Oh Hello Dog Los Angeles, California

This is a wonderful place with wonderful dog-loving people. We had a bad experience in a previous dog daycare, on his first day, they let my dog hide in a corner for 6 hours, they probably forgot he was even there until it was time to go. (I torturously watched him on the livestream the whole time - a puppy parents' worst nightmare came true) At OHD, they actually spent time with my dog. They observed him and set him up for success, but at his own pace. After he was comfortable with the handler, they introduced him to a couple of friends, and then eventually he met the rest of the group. He still gets a bit nervous whenever I drop him off, but I am at ease knowing that he's in great care and that he gets the attention he needs.

I don’t think dog care in LA gets better than this. My dog LOVES coming here. The staff is so kind, responsible and communicative — their photo/status updates during boarding are especially comforting. The costs are extremely affordable compared to other facilities in the city, also considering how many add on services you can add. Thanks Oh Hello Dog for all you do!

I cannot write enough nice things about this place. The owners, the staff, the handlers....every single person is incredibly pleasant and kind. They are welcoming and accepting. They don't discriminate on age, size, breed. They truly love all fur babies and treat them like their own. We were turned down by every other daycare in DTLA due to my dog's size, but OHD team took her in with open arms and open hearts. Absolutely recommend.

Oh Hello Dog probably loves my dog almost as much as me, and my little velcro dog is always excited when we roll up to the front door. We just moved to LA and were so lucky to find OHD. The staff is super responsive, friendly and chill. The place is so clean and honestly smells great! Great environment. Yesterday we left our puppy there for 4 hours and his tail could have not wagged faster than that. He had dinner and let’s just say he woke up today 2 hours after his usual wake up time. Love this place already and highly recommend it!

Absolutely love this place. They don’t discriminate and treat your furry ones like family. I have a 115 lb Giant Schnauzer that no one else would board due to size and OHD took her in with open arms. She gets so excited to go there every time and sleeps for 2 days straight afterwards ????. Gray loves you guys and her mama loves you even more.

Writing this review is long over-due, but is likely the most important review I’ve ever written. Oh Hello Dog is the best daycare/boarding spot in LA. Period. I’ve tried other places, and always come back to OHD. Pets become a part of the family, and the OHD staff treat them as such. I drive my pup from Sherman Oaks to DTLA because they are simply worth it. Their facilities are clean, their systems are organized, and online portal is so easy to use. All of the staff are attentive, understanding, and make you feel at ease— which is important when dropping off your fur babes! OHD is the first place I took my dog for boarding because of the Google reviews, and I have to say, this place does not disappoint. If you’re searching for a spot to take your doggo for daycare and/or boarding, look no further. Say hello to your dog’s second home! Best place ever for my dog, hands down. I travel quite a bit and also a helicopter dad for my pupper. I trust Janet, Lisa and the OHD team with my dog as if they're family. OHD takes the sting out of having concern that all is ok while you're away. Wholeheartedly recommend OHD for the best care for your dog!

My dog loooovesss Oh Hello Dog and so do I! She always comes home tired. I can tell the workers do a good job of monitoring the dogs as well because Jorah never comes home with excessive scratches and bruises which I can always appreciate. I’m so happy I found Oh Hello Dog!

Oh Hello Dog is a fantastic dog daycare and boarding. The owners are dog parents as well, and they really understand the wants and needs of our fur babies. They offer added amenities like walks, fetch sessions, healthy snacks, and photo shoots to accommodate as well as elevate the dogs stay with them. Plus the owners are very active on Instagram. I love it when they post photos and vids of my pup while I’m stuck at work. Brightens up my day, and shows me exactly how much fun he’s having. They’re a fantastic business that I can’t recommend enough. Trust them with your fur baby, you won’t be disappointed!

Y’all know our fur babies are our lives. Which is part of why I’m always so hesitant to drop my little homie off just anywhere. But I’m BEYOND happy that I was told about this place! Mr. P’Nut not only had the time of his life with his new friends, but you can tell the people there really care about the animals and making sure we, the humans, are comfortable leaving out besties there. P’Nut boarded there for 4 days. Cost was fair. Care was great. He’s been so tired he’s barely moved in the past 6 hours (dreaming hard though). Highly recommend!

Me and my dog Spot loves Oh Hello Dog! If I need to travel and can't take him with me I can trust them with my little fur baby to be safe and well taken care of. I am very protective of my dog and spoil him good so Oh Hello Dog is a perfect place that keeps my mind at peace. <3

Where do I start?!? I mean it’s as though I stepped into a 5 star, Michelin rated, a wonderful place made from the dog heaven sent here in the heart of DTLA!!!! I can’t stop the praises and STILL feel like it’s not enough praises! All the employees here are so wonderful and you can genuinely tell that they love what they do. It’s as if my dog knew that too! When I dropped him off for his first day, I walked away knowing that my baby was going to have a great time from the first time he set his four little paws here at the front door! I have never felt more sure about any daycare/boarding for my baby. To further elaborate, please check their Instagram. They say ‘pictures say a thousand words’ right?!? So stop reading my review and check them out yourself!!! I’m so happy I found them!! Thank you guys for all your hard work and I genuinely appreciate how you treat all dogs with love and care they deserve at your daycare!!!!

My pup loves coming here! I appreciate the in-depth review after my pup's evaluation and that they have an option for boarding near me. Also, the social updates of the pups' daycare play is really cute. The additional options for the boarding is nice to have and I've boarded him twice. They've really thought about the experience for the owners in addition to the dogs in everything they offer!

Took my puppy, Dex here for the first time and I couldn't be happier! The staff were from start to finish, so friendly and attentive making me feel at ease about leaving Dex here during the day. They sent pictures and updated me throughout the day. I highly recommend Oh Hello Dog. You won't have to worry about your dog because they are with the best staff!

By far the best daycare and boarding I've found. The other reviewers are correct. This place rocks. If you're still unsure, I recommend following their IG ohhellodog@ for numerous, daily updates. I've been using their daycare and boarding, and I fully trust them with my dog. Truly the best place to bring your dog for daycare and boarding. We are consistently so impressed with the OHD team’s level of commitment, professionalism and affection towards our dog - and all the dogs there for that matter! We couldn’t recommend them highly enough!!!

The folks at Oh Hello Dog are truly incredible. I have a very anxious rescue and they've been so patient with her as she starts to transition into daycare. I'm grateful to have found a place where I know she is caring hands.

We were looking for a daycare to take care of our very special deaf boy with congenital heart issues, and we are so thankful to have found Oh Hello Dog! First thing that stood out to us is the care and intentionality they embody in taking care of the dog: their evaluation process made sense to us in honor of setting up the dogs for success. Especially for our guy, we wanted to make sure he would be okay in the new environment and the others would be okay with his special needs, but Oh Hello Dog guided us (humans and dog) through the process to make sure Charlie would be okay. If you're worried about your dog being supported and being met where they are, Oh Hello Dog is the right place for you! Second thing that set them apart was Janet replied to all of my messages efficiently and thoroughly, answering all of our questions with clarity and care. Not only is it easily apparent how much she cares about the well-being of the dogs, she is also professional and thoughtful in her interactions. We loved our experience and can't wait to take Charlie back!

OHD is my pup’s favorite place for fun times with her furry friends! The staff are so warm and welcoming and truly love and care for each of the dog’s as if they are their own. I feel very safe leaving my dog in their hands, whether it’s for daycare or boarding. Highly recommend!

I had to go out of town for a few days and I felt completely comfortable leaving my dog with Oh Hello Dog. He loves spending his day with them so a weekend was bliss. The people care for the dogs like they were their own and it shows in how happy the dogs are upon arrival and how tired they are once they're home. Would definitely recommend for either your doggy daycare needs or boarding.

This review is long overdue. We’ve been sending our pup to OHD for a couple years now. We’ve even moved about 20-30 minutes away and still continue to send our pup there - we won’t let her go anywhere else. Janet, Lisa, and their team genuinely care about all the dogs who stay with them. They make amazingly cute and hilarious videos on their Instagram that further showcases their love! They go through a thorough process to evaluate your pup and make sure they’re a good fit - this is important to me so I can feel like my dog is safe there. My dog dislikes dog parks but she loves and trusts the humans and animals at this facility - this speaks volumes. They provide so much attention and care to each dog and love unique things about each of them. Thank you, OHD. I always rest easy and never worry when Olive is in your hands.

The only day care that I trust to take care of my pup beyond just daycare. I have not trusted any other daycare to take care of her overnight. I know that my dog has the best time at Oh Hello Dog because she runs into the facility without looking back. I know they do well with her because there are so many vids/photos of her napping on her back at daycare, even with so many other dogs. I highly recommend taking your pup to OHD!

I followed OhHelloDog over a year ago, before I had a pup (cause who doesn’t love seeing happy, hoppy dogs all the time?!), but I knew as soon as I had a pup, I wanted to take it for daycare. So a couple months after I got my frenchie, I emailed them and asked how to get him involved with them! The communication was quick and easy, and was given all info I asked right upfront. I first started with the orientations, as they require, but also for me it was allowing my pup to get acclimated and make sure he was okay with other people and pups. Things went well! And my pup came back home happy and exhausted. Lol. So we tried out our first boarding with them this weekend when going away for a little staycation, and the process was so easy and comfortable! I dropped off my pup Friday morning, so he had plenty of time to play all day, left food for him for the weekend, and picked up Sunday afternoon. He came home again happy. Can’t wait to take him back for more daycare days, and in the future when traveling more, feeling comfortable leaving him for more overnights! Thanks OhHelloDog team!

I have 3years old French. She doesn't want to leave the place when I pick her up most of the times. All the staffs are very friendly and they often post up my girl's photos on Instagram. My girl and I love "Oh Hello Dog".
