Petco Madera, California

Great customer services. The layout was a little different from other stores but it was a welcomed change. The staff was very helpful when fulfilling an online pickup.

Petco has always been very obliging with the curbside pickups. I love this option as it saves me time. All the associates are cooperative and very pleasant.

I only wish they had more options when it came to birds.

My pet returned for a follow up visit as scheduled for part 2 of a 2 part series (Vetco). The Vet refused service unless we paid an additional checkup fee of $35. I am on a fixed income and did not have the additional funds. The Vet said “oh well” and we had to leave. Now my pet has only a half a vaccination series and the original funds paid wasted. This “checkup” was not needed for the first dose and was not mentioned when scheduling the second dose. Hidden / Blackmail charges !!!!

I love everything especially toys and clothing for my french bulldog and they also have good advise, the grooming was excellent as well I took him for the first time last month and will be bringing him back

When I first started taking my dog to the groomer at Petco, the Customer service, groomers were on top of there game, it was a 5 star establishment.Now the last couple times I've gone has been terrible..had a 10am appointment for a basic haircut and to trim her nails..they called 20 minutes before appt to ask if I could her early, so I did and she still don't get finished until 3pm..her hair was so bad she had patches of hair longer and bald in spots..5 hours for such a terrible job..I will never use Madera Petco ever again

Very nice workers and good food and toys for dogs

This Petco in Madera is fantastic! We have an unruly puppy and we have been going to obiient school with her here. I can't tell you how wonderful they have been! Not to add the helpfulness in general with regards to recommening food to chew toys for our new puppy. They actually quit reasonable compared to chain stores. I highly recommend!

Always a friendly staff at this store. Found a soft, cloth harness for a small dog, which is exactly what I was looking for.

Need a fish specialist, for sale and to keep up with the tanks.

I was looking for cat toys and did not see any. Headed up to the front with my hubby and while we were discussing not find any toys, the cashier ACTUALLY showed us where they were and recommended the cat tunnels. And let me tell you the fosters I have are insane about them... I really appreciate the time she took to show and recommend. This was above and beyond what wasn't even asked for.

We desire to acknowledge Pet Trainor Troy, for his professional knowledge and his patient demeanor with his training approach. Our dog (Geber sounds like Gebear) learned so much in his first week of class, I would recommend Petco's pet training classes to anyone. Job well done!!!
