We brought our 2 dogs to get them trimmed. The lady at the desk overcharged my family and I, and lied that the store had to flee-bomb our dogs. We had even asked to put our name on the book in 2 weeks, but when we arrived she told us we were never scheduled.

They always do a great job. Pups look great.

I brought my dog here about a month ago to be groomed. He is a standard poodle (6 months old) and we requested a teddy bear cut along with pulling of the hair in his ears and nail trimming. When I made the appointment I specifically asked how long my dog would be there. I was told if I dropped him off at 9am he would be done in 2-3 hours. I specifically clarified again and reiterated I didn’t want my dog there all day long since he is still a puppy and they just keep them in cages. I also had plans in the afternoon that day. The woman on the phone informed me that would not happen and he would be done no later than 12pm. I dropped my dog off at 9am sharp and continued to call to follow up to see how he was doing once it had been 4 hours. They kept telling me they were very busy and other dogs were taking longer than they thought. Long story short.. 5pm rolls around and I showed up even though they told me he still wasn’t done. He was the VERY LAST dog there and the groomer was not even done with him yet. I expressed my disappointment with the front desk staff who told me these things happen. Once they returned my dog to me he didn’t have his collar on and I asked for it. They weren’t able to find it for over 15 minutes. I looked at his cut which was fine but not great.. it was uneven and she barely got the hair out of his ears. I just tried to make an appointment to have my dogs nails trimmed and ear hair pulled out and the woman on the phone was pretty dismissive. She told me I had to come between 9am-130pm as a walk-in. I told her I work full time and need to come at 430-5. She told me this isn’t possible because they aren’t open this late. I told her my dog was there until after 5pm and the website says open until 6pm and she questioned me saying that had to have been years ago. I told her it was less than a month ago. I asked if instead of a walk in I could schedule an appointment for later in the afternoon and she said no. This place is very poorly managed and it’s too bad because it’s right next to my house. I will be finding a new groomer.

Highly recommended. The best pet spa with professional stuff, clean place and responsible manager.

I think they had new groomers now, because before they had several dogs died while groomed / they put them under constant hot hairdryer heat/

I have gone here for years and years. Family by now. The Best. People are terrific t hey do an amazing job plus quick .I appreciate no appointment necessary .and of course their price. Best price in town. Only wonderful things to say no negatives. Off to see them now

The best Pet Spa in Los Angeles. Every groomer is very talented and an expert. My dog always comes out like a movie star. They also provide teeth cleaning once a month by professional dental hygienist.

I have been bringing my dog to TLC for the past 7 years every quarter for a bath and haircut. He is a rescue poodle-mix, with some issues about being handled by strangers. TLC has been so patient with him and his haircuts are always so cute! This is the only place I will be taking my dog. :)

I’ve been taking my dog to TLC for many years and can not recommend them highly enough. Doris is always friendly and accommodating. She and the staff do everything they can to fit me in even when they are busy. The best sign of how great they are is that my dog cries with happiness, pulls her leash, and wags her tail every time she goes for a grooming. They’re the best!

They do a nice job, but don't always listen to what you want. The pups fur is always left longer than what I want

They do the absolute best job taking care of my two dogs! They are consistent, kind and so good to them. The shop is always clean and beautiful, and my dogs are always so excited to see the staff. And the pick-up/drop-off service is so convenient! Definite recommend!

We just rescued our precious furbaby and since she's been so amazing, we thought we would treat her to a well-deserved doggie spa treatment. The people at this place are so sweet and provide awesome service. They can be trusted for sure. Our little girl came home so happy and smelled really good and super clean. Highly recommended! We've been taking our 15 year old Pomeranian here since he was 6 years old. Tender Loving Care has always been so good to him. Now we also bring our younger, 50 lb Cattledog to TLC every month for her regular grooming. These are good people and the new ownership has re-invested into the shop. Now you can grab treats, chews and other helpful pet items like collars that might save you an extra trip to the pet store. I'm writing this review because TLC takes care of our dogs so well that I think others should know. No offense to the "one-time haters", but they don't really know what we know from years of patronage. Recommend!

I have had both of my dogs groomed here many times. One's a Chihuahua and the other a spaniel mix. They have both emerged smelling sweet, looking beautiful and with immaculate manicures. I never make an appointment--just swing by when the mood hits me ( or when the dogs are smelly and long clawed). The owner is helpful and friendly. The dogs come out happy and clean. What else could anyone possibly want.

We have three dogs, and found this place because we like going to the charity shop on the corner. Any dog groomer place is about the people and we just LOVE the lady at the front desk -- and, of course, most notably, the groomer. BEST pawticure ever. Our oldest dog, who is 7, is a Texas Heeler and has crazy long toenails and this is the ONLY place we've ever taken him to where his nails were so wonderfully and cleanly and safely clipped. He was bathed and came out SMILING. Our youngest/newest dog is a Chihuahua who is skittish around new people, but he took SUCH good care of her. She needs regular pawticures and I won't go anywhere else but here now. She has also had a bath there. We're going to try and make appts for all three, too. P.S. I don't know anything about the owners or previous owners, but from the Yelp and Google (here) reviews there were issues. mercifully, we had NONE. The new or whatever owners are so lucky to have the people they have now, because they're the reason we keep coming back! Also, I find the name of this place very hard to remember. I can never remember it and we've been back there numerous times. Just a thought. Not a catchy name.

DO NOT TAKE YOUR PETS HERE! Today was the first and last time I will ever take my dog here. I took my 4 year old golden retriever here for a summer cut. When I got her home, I found a cut down to her skin and still bleeding on her front leg as well as rashes on her underside. She gets summer cuts every year and this has never happened to her before. This place is NOT tender, loving or caring. Rather this place is CARELESS and RUTHLESS. Save your money and your pet. STAY AWAY FROM THIS PLACE!!!
