Excellent office and team! All of the front office staff are always so friendly even when they’re busy. They are very willing to help. They know their pet patients well, too. The veterinarians are knowledgeable and very willing to answer all questions.

Poor Service Before the vest sold to VCA this was a very good animal clinic. Now the procedures are rigid, the schedule is overbooked, and everyone is rushed and far slower to respond. You can't call without being put on hold, the vets never call you back personally any more, and the unbending rules from the giant corporate parent, VAC, can be flat squeezing the service and friendliness out of the staff. Try elsewhere.

Our experience here was odd. Things started out well and we were overall pleased. When it came time to have our cat neutered, they quoted us $1,100 for a cat neuter...yes, you read that correctly. I am aware that Marin county is one of the wealthiest in the country but how in the world it costs over one thousand dollars to neuter a male cat is beyond ridiculous. Needless to say we went elsewhere and paid a fraction of the cost for an excellent neuter. We also repeatedly requested this location to send records to a daycare facility for our dog for *months* and received no response of any kind. We no longer take our animals to VCA Tamalpais and recommend you don't either.

We had an emergency with our dog - and despite the office being overwhelmed with work - both the front desk and the dr went to the greatest lengths to make sure we were taken care of. The treatment was beyond best in class. Dr. Havernick has created a business to be proud is able to maintain a 'family' atmosphere in the most challenging circumstances. Bravo and blessings to all. These people are really concerned for your pet????not only your pet but how you yourself are effected psychologically when the time comes to put a best friend to rest; no feigned emotion but real compassion. Every animal is taken care of w intelligence and empathy.

Dr. Johnson and the team are attentive and kind and with their great care, I am hoping both my dogs will join the board of super seniors Tam Pet have at reception!

Mt Tam has been taking care of our dog, George for 5 or 6 years. Their care is always kind and professional and timely. We bring George there for all of his care, and we board him there, too, as needed. We cannot recommend them highly enough!

Awesome as always. I have been coming here since 1999. Experience has always been superb and the staff is very welcoming, understanding, effecient. Honest and conservative practice. The pet is the number one priority in health, safety, and care. A++++++++++

Friendly and proactive staff. Vets are always on time and avaliable for a checkup on short notice. Experience with boarding has also been pleasant.

Picked up Heartguard and Tick & Flea protection for my Jack Russell Twinkles yesterday. They did a price match and sent in a promo rebate as well. Twinkles got a nice toy! Love TPH!
