I adopted a rescue dog, Hutch, and they saw me within a day of my appointment request. Once I brought my sweet boy to them, they gave him nothing but love and explained each measure of care they gave him. I am so grateful to have found a vet with such empathy and expert treatment. I couldn't recommend Aguajito Veterinary Hospital with more enthusiasm

I simply called and asked a question regarding pet service and the receptionist was so rude she simply Answered “No we don’t offer those services and hung up” I have NEVER BEEN TREATED LIKE THIS AT A VET! CUSTOMER SERVICE IS KEY TO A SUCCESSFUL BUSINESS PLEASE TREAT OTHERS WITH RESPECT.

Great and efficient customer service! I had just moved to town and my pup looked like he had an infection on his paw that he would not stop licking. I called Aguajito Vet and they didn’t have any available appointments the next day, but they were so accommodating and let me drop him off in the morning for a standby appointment. He was seen and ready to be picked up in less than two hours!

Find a new vet. While the front desk staff are very nice, the vet herself is one of the most unprofessional people I've ever encountered. I'm not an unreasonable person, so it blew my mind when she literally hung up on me. There's a power gap when you're concerned for your fur-baby (particularly with drop off appts, when you can't even see them). Only in retrospect do I realize I allowed myself to be bullied because I was afraid for the well-being of my pup. Find a new vet. Edit: to be clear, I asked, politely, whether I needed an international travel certification for a flight to Chicago. At no time did I ask for something illegal. Doc, don't try and excuse your behavior by saying I was trying to make you do something unethical.

Excellent service. Staff is kind and professional. They have a strict Covid prevention policy which I appreciate. They ask that we Call upon arrival then they come to our car to collect our dog, to get a complete list of signs and symptoms of our dog. We appreciate this. We have been coming here for 30+ years.

Called Dr. Hofer after our Lilah broke her dew claw. Even though they were about to close in 5 minutes, she told us to head down there, which we did. Staff was extremely nice and helpful. Again even though it was after hours, each staff member we dealt with took their time with us and were very sweet to our little girl, who was in some discomfort which made her feel a ease. This isnt the first time Dr. Hofer and her staff has gone above and beyond to help us with our kiddo!

Aguajito Vet was able to take my dog, Bandit, ASAP for an emergency as he had been vomiting blood. They treated him and were so very helpful and made themselves available every step of the way. They truly understand our fur babies and how very special they are to all of us. Thank you so much Dr. Hofer and staff!

My puppy had an ear infection regular vet didn’t answer phone or respond to my messages I was referred to Aquajito Veterinary Hospital They were able to squeeze pup in treat & send me home with meds The staff were knowledgeable helpful & friendly I’ll be changing vets

I appreciate they were able to see my cat in a timely manner. They were thorough in the exam and were able to update all my cat's vaccine requirements. Very good listeners and professional. Dr Hofer was so kind and answered all my questions and concerns. Highly recommend!

Very good with my girl, Never seen her so happy to just go into the vet. Lauren was very informative and kind, She and the Dr. Answered every question I had. Never acted like I was a bother or taking to long. Thank you for being so good to Victra!

Absolutely delightful. The girls who checked my pet in were knowledgeable and chipper. Dr. Hofer made recommendations for my pets dental health, she wants to clean her teeth.. but asked to run bloodwork and X-rays. Lauren took the time to explain why everything was important and made me comfortable enough to schedule. :)

Excellent. The doctor (I'm sorry, but I forgot her name) is wonderful.

They were super busy. But took great care of my dog and me.

Switched to Aguajito Vet Hospital when Dr Hofer joined the staff. Couldn't be happier with the care my dog gets and the friendliness of the staff. The cost was much more reasonable than where we previously went and it's super easy to book an appointment online.

Loving, warm, wise, and professional. The only vet we've ever found where our boxer mix has been relaxed and unstressed. Dr. Hofer and her team are incredible. Reasonable cost for stellar care!

Today was my first visit to Dr. Hofer, my cocker spaniel has been having awful diarrhea and not eating or drinking water. She was able to squeeze me in on such short notice. She explained why she wanted to do certain things and what her findings were clearly. As someone with 4 other fur babies, I just want the best care and attention for them. It also helps that their pricing is inexpensive to what I was paying at other places. Short story is Dr. Hofer showed she really cared for my dog and I felt really safe bringing her here. I am grateful for her knowledge and compassion. Thank you, Aguajito Team!

They’re nice people. Couldn’t go in with my pet to the appt because of COVID, sure, but didnt help knowing I had no idea how my pet did. WAY overpriced. Cancelled surgical appointment. Won’t be returning.

Aquajito Veterinary Hospital able to fit us in on short notice for an exam with consult but we ultimately needed to complete a surgical procedure more quickly than they could be available so we had to use the emergency surgery clinic nearby which operates 24/7. The half-off first visit made the costs more manageable.

Dr. Hofer, Sherrett, and Edwin are a great team! I love working with them, and they are so good to my dear dalmatian, Hudson. Wonderful care, always available, so kind to the animals, and the follow up and check-ins are first class service!

We’ve been bringing our cat Diego here for 2.5 years, ever since he came to us as a stray kitten. The doctors and staff are always so kind, to us and Diego, especially Diego as he doesn't enjoy being examined or weighed. They give lots of treats. They treated him for crystals in his urine before it became kidney stones and a serious problem. We keep our eye on that with regular urinalysis. We find Aquajito to be expensive, but they may be well within competitor’s rates around the peninsula. Our little guy is worth it. We love our veterinarian!

We had an absolutely incredible experience with Aguajito Veterinary Hospital. All of the staff members including the doctor and vet tech were so knowledgeable, so caring and nice. They were wonderful with our pup, Honey and we could not say enough good things about the level of care and service received here. We will definitely be back for years to come.
