The Foxy Hound Los Gatos, California

15 STITCHES (internal & external) & ER VISIT and they pretended they hadn't noticed the 4inch wound down my dogs NECK!!!! I had to discover the DEEP laceration AT HOME after picking my dogs up from their 7hr stay at the store! When confronted, the groomer shared she thought I was calling to complain about how my dog "VIOLENTLY" fell off the grooming table while she left my dog unattended to answer the front desk phone! NEVER EVER TAKE YOUR DOG HERE! They are defensive, unprofessional, arrogant and a DANGER to your beloved PET!

They take excellent care of my grandmother's dog Reba Thomason Florence, Thomason dog my grandmother my mother lori daley and I bring her in on Saturday every eight weeks and they do a fantastic job and the staff are very nice and friendly.

I absolutely LOVE The Foxy Hound. I have a peke-face persian cat. She gets groomed regularly and she gets a "lion cut". I cannot emphasis enough, if you are looking for the BEST groomers in the Los Gatos area Foxy Hound is THE BEST. I also would like to note the owner and the staff are so warm and inviting. I feel very fortunate to have had my cat groomed by them for the past 4 years. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!

Do NOT bring your dog here! Possibly the worst groom we have had in ages. The owner is extremely rude and our dog looks worse than when he went in. We told the owner we were not happy with the grooming and she said our dog was difficult. Difficulty with our 15 pound dog hasn't been an issue anywhere else. I have a feeling they aren't particularly kind to the dogs, thus why he was scared beyond belief. The owner then asked for tips and pay before we had even seen our dog. No thanks! We won't be coming back and don't suggest anyone else does either. I give them the extra star because they were able to take us last minute.

I took my senior Maltese to Foxy Hound today for the first time based on a Nextdoor recommendation. I’m so pleased with how courteous, professional and helpful they were. My girl looks beautiful again because they took such great care in grooming her. The bonus is that they are close by. They’re awesome! Thank you!!

I have brought my English Cocker Spaniel Martin to the Foxy Hound several times and I am very satisfied with the quality of grooming, the ability of the staff to create the least stressful environment for dogs and with the friendliness of the staff. Highly recommend this place.

Great love, care, and service for my puppies

I have been taking my girls to the Foxy hound for 5 to 6 years every 5 weeks and have always had the best service anyone could ask for! It is always nerve wracking when you drop your loved ones off for a grooming, but not here! The staff have always been wonderful, asking what it is the girls need for their visit; if I want to add a teeth brushing or hot oil. They always pick up the girls with such care before taking them to the back. I would highly recommend the Foxy Hound to anyone! If I could give them more than five stars I would!

The Foxy Hound is the best! I've been taking my dogs here for... maybe 25 years I think! It began with the Lhasa Apso named Woofy my family got when I was ten, then we were given an albino Pekingese named Sugar a few years later. Both of those two have now passed, although they lived for 19 and 17 years, respectively. I now have a couple doggo homies named Scruffy, who has been part of the family for about 7-8 years, and Sid, who is approximately ten years old and was adopted into our family this past summer. Both of them are the types of dogs that have hair, and will just continually grow longer and longer. So we continue to be patrons of this fine establishment. The grooming work is top notch, and is always worth the somewhat steeper price that you should probably expect of any business based in Los Gatos. If you have a pet that you've made a Foxy Hound appointment for, I highly recommend the Hot Oil Treatment. It is an additional $10, but Scruffy has a somewhat course coat and with this he comes out feeling softer than I could ever get him trying to bathe him at home... and he doesn't even struggle against me during baths anymore! So for all intents and purposes, the conditions are right for me to give him a really good bath and even lathering him up three or four times doesn't do the trick. The only issue with this place is that they have such a good reputation that it can often be quite difficult to get an appointment within the next week. So if you are interested in this place, I'd say you will have a much better overall experience if you are the organized type. I'm not organized at all and it is still well worth it, and I wouldn't take my guys elsewhere unless absolutely necessary.

Great service and customer care. My dogs are always happy for a visit and grooming. Same groomer for over 10 years - little if any employee turnover. Pricing is a bit higher than Petco but worth it. Staff is super friendly and helpful.
