Poor service, always late, unprofessional staff

staff were very kind and friendly

I am very happy the vet! Dr. K found a broken tooth when my dog went for a 2nd booster. She needs an extraction and they scheduled her for xmas eve am. The vet tech was very kind to my pet and I am very grateful.

My pooch was peeing blood. They got her right in and the doctor came out to talk to me. He was very kind and understanding. He explained what was going on and what he suggested we do. Next day, my pooch is getting back to her usual bossy self. The meds are working. Thank you for making my pooch better. ❤️

The staff and dr where so nice and took very good care of my Luna. I got her the night before thanksgiving and she didn’t have any of her shots and they where able to see her on thanksgiving morning with no problems, I did feel bad but they really are so friendly and nice This is my first puppy so I’m glad I chose them as Luna’s care provider????

Was not happy with almost 45 minute wait but pleased with the end result. Staff is very friendly and knowledgeable.

Called on Wednesday for a feral cat spay they gave me an appointment for Fri. Other places were giving me 30+ days out. They changed their hours are now open 9-5. Still curbside only. If you are there before opening ring their doorbell.

All the People at the Merced Animal Center there the greatest professional so friendly and helpful and explaining everything in detail. Just love theme there reliable and professional and friendly. Thank you for all your doing for Molly and Rusty.

I travel the two hours back to my home town to have my veterinary care done at Animal Medical Center. For over 20 years they have been my veterinarian and all of my pets have been so very well taken care of.

We love Merced Animal Medical Center! We first came here for an urgent care visit when our regular vet office was closed, and we have come back many times after that because of the great service and care they provide. One of our cats had a serious condition that required surgery and extensive follow up, and Merced Animal Medical Center has been thorough and patient with us as we navigated this challenging situation. Thanks to the great care we received at Merced Animal Medical Center, our sweet cat Ruggiero is now living his best life! A big thank you to Dr. Kafka and the entire Merced Animal Medical Center team!

The wait in our hot car 2 1/2 hours it was hot and miserable id of took my cat some where else veterinary office on 16th street merced alows u ti come into office pandemics over we need to be treated as so and not left in our cars in a heat wave

I have been going here with my fur babies for almost 3 years now. Every single time it has been the best. I trust them with my babies so much that is not an easy thing to get me to do. My dog needed same day care and I was able to get a "walk-in" appointment that worked out really well. This dog has had ongoing issues since I adopted him. Dr. Kafka shared some possibilities that I hadn't heard before and my dog has improved on the medication we are using. The receptionist and tech were great too. I felt that I was charged very reasonably for all that was done within an urgent care kind of appointment.

They took excellent care of Coco and me. Coco is my little 1yr. 4lb Yorkie that needed 4 baby teeth pulled and got spaded. We were both nervous, they pampered and spoiled Coco and reassured me.

I have brought our dogs here for almost 10 years - the first one til age 13 and now our 2 year old pup . They have always given good recommendations and excellent care for each of them ; different ages and breeds so different concerns . They have had surgeries there and unfortunately emergencies . There have been some changes the past couple years but they have adjusted as have we and this is still the best vet clinic !! They are professional and caring whether helping you out at the front desk , assisting or the vet themselves ! I have referred others to come here and they have / do whether cats or dogs. I highly recommend them for good service and quality care .

Well, I have never been to a veterinarian before because we usually cannot afford it. However, my elder mom was worried her dog Kya was dying. I admit I was skeptical and thought they were going to sell us something we didn’t really need or want, but to my amazement it was the complete opposite. Nice, friendly staff who greeted us and kept us informed. The vet came out and was up close and personal as I imagine one in his position should be. Very kind and very informative. Great experience and I will bring our cats there for maintenance and grooming. For sure!

Got immediate service and dropped off our dog for the weekend to go on vacation. They returned all the items we left with them and fed the dogs as instructed. All employees were very helpful and kind and we picked up our dog without any problems. They told us how our dog did and we were on our way. Will definitely return if we ever need a place to watch over our dog again.

My long time buddy my cat was sick from poisoning and was near death. Didn't look good but they went to work on him and in 4 days they had him like well back on to over the threat and he's coming home. The entire staff was great with him and keeping me informed every day. Back from near death he was treated fantastic. I'm so grateful to whole staff for great work to save my long time buddy. THANK YOU ALL.

Loved the experience. As someone who has social anxiety they made appointment so easy, quick and comfortable. Very convenient and friendly staff. So glad I chose this vet for my ESA pet . HIGHLY RECOMMEND!

Our dog really enjoys going to University Pet Resort. She is genuinely sad (and exhausted) when she is leaving! Love taking her somewhere we can trust!

In 2019 our cat got blocked and had to be put on new food for the rest of his years with us. As I called for another bag pick they said I’d need an annual exam in order to receive a new bag. This was not told to my husband and I I asked what the annual exam included (eye check, ear check, feeling around the belly) for $52 just to continue buying $89 bag of food Called a different vet, no problem - come pick it up, no appointment necessary

During a walk the previous afternoon, our dog started vomiting and later gagging. We called this urgent care and they both were able to get our dog in. She had swallowed some fox tails which were removed by this clinic. Excellent job and professional service.

They were the sweetest, the vets are nice and actually care about the pets. The wait time is minimal, and fast. They also communicated everything that was going on, they left detailed voicemails when I was at work and a phone number I could call incase I had any questions.

I gave up my vet to go here and right off the bat they ruin my faith in them. First of all, I take all my pets in for check-ups and they say nothing about their health. Since we don't see the visit do they actually even do it? Then I fill a prescription and ask them to mail it to me and they say it will cost $20.00. I agree since we are 40 minutes away and I am still waiting for the prescription 7 days later! Unbelievable!! I had to call and ask why I haven't received it yet, they didn't even call to let me know what happened. Very upset with them.
