Modesto Family Pet has taken great care of my dogs from day 1 as patients. They are always attentive and prompt with services and feedback. In particular, they have done an excellent job with my senior dog. Advising me on what treatments we should and should NOT do given his age and health. He had a very difficult year, but they managed to treat him with care and compassion throughout. He is now doing much better and I will be forever grateful to the staff for getting him there. I never felt that they were pushing unnecessary services on us, which I haven't been able to say about prior vets. I HIGHLY recommend Modesto Family Pet to anyone looking for a great Vet.

Excellent Veterinary Clinic, Nice Staff, They treated my ???? Dog Humanly to euthanize Him , I would highly recommend this Clinic to Anybody, and charge prices are reasonable.

The staff is friendly and welcoming. The Dr was kind and explained my cats condition and treatment patiently . Their prices were reasonable.

Very caring and loving environment. The doctor and their assistant takes care of the pets as if it was there’s. They tackle the issue right away. They treat the owner and their pets with respect and listens to what your pet may need. I highly recommend this place. They are caring and trustworthy place.

The staff was super patient + helpful and knowledgeable. They did a full check on my pet, even though we were there for one particular issue and Vet offered us other options as well. They also clearly have a very efficient system to enforce safety regulations. While they aren't my regular vet clinic, I am definitely making them one. Who offer you same day appointment and that too at a very affordable price. No surprise or hidden costs.

????????I called Modesto Family Pet with concerns that my sweet Terrier was having a pancreatic flareup. I was given Modesto Family Pet‘s name by my regular veterinarian’s office as they were fully booked for a while. I’m so glad they referred me to MFP because I’m choosing them as our regular vet now. When I first called MFP, I was on hold briefly but had another call come in so I had to hang up. About an hour later, I got a call from someone at MFP to check on whether my pet had gotten the care I felt she needed. That follow up alone is a game changer, from my perspective at least. Just that sense of caring was comforting. They fit me in that day, had reasonable pricing for the office visit and did not cost me an arm and a leg for the labs. The veterinarian herself is beyond awesome. She made eye contact with me, actually listened to my concerns and provided straightforward answers that put my mind at ease. Besides all that, she handled my terrier, Bailey, beautifully! The staff there is professional, genuinely caring and just an all-around good group of people. I’m permanently switching veterinarians to Modesto Family Pet for all four of my furbabies.????????????????????

Scooter has made a complete and smooth recovery. He is back to her loving, playful activities that stopped for some time. Dr. and the staff was professional, knowledgeable, kind, and courteous to Scooter and to us. She is a rare doctor which has all of those attributes that we expect. The entire staff was friendly and helpful during our visit. Place looked super clean and warm. Good job Fellas.

Best veterinary clinic for your pets care.

Under Covid protocols, Standiford Vet made me wait in their parking lot for 3hours. Staff was extremely rude. I mentioned multiple times that my dog was having seizures. Another client who was also waiting, suggested this place. We both brought our dogs here. Rick sent me information on e mail. By the time I reached there they took my dog in within three minutes. With blood work and days hospitalization and exam Dr. Patterson prescribed some medicine. My dog Scooner is back to normal. There was no hidden charges whatsoever. I love to share my experience with every body. Found the right place for my pets. The staff took all responsibility to get my records electronically from Standiford Vet.

I had visited Modesto Family Pet about a week ago and they were able to get my sick puppy in that same day. The Doctor and staff were really friendly and professional. They got me in right away and helped treat my puppy. They even did a follow up call the next day to check in, which I was very appreciative of. They truly care for your pets well being! The staff also sent me some very informative emails regarding my puppy after our visit. I will definitely be making them my regular vet as well as spreading the word around.

I wasn’t a fan of this facility. Our normal vet was closed so we came to this one. We showed up early for our set appointment but had to wait an hour after our set appointment time to even be seen by the vet. I also did not find their prices very reasonable.

My dog had a big mass on her back and was previously seen by Standiford Vet on Standiford street and diagnosed her with an abscess and advised me to monitor it. This got worse within a period of 10 days. They gave me an estimate for over $2500. Still they couldn't do surgery until three weeks later. It was already bleeding and oozing. I took her to Modesto Family Pet Hospital. They evaluated her with a reasonable office visit of $45. They scheduled her within three days with better treatment and for less money. They also took care of past due vaccines and heartworm preventions. She is home and recovering. Staff is prompt in returning calls and super professional. Thank you for taking care of my baby. Very compassionate about your feelings . Its so hard to loose a pet its like loosing a family member. My only complaint was its too expensive. Not everyone can afford a animal doctor.

My little Mickey ( long hair Doxie) had a problem with his back. He was in a lot of pain. They weren't so gentle with him and explained thoroughly what the x-rays showed. Price was very reasonable and Mickey is starting to feel much better. Love this vet, will definitely return.

It was my first visit here today and I was very impressed. The staff was friendly, kind and competent, Dr. Stewart was wonderful, gentle with my scared dog and took the time to discuss his findings and treatment plan. I trust them with my fur family and will spread the word that this Veterinarian is wonderful.

My senior cat needs teeth extractions and I was scheduled at another vet office. I took my cat here to get another price estimate and Dr Josan found 2 more bad teeth but their price is less expensive than my original vets office. The Dr came out to my car and explained everything to me and spent a lot of time with me.

This was my first visit and I can say I will definitely be using their services for my pets. Staff was timely, kind and prices were reasonable. Dr Stewart came out multiple times to inform me of the process and procedure. The staff was very clear on pricing and the discharge directions and medications. They were everything I look for in a veterinary practice and my dog did well with them. Highly recommend.

I needed assistance for my cat too get his Vaccinations and was able too get two out of the three at The Rock Church on March 20 and today March 31 his third Vaccination at an affordable price. Dr. Kwane Stewart should be commended and we need more Veterinarians like him. I also appreciate the staff for their hard work and now have Modesto Family Pet as my clinic.

We took our mini maltese dog in to be checked out they were so accommodating and nice. They answered all our questions.
