This is the best Vet I've ever been to in my entire life. I wish I found this place years ago. Unfortunately I had to put my Dog down, but the staff and the Dr made the entire experience so much better, given the circumstances. My pup was 14 and lived a good life. If I ever get another Dog, this will be my Primary Vet.

Been taking my pups for years. Great people, flexible scheduling.

They are the only place that will take walk ins around. That’s great. The doctor seemed knowledgeable but very short on patience. They definitely make you pay for the convenience, a simple ear infection for which I knew that I just needed some ear drops came in at $280, the drops are $25 with a prescription. I could’ve taken my dog to a regular doctor for that.

Dr.Pasternak is a great vet. He listens. He explains his reasoning. His staff is beyond sweet and they are fast!. The facility is very clean. I brought my cat here and I was in and out. It was very reasonably priced. So happy. I have been back here multiple times and I live an hour away and still could never find as good as a vet as Dr.Pasternak. Bring your Pets here! You can trust that they will be in good hands.

The staff and wife of the doctor were very friendly and helpful. They deserve 5 stars. The doctor, however, was a bit rude and did not seem to care about my dog very much. After reading the articles on the wall there about how he wrote a book about a good diet for animals and that he cared about them, I was so disappointed to discover his lack of interest and kindness.

I had almost lost hope finding a vet for my dog. He needed to be seen immediately but all other veterinary locations were either full or you were requested to wait in the parking lot for over 6 hours while your pet was inside. Dr. Pasternak and his staff came to rescue with caring hearts. This office truly cares for all pets and they allow you inside the office to be with your pet at all times. Thank you Dr. Pasternak and your amazing staff!!!

The morning staff was very standoffish when I got there. The vet MD was not interested in answering my questions, he was quite annoyed ???? that there were questions. I'm not impressed with that kind of service, I would not recommend non-white customers.

After seeing many vets, I brought my great Dane puppy with puppy Strangles to Pasternak! I also was told my 13-year-old Weimer Reiner mix needed two knee replacements from other vets, some of these other vets also came recommended and I was highly disturbed and disappointed. This was so far from the truth it’s not even funny!! But when we found our home at Pasternak I was relieved, thrilled, and felt like we were in good hands for once in California! The vets in California seem like they are a “turn and burn” “take your money” type. But not here!!! You can tell Doc Henry really cares about animals, all the animals that come through and much more! I love his wife and all of the staff there! They were open during the pandemic, they never closed, and they never forced anyone to sit in their car while waiting on their animal. And yet no one in the clinic got Covid! How impressive! I’ve got to go inside and be with my babies every single time which is how it should be. Would you send your child into the doctor without you? No, no you wouldn’t. And they did not and never did force us to do that here! I highly recommend Pasternak Vet, even if it’s a drive for you, it’s worth it! The holistic approach is a much for us in my experience and in my humble opinion. Pasternak does it well! The staff also is very good with all of my animals!

This place is awesome! My dog had an emergency and was bleeding profusely. Our vets office said they could see him in 10 days. Vca Sepulveda said it was a 7-9 hour wait and I had to wait in the lobby with my bleeding dog. Another office said we had to sit in our car for 2-4 hours until they were ready. Pasternak took us immediately and helped my dog in 15 mins. We were in and out and have moved our care to this office.

I took my puppy to Dr Pasternak yesterday after he has been having diarrhea for two days and started puking. Dr Pasternak was kind, knowledgeable, and thoughtful. He gave Rory B12, anti inflammatory, and antibiotic shots, then gave me guidance about his diet and thoughts on how to prevent my naughty beagle from picking up nasties in the future. Rory has not had any diarrhea or vomit since we left the vet, and he is almost completely back to his normal self! We are so grateful, and will definitely come back if we have any problems in the future. Thank you Dr Pasternak! Also- he had never seen Rory before, and took us immediately!

Truly the best vet in Los Angeles. Amazing and incredible. A true 5 star care facility for the ones you love..

Care is very focused on the animal, not the pocket book. So easy to get in and out. The doctor is knowledgeable about holistic care and understands the importance of a raw food diet and good nutrition rather than pushing commercial pet food like so many practices do.

My cat had worms, and with the quick service, plus helpful staff my experience was amazing.

I wouldn’t recommend this vet if you are looking for compassion and/or truly holistic services. They were curt and unhelpful and don’t seem to care at all about providing answers that any loving owner would search for. Extremely disappointed.

Dr. Pasternak saved my puppy's life after 4 other vets failed to help him. He was able to clear up his bacterial infection within 2 weeks, and he and his office staff made our visits a positive experience. I highly recommend this practice and will continue bringing my pup here.

Dr. Pasternak and the staff are absolutely wonderful. The whole appointment was so easy and more importantly our 2 cats seemed at ease the whole time. Thank you again!!

Over priced relabeled supplements. No information on what they are or what they do. Very unprofessional.

Dr. Pasternak is my hero. Words can't express my gratitude to him. He has cared and saved the lives of 4 of my Huskies under the most excruciating conditions. They have all undergone horrific liver cancer surgeries. I don't know what I would have done without Dr. Pasternak. I don't trust anyone else with my fur babies.

Lovely staff. Dr. Pasternak was able to pull my cat ???? back from the brink. I think she is actually on the true mend now.

Took my 12 yo chihuahua to see him on Friday 5 June. She's been itching and scratching for 5 years. No one could figure out why. Dr. Pasternak prescribed some natural treatments and for the 1st time in years, my pup turned onto her back tonight for me to rub her belly. She's a dog again! Versus the screaming banshee she had become. Thank you Dr. P!

Dr Pasternak is truly a remarkable healer. Our dog has had many years on this planet because of Doc and his staff❤️❤️❤️❤️

Our dog loves this place. The doctor is very knowledgeable and holistic. We were able to avoid a $6000 knee surgery for our dog with Acupuncture and some supplementation. Parking I'm always thankful for in LA and it's super easy.

Ive been to a lot of vets and Pasternak by far is the best. I always got the feeling that Vets were a business first. This was the first time going to a Vet where I felt like they were in the business of helping animals. Not just a business. The table side manners were amazing and very comforting in a time of distress. I will recommend Pasternak to anyone who wants someone to feel like they care about your Pet. There is never a wait and they rushed me in when I explained my pets problem. After explaining the same problem to 10 other vets with a wait time of 2 weeks. I'll be taking my next pet to Pasternak 100%

Said my cat had a fever so I paid for antibiotics. She was feeling fine so I didn't give them to her then took her temp a day later and she's fine, no fever. They wanted me to get a blood test to see what was wrong. That would have been a waste just like meds that she didn't need. My cat is pregnant (I picked her up from a Craigslist ad the day before the appointment, so she was already pregnant when I got here) and they didn't want to spay her, despite the fact that LA County kills tens of thousands of unwanted cats every year. They did want me to get an x-ray though. To confirm the pregnancy. What's the point if she's getting spayed? And he didn't even want to spay her anyway, so again, what is the point? I was lucky to have gotten out of there for under $200 and nothing was done for my cat. He was also extremely condescending. Lesson learned. Plenty of other vets in the neighborhood.

DO NOT COME HERE IF YOU WANT TO DO RABIES TITER TEST for your pets. The doctor is not able to separate serum from the blood. Good side: - Do not need to make appointments for a visit. - Good receptionist - The doctor's kitty is cute Bad side: - no scanner for microchip - The doctor is not able to separate serum from the whole blood. - The doctor draws blood from my cats' neck. And he cannot find the veins at once, left several needle holes in my cat's neck. The needle holes bled for 2 hours.

Really thorough and explained everything. Took no short cuts. First time my dog was calm at the vet's. He helped and did wonders for my dogs back problems. He gave my dog acupuncture and my dog loved it! My dog was so relaxed and was full of smiles, and happy in the car ride home.????????????
