Dawg Gone It Monterey, California

I have used them twice and feel 100% confident in leaving my dog there. Our dog has anxiety and some other issues that make it a challenge to leave him when we go out of town. He is dog reactive, hates kids, you get the picture. This most recent time I used Dawg Gone It I picked him up and he was happy as could be, and I could tell he had a good time. Before when we'd left him anywhere he would be so scared and different afterward. I recommend Dawg Gone It to anyone and can sleep well at night whenever my dog is in their care!

Max has been staying at Dawg Gone It everyday for two years now. And, I honestly have to say they are as attentive to his needs and happiness as I am. He loves Dawg Gone It so much that he wants to go back after I pick him up. Thank you all for all you do for our puppies.

They watched our 2 dogs while we went camping. Everything seemed fine. The only thing is the price. Since this was the first time using a dog sitting place wasn't sure what to expect. But will use them again when needed. Especially since they are one of the few that will still watch our dogs.

My husband has been working in Monterey for over 6m and we wanted to bring our puppies with us to visit him however, the hotel he usually books does not allow pets. I found Dawg Gone It in a google search and booked them for a 2 night stay. Check in is after 3pm and we dropped them around 5:30pm (30 mins before they closed). Because we wanted to bring our pups with us to sightsee and explore the area we took them out for a few hours during the day then brought them back for their overnight stay and they accommodated us in this with no issues. I was a little apprehensive leaving them in an overnight boarding facility but the staff are very nice and professional and I truly felt like they looked after our babies exceptionally well during their stay. Parking lot is spacious and makes drop off a breeze. The price per night is unbeatable and we were very grateful they could book us in on short notice. Definitely recommend using them for your stay in the area and we plan to use them again in the future!

They always do great with my dogs!

I have boarded my two beagles here several times over the years. I took a tour of the place before I left them for the first time and was impressed by the overall cleanliness, security and bright and happy atmosphere of this facility. I feel 100% confident that my dogs are safe when they are staying at Doggone It in Monterey. The staff is polite and friendly, follow my feeding instructions carefully (one of my dogs was older and had some special needs) and my dogs are so happy when I pick them up. I highly recommend Doggone It to anyone looking for a great place for their dogs to stay for daycare or overnight boarding.

I love them. My dog comes back so happy after his doggy vacation here. We have left him here approximately 4 times and they have been very affordable as well as very friendly to our dog. We can tell they love him and treat him with carenes :) It also wasn’t a headache putting him for the first time there in comparison to other places, all we had to do is hang over was our vet number and they took care of everything else.

Another great success when leaving our dog in boarding, very genuine and loving. The customer service that I received from the first phone call until I went to pick my baby. Want to give you a big shout out and that we will be back anytime we’re within a 50 mile radius. Thank you again

Awesome place, the girls there were awesome and friendly. Very knowledgeable and my dog as soon as I got there.

When we drive up to Dog Gone It the dogs get so excited and their tails are wagging as fast as they can. We know they have fun and are cared for, we particularly like the fact that if there’s the slightest thing off, like a lamp, they call us immediately. We couldn’t be more pleased.

These folks are wonderful, and my dog is a handful. Communicative, committed, caring. They are lovely. Couldn't recommend them more highly.

absolutely fantastic. Our dog was taken very good care of. I truly appreciated the report card after we picked him up. And a list of activities and add-ons we could give him made me feel very confident in the overnight stay. I was very grateful to find this place and was not disappointed when I picked our dog up. Showed up today to drop off dogs. First time there. Didn't have shots up to date. We were headed to San Francisco. It would have been so much more stressful but for the kind calm receptionist that helped us come up with a plan. Quick trip to SPCA and back. We are now on our way to SF! All the staff were so kind to our dogs. Update: on the way over the Golden gate our tour bus broke. They kept the dogs another night. So little stress

Our Aussie, Gus, seemed to have enjoyed his stay at Dawg Gone It more than our previous arrangements via Rover. He stayed for a day and a half. I think it was $35-40 for one night and then an additional $10 per hour of group play time. Although I wish these types of services we're included in the stay, they did provide a long list of a variety of services at different price points and packages. The staff also shared a couple of stories about Gus' stay when we came in to pick him up, which was nice and personal.
