Ambrose Veterinary Hospital Madera, California

No less than $500 they told me and with no explanation This office was recommended to me by many friends but for them to tell me this I was pretty upset What type of a veterinarian does this?

Worst fake veterinary hospital. They didn't try to help my puppy with a broken leg.

He was my Vet when we did German Shepherd Rescue in Madera almost 30 yrs ago. I adored Him, while I still do rescue (on a small scale now) where I live, I always compare the Vets I have to use to Dr. Frank Ambrose. He helped me save several German Shepherds. Very kind heart.

LEAVE A MESSAGE WHEN YOU CALL FOR AN APPT. THEY WILL CALL YOU BACK!!! I figured I'd start by saying that because I've seen a complaint already saying that they never answer the phone. You're right. They don't. They're busy. BUT if you leave a message they will call you back! If you don't leave a message you will be missing out on the best vet in this area. Dr Ambrose really is the best. My dog, Peaches had an ear infection in both ears. He took such good care of her. Over the course of a few months we went back every couple of weeks for him to examine her, and he'd adjust the treatment as needed. In between appointments the staff would call me as well to check up on her, which is so impressive to me. Friends have told me their vets don't do that, even after surgeries. The staff makes you feel welcome there, and like you've known them forever too. And you can really tell that Dr Ambrose really loves the animals he treats. It's obvious that he definitely doesn't do this just for a paycheck. And he's super funny, to boot! :) My dog likes to act like she doesn't like him when we get there because she knows where we are. Lol but she likes him, and she shows him that as we're about to leave. :) She is all better now and I've got Dr Ambrose to thank. And she can hear me a lot better too now it seems. I will definitely be taking all of my animals there from now on for anything they need. I wholeheartedly trust him with them, and I don't think I'd be trusting of any other vet. And my Peaches is a happy baby now!

The care they gave my boy Duke was excellent... he had a bad infection in both ears, they did a deep cleaning and prescribed antibiotics ear drops...by the next day I could see and improvement...

Wouldn't choose any other Vet for my furbabies.

Dr. Ambrose is the only veterinarian I would take my animals too. He is very compassionate and caring for animals.

Must have an appointment. Long waiting times, but worth every minute. Dr. Ambrose is awesome and so is Debra at the front desk.

Dr Ambrose is the best vet around been using him over 30 yrs.Great prices excellent service and knows his stuff.Tells you like it is and wont try to rip you off.Removed a tumor on my dogs tummy at a great price.My dog is recovering quick and doing great.

Best vet in town. I've been taking my pets to see Dr. Ambrose for 15 years. Just a heads up you ALWAYS have to leave a message when calling. However, they ALWAYS call you back. No one will answer if you call 100 times. You HAVE TO LEAVE A MESSAGE!!!!! Dr. Frank Ambrose is passionate and truly cares. He gives you what you need to get your pet back to health and gives you straight forward answers. I would highly recommend him.

Dr Ambrose is the best vet you can go to. He truly cares about our animals like his own, as well as very friendly with us and our companions. His pricing is also very reasonable and if there's a surgery involved you don't pay until when you pick up your buddy. Highly recommend, he saved my puppy's left eye from having to be removed. Fantastic Vet and highly recommend. Pays special attention to those animals with particular health needs and keeps the owner along with pets best interests in mind. Very friendly staff and welcoming office. Dr. Ambrose has a wonderful bedside manner for both pets and owners alike. Clean rooms and should your pet have to stay overnight they are well taken care of and owners are welcome to check in via phone if wanted. In Madera Ca. I wouldn't trust any other vet with our dog.

I have been going to doctor Ambrose for 12 yrs with all my dogs and have always been happy with them my recent experience was without question my best I do I d a abandoned abused and extremely skinny and sick dog on the streets I called the doc and told him the situation and he had squeezed me in not only did they take care of my new dog he gave him his name and helped me and my family nurse him back to health if it wasn't for them my family wouldn't have had the wonderful 8 months we had with our little guy unfortunately he past due to the injuries he sustained from the people that previously had him words can't explain the kindness dr ambrose and Debra gave to use.
