Pet Stop Warehouse Mission Viejo, California

Been going here for years. They have the Primal Freeze Dried Cat Food that I feed my cat. The larger Pet stores do not carry this brand/food. They are right down the street so it's super convenient. They have a rewards program, so after a certain amount of purchases, I get a $5 off coupon. Highly recommend this shop.

One star only for the nice associates that work there. Today I visited the store and had a horrible experience with an older man who I now find out is actually the owner. I have three dogs and have shopped here for years and after today will never return. Before today I was last in the store over the weekend where I had an amazing associate help me pick a new food for my dogs. Unfortunately, after 4 days none of my three dogs would eat it so as told I brought the bag back with more than 50% (I actually only used probably 2 cups) simply to swap it out for a more expensive brand. The owner instantly became increasingly upset asking who told me this. When I described the associate and another associate confirmed who I was talking about he got more upset knowing I was telling the truth. He continued to try and intimidate me by getting more upset and then telling me to just go get what I want. As I was walking to the dog food section I stopped and went back up front and told him I will no longer shop here, don’t want the food, and he can just keep the full bag I already paid for. He said ok and just stood there watching me. I understand times are tough, but there’s no reason to not honor something I was told without making me feel like I was doing something wrong. I work locally in the animal industry and have been doing this kind of work for over a decade and will gladly spread the news like wildfire.

I love this store. The owner gives customers personal attention and helped me decide on the best food for my dogs.

Good prices, and selection. They have become our go to store. Feeding 3 labs is expensive, so every little bit helps. Plus the rewards progam puts a couple of bucks back in your pocket! $$

Wide variety of your more higher priced pet foods. More organic no regular retail store brands mostly dog variety. Also has some items in cooler.

This is my favorite store for my pets period. I have tried every big chain store. Even worked for them. Tried other local bougie af stores and hated it. I love these guys and there rewards program is amazing and worth your loyalty. I will never go anywhere else.

This place is really great for finding specialty pet food you won't find in other chains. The staff is really helpful and they even have me a few samples for my picky eater so I could figure out the right food for him! If you want a wide variety of toys, go somewhere else. But if you want huge and healthy food selections, this is your place! The prices are very reasonable too, and they have a frequent shopper program. I'm very glad I found this place!

I love this pet store!! They are very helpful and welcoming! They already know me by name and for the employee's that don't they remember my pup's name witch is just as good to me! Over all pricing is very competitive! Honestly no other store comes close! I hope they never leave and that I don't have to move out of the area because i would hate to have to give my business to anyone else! They also have vaccination clinics come and set up on the weekends at times witch is amazing since I'm only 22 working full time supporting my self and my dog. And i can't afford vet prices.
