I called yesterday afternoon for an appointment for a 6 day old kitten I found abandoned and was given an appointment first thing this morning. The receptionist was amazing and asked relevant questions to help me determine whether the kitten needed to be taken right away to an emergency hospital or could wait until morning. Today, when I went, again all of the staff were great. The vet assistant who first came in to see my kitten was very knowledgeable about neonates and was able to give me some good suggestions. Dr. Bahou was also awesome and explained what needed to be done and took the time to thoroughly examine my little angel. I appreciate their professionalism and knowledge. Before being referred to this office, I tried several other locations and was told that their vets were not familiar with kittens this young or that they could not give me an appointment for a few days. Based on my first experience here, I would recommend this veterinary office. I will be coming back with my own pets in the future. Thank you to Dr. Bahou and to his staff.

TL; DR - Dr. Bahou and his wonderful staff ACTUALLY CARE about your pet. We had our young little warrior kitten, Agamemnon, burst one of his paw pads. It would heal and burst once a month. Took him in to get checked out. Dr. Bahou came in, picked him up, pet him a bit (I could tell he was examining him), set him down on the table and continued, scratched his neck behind his ears and kissed his forehead. I knew then, we were in the right place. Weeks of in and out visits led to an examination of his paw. Dr. Bahou had given him local antibiotics and steroids to help fight off a possible infection but it didn't work. X-rays revealed a growth, did a biopsy and found out it was a rare but slow growing blood cancer. When we talked about amputation my wife was very concerned. Dr. Bahou originally wanted to do a full amputation, when we talked it over about a above the elbow, he agreed that for balance, grooming and playing, an above the elbow might be better. I don't know if it was against his better judgement, but he made us feel like we were really part of the process. He wanted my little warrior to have as much of his old life as he could, or at least gave the perception that he did - which made my wife very happy. Still more weeks of in and out for check ups post op. We pick him up and find a little heart cut out of medical tape on his nubbin (picture). He's healing well, no irritation, infection, or bleeding. Agamemnon gets his stitches of soon, and he's already back to his old self! Albeit a little more off balance lol 29/10 you should go to Dr. Bahou.

Today was one of the hardest days of our lives. Our fur baby of 15 years went to Rainbow bridge. I wish we would have went to Dr B decades ago. Unfortunately our last vet did not diagnose our dogs injury correctly. So she had been suffering for awhile. I was given a recommendation to bring my dog to Dr B and his amazing staff. We were prepared that she would be going to Rainbow bridge before we arrived. As we walked through the door I felt the love and care, From each staff member that helped us and especially Dr B. They all were so kind to the family members that went today. Thank you to all the staff that treated my Millie and my family so sweet today. We will always bring our fur babies to you when needed.

I will never go back there again. I liked the doctor, but the way they dealt with me regarding the medication she needed was horrific. They charged me three times the amount that Chewy Pharmacy charges for the same medication. I told them I wanted to order future prescriptions from chewy RX.com and they made it So incredibly difficult for me. They would not let me speak to the vet, they did not return my calls. Horrible Customer Service!!!

I will never come back here again. I got bloodwork for my cat on Thursday night, they told me the doctor would call me by noon the next day for bloodwork. They forgot to call me on Friday, so I got a hold of them at 5 pm. They couldn’t tell me the results that day because the doctor wasn’t in! Why didn’t they tell me that on Thursday!? Finally spoke to the doctor on Saturday and he said he would send me the lab reports, still haven’t received them. It is now Monday, I just called in and they said it would take 24 hours to process. I asked, “Why would it take 24 hours to process sending a PDF over email?” Rudely she said, “it’s because they have other things to do.. surgeries.. appointments and such.” I’ve been waiting since Thursday night already! I need my report! I’ll never return!

Truly a great staff and vet experience!

Had to bring our 8 year old Puggle in this morning due to severe swelling in his face and neck. We were referred by a friend and our experience couldn't have been better. Brian took Jake right back (without an appointment) and had him checked by Dr. Ramsey, who were both super friendly. They checked him thoughrouly and it appeared he was suffering from an allergic reaction to a bee sting. Provided an IV to get the swelling down and kept me informed on his progress the entire time. We have found our new Vet! Couldn't be happier with the service & care. Would definitely recommend to anyone in need of a Vet.

Our Labradoodle Benni ate toxic pot pourri one week ago. She became violently ill and in severe pain. Dr. Bahou took her right in and she spent 4 days in the hospital, over the weekend. Dr. Bahou came in Sat. and Sun. and updated us as to her progress. She received wonderful, skilled care and treatment and here, one week later she's home and eating and acting normal. Dr. Bahou is the best vet we've ever had and I wouldn't think of going anywhere else. Thank heavens for a vet who cares and is so good at treatment in all kinds of situations.

Hands down best vet in oc or anyplace for that matter. Dr Bahou and their staff goes above and beyond in all aspects to treat your dog with the best care possible. We think of Dr Bahou as family :)

Great! Dr Bahou is an amazing vet and you can tell he truly cares about animals. He made my skittish dog feel very comfortable when examining her. All the other staff are great too!

A friend recommended Dr. Bahou, and I am so happy she did. I was looking for a vet to remove two small tumors from under my 13-year-old dog's eye and another large one on her ear. I was concerned about her being under anesthesia, and also about the price. Having just moved back to Orange County last year, I was shocked at the price of vets and really needed someone trustworthy whom I could afford. Dr Bahou is all that and more. He is kind, caring, competent and affordable. Not only did he get the tumors out quickly, but he did it in such a way that there will be no scarring. My wonderful boxer mix was up and alert right after surgery and we had no complications at all. We even boarded her with them a few days later when we had to go out of town and the staff loved her and played with her throughout the weekend. I am so grateful to have found Dr. Bahou. It is such a relief to bring my pets to such a wonderful and caring vet!

We bring both of our dogs here and have nothing but good things to say. I am very comfortable with Dr Bahou's suggestions-and never feel like I've been overcharged also he is great with our fellow family members

My family has been with Dr. Bahou ever since I was a child. He has always taken special care and interest in our pets. When my childhood dog passed away from age and cancer, it was devastating for me to go through. He made it as painless as possible for both me and my best friend. I strongly recommend this vet and thank you for everything Dr. Bahou!

This place actually gets a 4 for the vet services and the vet himself. Fabulous with animals and really cutting edge information. Gets on the floor with your dog for exam--couldn't be a better vet!

Totally agree, Barbara! We also drive over 20 miles to go to this vet. The entire staff has been great with both of our puppies. The prices are fair and the service is exceptional.
