Second surgery in three years for my rescue and Dr. K has performed miracles. First surgery was after being hit by a car and one wouldn't know he had been gravely injured!

I’ve been going to Back Bay for over 15-17 years. The produce is usually pretty fresh and they always have new items. You can always find what you’re looking for easily. All the people that work there constantly have a smile on their face and are quick to help you if you ever need anything. Good work Pavilions

Dr Farnous and his team are absolutely wonderful! I had an emergency with my pup and he was kind enough to squeeze me in before the weekend and was so great with my dog! I just wish they were a little closer to me! Highly recommend. Thank you BBVH!!

We've been coming here for about 20 years. Dr. K is the very best and Dr Fanous is just as amazing. Our old girl is always in great hands. They also work their hardest to keep costs down for you. They are always up front and honest about what things are going to cost. They are very transparent.

Impossible to make an appointment on the same day. If my dog is sick I have to go to the emergency.

Drove an hour from Corona to Newport Beach to get 1st rate care for our injured cat. Local veterinarians (Corona, Norco, Riverside) couldn't/wouldn't see our cat for a leg injury. Ended up going to a "Corporate, Chain Vet" in Ontario. THEY WERE EXTREMELY OVER PRICED and did not give me confidence in their ability to treat my cat with a positive outcome! They recommend that we amputate our cats leg. Made a couple phone calls to Back Bay Veterinarian Hospital. Their surgeon was attending a veterinarian conference in Idaho, they emailed my cats X-rays and file to the Dr. while he was at the conference. The Dr. Called me back and told me it would be a mistake to amputate our cats leg! He put my mind at ease and gave me confidence in his diagnosis and him and repaired our cats leg! The staff at Back Bay Veterinary and Dr. K are 1st rate!

My husband and I had an appointment to put our very sick cat to sleep. We were both absolute wrecks. But the staff were respectful and courteous. I hadn't noticed while we were there (my eyes were focused on our baby boy), but my husband told me that he could see that the vet was tearing up. In that moment, I knew that he truly cared, and that mattered so much.

My granddaughters puppy needed a bath and a clipping. We always bring him to Back Bay Veterinary. This time when we pulled up, one of the woman from the clinic was walking out pup, which thrilled my granddaughter to know he got out and exercised even during the short visit for a bath. We will continue to bring our little guy back for all his puppy vet and grooming needs.

Seriously amazing staff. My cat couldn’t get in anywhere else for surgery and I called here (it’s a 4 hour drive from me) and they got him in 2 days after I called for surgery and pushed him ahead. I was so grateful. They were fast and responsive and so so kind. The doctor who performed my cats surgery was hilarious! My kitty is recovering so nicely, and we’re so glad to have him back in our home town now :)

Lovely place, dr fanous even in our brief chat seems a stand up fellow. Taking good covid precautions there so you wait in your car and they bring your animal in.

During Covid, they have parking stalls with numbers. You call them and let them know who you are while giving them your stall number. A vet tech comes out, does a general meet and greet, then takes your fur baby into the building where the vet checks them out and gives recommendations for treatment. Then either the vet tech comes back out to give the recommendations and pricing or the vet comes out and explains everything then sends the vet tech out with the pricing. Then you get to decide if they proceed. Once they are finished, they bring your baby out with your total, you give them your card, and they come back out with your receipt. I personally think it's a lot of extra work and a lot of moving parts but, they seem to have a system in place. Before, I could get in and out with a vaccine appointment in about 30 min total. Now it takes a solid 45 min to an hour. Just be prepared to be sitting in your car for an extended period of time. The service is great and would still recommend. They also deserve commendation for their hard work and dedication for keeping the customers and staff safe during Covid.

Great personal service and exceptional animal care. However do not ever board a dog here! Someone I know boarded their dog at this facility and it was loose and ran away never to be found!!!
