Ok so first things first it smells like dogs and urine. They are expected to do their bathroom stuff inside which my puppy learned not do early. There are people there to supervise and train which is good but not being able to go outside is a big downside

Our pup,Grace, is good with a 1 -2 week stay here & she is a very spoiled girl! Can't say one negative thing about this place. Owners are pleasant and professional, know what they are doing for these puppies!

Kevin and Brenda have rescued our family from our rescue. We love our doggy, but he does not love visitors. Luckily he has a home away at the Wonder Dog Ranch when we're out of town, or entertaining guests...and several times a week when our schedules are hectic. Luckily our dog Oslo loves it there too!

The owners, Kevin and Brenda, are so kind and knowledgable. I know my dog is in caring hands when he is there. He needs some extra care with medicine + food and they are totally willing to take care of this. The owners are so caring...taking time to talk to you about how your dog did during his stay. Love that they send you texts with updates on your dog and a picture - my dog always looks so happy....he probably gets better walks with them than at home. Have to go on a trip soon and am not stressing about it because I know they will be attentive to him and his special needs. Going above and beyond to give you extra advice/resources on our dog's health when he has been sick (taking time to look things up and print them out for you before you return from your trip!) and the vet's solution isn't working. They are not trying to be doctors - just offering some ideas on where to look for natural solutions to inflammation problems and probiotics for stomach issues that I didn't think about.

Horrible. Smells like Urine. They let the dogs pee and poop inside instead of taking them out themselves. Not comfortable leaving my animal there.

My dog Maggie and I love Wonder Dog Ranch! When I know I'll have an especially long day at work or whenever I go out of town, this is Maggie's happy place. There is plenty of room for the dogs to run and play, and they also have a lounge area for the dogs with couches and a TV, just like home. Drop off and pick up is quick and easy since they're so close to the freeway and train station. Maggie always comes home tired and happy. The staff is excellent. The dogs get constant attention under their care and I feel like they treat every dog there as if it were their own. Additionally, they generously open their doors to everyone and keep area dogs every time there is a local evacuation, and they do a lot of work in support of our local pet food bank too. Good people. I won’t leave my fur child with anyone else.

Horrible. Smelled of dog urine so bad it was like walking through an animal shelter. No fresh air in the building. My dog was stressed the entire time she was there.

It is wonderful to leave our two doxies at the Ranch and never have to worry about their care while traveling.

we have 4 dogs and visit Wonder Dog ever 4th of July. Thank you to Wonder Dog ranch for taking my 4 legged children on the holiday that bothers them the most. excellent service.

I'm giving it the 2nd star because my dogs were alive when I picked them up, I received one photo of them the day after dropping them off which helped me sleep the next 2 nights & Kevin was nice & helpful in prepping us out-of-towners for Rose Bowl Festivities. First off this is not a Ranch! There is no outside space. This is the first time my 10 & 11 year old dogs have been boarded. I about broke down leaving them when I found out there was no outside space & the warehouse they were to stay in reeked of urine. Maybe that's a California thing, but in Georgia dogs can go outside. I was already nervous about leaving them & the smell put me over the top. Knowing they would be using the bathroom inside on astro turf & in their kennels or common areas was disturbing to me. I do not want my dogs learning to go bathroom indoors anywhere! We rushed to get them on the 2nd & they were quick to go out & relieve themselves, #1 & #2 like they had been holding it a while. I was told they got 2 walks a day, but I guess that hadn't happened yet. These are east coast dogs, it was 10:30 AM their time, they needed to go! The other thing, one was extremely thirsty for about a day & a half after we picked them up. I wondered if limited water was given so they wouldn't have to potty so much. We also had to bathe them immediately. They smelled horrendous! I wasn’t driving 4 days with the smell of urine in the car. These are things I'd like to know. I now know to ask A LOT more questions of boarding facilities. This was new for me & them. I know I need to be able to leave them outside of my home, but I will definitely do my due diligence next time. Thank God they had each other for comfort.

They take such good care of my dog when we have to board him. The owners so so friendly!

Our rescued small dog was timid and fearful. With the guidance of Kevin and Brenda his personality came out of his shell. He is now fearless, thinks he's Alpha and loves to run and play ball. He is well socialized. We have him go to the Ranch to exercise at least two if not three times per week. He is always happy to go there and after longer stays is still happy to return. With the careful screening of each dog this environment is the best place I can think of for a dog home away from home!

We moved to Monrovia, and one of our biggest concerns was finding a daycare for our dog. My wife and I work long days and this makes it difficult to find a flexible dog daycare. Kevin and Brenda are obvious dog lovers and we are so glad we found them. As long as you are up front about what time your schedule dictates pick ups and drop offs they are incredibly accommodating. Our dog loves being there, and we have no reservations of having him in their care.

This is a great place to leave your doggies when away. The owner and her husband are very kind. They love animals and enjoy doing what they do. I really like the "free roam" layout of this place because the doggies are not placed in "solitary confinement" kennels, unless they don't get along with other dogs. There is also a small living room set up to simulate the feel of being in a real home. Overall great place to leave your pet and I trust them because my Labrador has never gotten injured staying here.

The owners are real dog lovers, and are careful about making sure all dogs are healthy and well-behaved. Dogs have a large group play area and also smaller kennels, and a home-like area with couches. I've never left my dogs in any dare care type place before, but this one I'm comfortable with. I was worried my dogs would feel abandoned, but when I came to pick them up, tails were wagging, and were they were happy to interact with one of the owners, Brenda, and not rushing to leave.
