Dr. Johnson and his Veterinary team are excellent. They are compassionate professional group of dedicated individuals who really care about people and their pets Health. They're supportive and readily available. They go over and Beyond to help each and every pet that I've seen including my own two cats for over 8 years. My cat's health is benefited by the care of Rheem Veterinary Clinic. Thank you!

Dr. Johnson is hands down the most caring and kindest vet we’ve ever seen. He’s one of those that is not there for the money but for the people and animals and loves what he does. The prices are extremely reasonable.

Huge fans of the veterinary services. They're always helpful and have taken AMAZING care of our furry family (dogs and cats) for several years now. Highly recommend them without reservation.

I have two German Shepherds, Ruby and Max. Both of them are very shy. Brought them over to Rheem Veterinary about a week or so ago. Dr Johnson was super friendly and patient. He even brought Max out of the room to give him vaccine so that my kids didn't need to watch. Love it!!!

Dr. Johnson and Molly are terrific! They’ve treated two of our animals, and I really feel like they know what they’re doing. Very professional. Prices are fair, too!

I would never dream of taking my pets to any other vet. Drs. Johnson is everything you could ask for in a vet - caring, empathetic, gentle, competent and wise.

This place came highly recommended by a few people who foster rescues for being low cost. But be careful. I took my cat here about a year ago for an abscess and he came back unable to walk from an injury that happened while in their care. They put him in a glass tank for anesthesia and they told me he was able to break the glass and cut his back legs. They had to give him over 30 stitches, but he still could not walk. Dr. Johnson at Rheem insisted it was a nerve injury. He did not offer any xrays or other diagnostic imaging. He opted to do open surgery on my cat to see if there was a tendon problem. He ended up putting steel sutures in the tendon because it was “more lax” than the other side. He still insisted there was no broken tendon and that my cat’s inability to walk was due to a nerve injury. I took my cat to another vet to try to rehabilitate the “nerve injury” and to my surprise they told me it was an orthopedic injury and referred me to an orthopedic surgeon who confirmed the diagnosis. My cat needed to get reconstructive surgery from the specialist for a severed tendon. The most infuriating part is that Dr. Johnson opened my cat’s leg up again and still insisted this was a nerve injury and not a tendon injury. How could that have been mistaken? I want to believe that it is the truth, but I just cannot. As a result my cat did not get the reconstructive surgery he needed until a month later because I actually believed him that it was a nerve injury. Now although my cat can walk again due to the expensive reconstructive surgery with the specialist who was great, my cat does still have permanent damage to his legs. During the few months it took for him to be rehabilitated, he lost a lot of muscle mass and he still favors the leg that was less hurt which means to me that there is discomfort or pain. So please beware when bringing your pet here. Mistakes and accidents happen anywhere, but to misdiagnose the injury as something that has no treatment (nerve injury) when in reality it is a tendon injury which can be treated, is unacceptable. It was a surgery that cannot be done by a general practitioner vet. It requires an orthopedic surgeon specialist. And perhaps this influenced the misdiagnosis. I cannot say for sure, but it sure does seem suspicious.

Go somewhere else if you value the health of your pet. We really wanted to support a local business and everyone there seems nice, but the care they provide is inadequate. We took our dog there earlier this year since he was loosing weight, had diarrhea, and trouble urinating. They claimed they ran urine, fecal, blood tests, and x-rays and that everything looked fine. Months later the problems persisted so we went to another vet who actually ran the tests and found signs of cancer. We’ve been trying for weeks to get the test results from Rheem but they’ve provided nothing. Now we’re just wishing we would have gone somewhere legitimate so we could have started treatment sooner.

Wonderful "old school" vet clinic. Dr. Johnson cares about the animals and he is also experienced and knowledgable. He never focuses on "upcharging" and is not owned by a corporation. I drive 35 minutes from my home to get to his clinic, even though we have several vet clinics close by. He's the best :)

Excellent, old school veterinarian takes his time to properly diagnose and treat his patients and explain things to their humans.

not happy with the fact my dog has a itch and instead of treating it wanted to do surgery on him without checking if his heart could take it

I've been coming here for 30 years and I've always been treated with the most professional manner. I can easily recommend Rheem Veterinary.

Have you ever seen a dog excited to go to the vet? I have! My dog loves coming here, which is quite surprising. We have 3 cats and a dog that all see the vets here. Everyone is so nice, the vet assistants have patience to help us with our cats nails. So thankful to have a great local vet.
