Poor attitude! I called to refill my prescription 2 weeks in advance. When I went to pick up, they gave me the wrong ones. Then it took them more than 30 min to figure out. Made me wait in the parking lot and late for my next appointment. The worst thing is they don’t feel that’s their problem. I wrote the above review two weeks ago. Today I realized they left me a voice message after viewing my above review. Basically they let me know that they could release my dog's record to another vet clinic, which implies that they hope I go to a different vet hospital in the future. Very sad, that's how VCA handles their unhappy customer. So arrogant!!! I have no regret never going back again, though I would miss Dr. Najarian, he's a very good vet! Today is Wednesday Nov 17th 2021. I placed an online order yesterday at Chewy for the Simparica chewable tablet which my dog has been taking for almost one year, and it was prescribed by the doctor at VCA Santa Anita. Chewy contacted me this morning, informing me that they cannot process the order because VCA Santa Anita refused to release the prescription to them. I called VCA Santa Anita, they immediately knew why I called, and treated me very unfriendly and arrogant. They told me per their office manager, they will no long serve my account. I just want to let everyone know, this is how you will be treated if you're not happy with their service and write a negative review on them. Very pathetic!

I was disappointed. I made an appointment of vaccines and annual examination for my dog. I called them to notify them that I was at parking lot when I arrived at the appointment time. What was ridiculous that someone picked up my call and put the phone on hold after I just said “I have an appointment……” It held me LONG time and NO one else took my call, NEVER, EVER. I hung up, and wait. Even someone came out but No one would be caring to ask what you do there. So I waited and called again, that was already passed 20 mins from my appointment (phone had been being held almost 10 mins). Then someone picked up the phone again and asked me if I’d like to reschedule?! Wth mean of that? They just turned their problem of no body contacting me to my side by pointing I was not calling them back. Excuse me? “I am calling now.” Why it turned out to my problem?? I explained the whole thing to my coworkers, they were all surprised that how “hilarious” their customer service was.

Such an amazing place to bring your fur babies. I have brought my cats here since they were kittens, I now bring my GSD here. They are very caring and loving people. My girl does not have to be dragged to go inside she goes willingly with her tail wagging. I definitely recommend VCA Santa Anita for affordable care for your pets!

I waited 2.5 hours with appointment. Never got paperwork for the visit even after asking twice. They are very pricey and try to upsell.

I was very disappointed. The first time I took the kitten for an examination on 12/2, I found that there was red skin above the kitten’s eyes. I asked the female doctor several times why the red here was a skin disease. The doctor said it was okay. The second time I went to check on 12/18, the boy told me that the doctor Miss dropped here during the last check. It was suspected of tinea feline. He asked me to do a series of checkups. The checkup fee was about $206, plus other costs totaling about $600. not cheap! The key is that if the cat ringworm is detected when you come for the first inspection, it will not be serious now. I really feel that the doctor is very irresponsible. Bad reviews, will not come later.

Dr. Yakoub is great - she clearly explains everything, and answered all of my questions/concerns. I just adopted Coco a week ago and I was so worried about her shots or if she had any illnesses. After visiting VCA, I feel reassured that she is healthy and well taken care of. They were so great with my dog, she was somehow so calm with them! It's worth the 40 minute drive from LA for me!

The best animal hospital in San Gabriel valley. Our dog comes here for regular check ups and medical needs. The people here are very kind and they love our dog. When we leave our dog here, we feel safe and peaceful. When our dog had an injury on his leg a few months ago, the vet doctor did a great job on the surgery and the nurses performed flawless and professionally to take care our dog in post surgery recovery. The cost is reasonable for dog care. We bought insurance from VCA for our dog and the cost for each visit is economical. The most important thing is that this place takes care our dog so he can live a healthy live. During Covid-19, you can just park your car in the parking lot and then call in with the parking spot number. A nurse will come out and take the dog for the appointment. This is a fantastic service, keeps everyone safe.

DON'T COME here! I took my 9 year old cat here who was sick, throwing up, and not eating here. The doctor (Dr. Samuleson) who was only with my cat for 10 minutes. Claims she felt around by his badder and knew right away that he had a unrainy track blockage. To fix this it would have required invasive surgery and 3 day stay. Possibly ending up in the thousands financially. She tried to guilt trip me into a procedure that guarantees no chance of curing this problem. I thankfully took my cat out of there, got him a 2nd unbias opinion, and he is functioning like a young kitten. Please stay away from here.!

Vet visits are expensive, but this vet has always been worth the money. They are genuinely interested in helping your animals.

I rushed my sister and her beloved 19 yr. old cat, Toby, for emergency treatment. He had three seizures that morning and was in a lot of pain. They responded immediately as we were unsure if he was still alive. My sister was very distressed, but they were courteous, patient and informative. Unfortunately, my sister decided to euthanize Toby. They were very sympathetic and professional throughout our visit. May dear Toby rest in peace.

They do a great job of explaining all the care. They also take the time to develop a relationship with the dog and use methods that help the dog have less stress during his visit.
