an excellent job with him and send us an email letting us know how he did for the day. The staff is great with him and are really nice. They have a cage-free environment that is great for the dogs. We have also boarded him there for a week and he loved it. Great place to take your dog!

Had an initial meeting with Kevin at the LA spot and he was great. Very knowledgeable and great with my Shepherd. We will be back and part of the pack.

We had adopted Coco, our little pit/lab/dachshund mix, from the shelter back in January. She is great with people, but with other dogs was another story. She was extremely fearful and would bark non-stop if any dog would get near her. Our trainer, Vladae from So Cal Dog Training, recommended that we take her to Dog Republic to help with her socialization. When I brought her in for the initial temperament evaluation, I'll admit that I was a little nervous that she wouldn't get in because of her fear and anxiety around other dogs since it is a cage free environment. I met with Kevin and he said that Coco was indeed a special case, but he assured me that they would take her in and would be able to help her. I signed up on the spot and enrolled Coco for day camp and obedience sessions with Kelly twice a week. Now, here we are, three weeks and 7 obedience sessions in, and I swear this isn't the same dog. Coco is walking with and and even playing with other dogs! She has calmed down a ton and the barking has stopped. She is definitely a more confident pup now. The progress has been amazing to watch. They send pictures and videos of her at camp, and I can't help but to share and show everyone... So proud! Thank you Dog Republic for giving Coco a chance and helping her out of her shell. We're so grateful for everything that you guys do! ❤️

Maggie (8 years old) and Chase (2 years old), both golden retrievers, LOVE Dog Republic, the pack walks as well as the "inn". The DR folks are very competent and truly seem to love their jobs. We love DR.!

People who work with dogs should actually like dogs and be kind. I have a 13 year old 4 pound Yorkie who is blind and partially paralyzed (which was disclosed) but very sweet. When we tried to make a follow up appointment the man said my dog was too difficult because she can’t stand up properly (she’s sorry, but she really can’t.) He was kind of a jerk about it and increased the rate for both my dogs, even though my other dog can stand up just fine. I’ve attached the confirmation- he actually named my dog Trixie Difficult. I am happy to pay an extra fee, but obviously they lack compassion for an old disabled pup, so it’s not a good fit for us.

Our spaniel LOVES his Dog Republic days. He tears out the door in the morning to greet his walkers. Keep up the excellent work!

Me and the ‘ol rascal moved to Newport a year and a half ago and have been looking for a significant and reliable daycare/boarding company. Here ye, here ye, we have found the greatest service/walker in all of ye land. Michelle Brookes has given my young (but big [lab]) boy the exercise he needs while I’m working. Can’t thank Dog Republic enough for making it a legitimate possibility to have a pup down here in the concrete jungle.

We have been sending our three rescue labs to camp at Dog Republic ever since they opened. The owner, Kevin Burke is personable and makes this a very special place for all kinds of dogs to socialize, have fun, get exercise or even board and be groomed if you need that too. It is such a great service that has their walkers and vans personally pick up our dogs at our home and drop them off in the afternoon or half day if you prefer. Everyone who works there loves dogs just like we do and takes extra care to make sure every dog has their shots and is well cared for. We wouldn't consider sending our pups anywhere else and highly recommend them to anyone in town who is looking for a great place to send their pet. Their boarding house is so clean and a warm and inviting atmosphere. You can go see it for yourself as some owners prefer to drop their dogs off there and pick them up. Many dogs wait eagerly at the front door to go to camp. They absolutely love it. The stimulating environment is so healthy for them and wide open area for them to run around is a dog's dream come true. Check them out. You will be glad you did! Honestly, my dog loves going here. Michelle Brookes is our favorite walker, she is so friendly and my dog Chanel looks forward to seeing her every week. Highly recommend for your furry friend.

Our lab mix, Charlie, went regularly to Dog Republic for 2 years. The team (especially Kelly, Daniel, and Camila) really took the time to get to know Charlie's quirks and to adjust his care accordingly (he's kind of a grumpy old man at this point, who wants to shake his paw at the puppies on his lawn). And Charlie LOVED them!! He was always ready to get out of the car and get some lovin' from them; he never even looked back at me. We moved up to the Bay Area recently and I think poor Charlie is pretty confused. He's like, "where are my PEOPLE!?". The owner, Kevin, was always personable and easy to get in touch with. You can tell he has a natural talent with both dogs and people. You and your pup are incredibly lucky to find Dog Republic. We were.

I am very disturbed at what I witnessed a little while ago at a park in Costa Mesa. This guy is walking a pack of dogs. I had just returned to My vehicle and was looking at him and the dogs and one of the dogs he was walking a pitbull barked at a women with her small dog. All of a sudden I hear these cries and see this guy pulling him from what looked like the back of the neck and threw him to the ground! The dog was crying in pain! The women and small dog had already left, and he continued causing pain to this dog and The screams from that dog were heartbreaking . I jumped out of my car and screamed stop hurting him. Republic dog if all your trainers are taught this abusive method of training you should be reported!. If u care... the description of this guy is thin and long light Brown hair. He told me he was trying to get control of the situation... Only problem is he continued this abuse long after the other small dog and his owner had left.

Elise VVVVVVVV please learn dog behavior. It clearly wasn't as bad as you say, by the sound of your exaggerations. Let me ask you this, what happens when you don't tell a big pit bull, lets say, to not go after a little dog? THE DOG WILL GET PUT DOWN IF HE GETS LOOSE ONE TIME, let alone the owner being sued. There is a difference between letting the dog know that that behavior is unacceptable and being abusive. Stop acting like a typical orange county mom that thinks animals are human beings and that you know everything about dogs. Let PROFESSIONALS handle the dogs, they are TRAINED, are you? I'm a dog trainer and I have observed Dog Republic more than most on this thread and they are one of the best companies, regarding dog walking services and training in Southern California. They ARE trained, you VVVV elise, are not. Every owner has their dog back, including mine, tired and more well behaved than the last time. This company is worth every penny, so to you elise, I suggest you go on your daily walks and report people parking over lines, or whatever it is that you do. Stop bagging on a great company that gets dogs out instead of them sitting inside all day, because people have to work.
