Dr. Pham is incredibly wonderful and really cares about your pets. However the management of the office is extremely poor. I’ve been going here for 2 years because of the wonderful dr. But almost every time I come here it is long waits even if you have an appointment. The rest of the staff has a lack of care and attention to customer service or details. Last time I came they gave me my cat back with a urine soaked carrier. The staff didn’t even double check when returning my cat. Another time I came here and I was waiting for hours to get my cat back although his check up was finish due to the fact the morning shifts of the staff went to lunch and simply forgot to return my cat before they went to lunch. It’s so bad! I wish the staff was as amazing as the doctors.

I was able to take wolfie in for an urgent appointment, this was lucky since it’s hard to book on short notice. They checked everting out and didn’t push me to do unnecessary X-rays. He went home with some pain pills and felt much better that same night. They are always good at explaining the situation, compassionate and thorough.

It was ok. Lovely out front technicians! 10/10 The doctor was ok. Hard to say as I never met him, had to wait curbside. They were efficient with wait times.

Expert care! Everyone is always very friendly, patient, and do a lovely job taking care of my cats!

We are coming to this practice from 28 years, Dr. Matt Costin is a great doctor and assist us in many of our dogs issues. Staff is great and a little bit overwhelmed due to the existing COVID-19 health issue. I do highly recommend this hospital for your pets needs

Sadly my puppies got into some old pain medication that had fallen on the floor and was hidden from sight under the bed. Upon rushing them both to the Los Feliz Small Animal Hospital the staff immediately sprung into action and the doctor (Dr. Matthew B. Costin, DVI) was able to save them with literally only minutes to spare. I was visibly shaken by the experience and the staff were exceptionally kind and supportive realizing how upset I was. I cannot thank them enough for both their efficiency and demeanor as without them this Christmas season would have been an absolute tragedy. I have another veterinary service I've used for years but after my experience with LFSAH, I'll always take my pets to them for any future medical needs and would recommend them to absolutely anyone. The doctor went above and beyond and even assisted with some of my pet's other conditions that fell outside her emergency needs as a complimentary gesture. So if anyone from Los Feliz Small Animal Hospital is reading this - thank you again from the bottom of my heart and happy holidays to you all!

Brought Skittles in for gland issues. Dr Dean who was the Vet on call was delightful. Professional and knowledgeable she explained all the treatments and her recommendations. It was great to be able to go in person. I am always very happy with the quality and friendliness of the entire staff and appreciate how hard their job has been during COVID. We have been taking our cats here for over five years. They are very attentive and gentle with them. They are very thorough in telling you what is going on with their health, making sure you understand and the possible treatment plans. We have gone thru many health scares with aging pets, and these folks have helped us thru. Couldn’t be more grateful for this place!

An incredible experience with Dr. Doyi Bae. My cat does not behave well at the vet, but he was amazing with her and we got to the root of the problem. So grateful.

What a well oiled machine of a vet experience. They answered the call, scheduled an appt for a soon-ish date, I was in and out in no time, and my dog's surgery was scheduled two days later. In all my vet experience, this was hands down the best.

Update: During the pandemic these guys strived and worked hard to keep up with the heavy demand. They did a fantastic job and went out of their way on many occasions. 5 stars! Org: Nice vet. Small office but helpful and honest. Good advice. Quick service.

LFSAH always takes great care of my cat. They even take the time to get to know her and remember her, which is great.

My two girls were quite nervous but the everyone there was really good with them. The entire staff were really sweet, efficient and thorough, from beginning to end. I was very impressed.

Our dog has a myriad of GI issues so we visit LFSAH often. Even when they are busy, every staff member treats our dog as if he was their own. Our dog loves going to the vet because they make it such a calm and loving experience for him! Receptionists talk us through our dog’s issues if we aren’t sure if they are worth a visit and work to fit him in for an appointment when he needs one, even if they are already full. The vets are deeply kind and take time explaining their approaches and reasoning so we are more empowered to help at home. We never feel rushed or confused. We are so lucky we found them!

My pup Bougie loves these guys. Vets are great about speaking to me directly regarding her care and choices.

Once again, Los Feliz Small Animal Hospital impresses us with their expertise, kindness and professionalism. We have been taking our dog here for the past five years and they have always gone above and beyond. Every single visit, whether it’s for a wellness check-up, vaccinations, teeth cleaning, illness or grooming, has been excellent. Juan Fabela deserves special recognition. We bring our weird and anxious dog in every few months for a grooming and I don’t know how Juan does it, but he manages to calm Moops down (no small feat) and expertly groom him. Thank you, Juan!

Yesterday, I reordered my dog's food and medication. Since LFSAH closes at 3pm on Saturday, I left at 2pm to drive the 2 miles to pick it up. But due to street work, every car in the Los Feliz area was moving at about 1 mile / hour! I called, thinking that they'd say "sorry, we're closed, you'll have to come back Monday". But the very kind employee said "just knock on the door when you get here ... I'll stay and finish up some things". I was amazed. Who does that?? Anyway, thank you, as always.

All the staff is very courteous and attentive! My dog has been going there since he was a pup, and the quality of their service remains at a top level. Their exams are thorough, and very the vets are very informative. Would recommend to others with no hesitation!

Staff is extremely friendly and attentive. Each doctor I’ve seen is thorough, and treated my kitties with love and care as though they were they’re own. Affordable veterinary care in Los Angeles is limited, I’m grateful they’re here.

This vet is great, Dr. Costin has been wonderful to my cats. When I needed a dental cleaning it ended up being the most affordable I was able to find. I am grateful for their services and care!

The care that all of the Doctors and staff showed was incredible. My dog was very sick and I received compassionate support and intelligent successful care for my pet. I was very worried and the doctors took the time to show me what the problem was and how they expected to treat it. They were successful and I am grateful. Additionally, all of the staff at Los Feliz Small Animal Hospital were very kind. Finally, when I needed to bring my dog in with an emergency issue they opened up an appointment and we were seen immediately.

I take my Jindo pup here regularly and I’m very satisfied with the service. They get busy sometimes but I never feel like the service suffers as a result. They’re always very responsive to questions. Even the receptionist was able to provide some helpful info in one call. Good place with good people.

After waiting over a month to get in to establish care with Los Feliz Small Animal Hospital, I can tell you: it was worth the wait! Dr. Costin is very informative, patient, and helpful. Gave me really good pointers on how to manage some of my puppies more problematic behaviors. Really glad we are under their care!

Juan is the best groomer on the planet. Doctor Costin the best vet on the planet and this time, Dr. Doyi Bae was wonderful! The entire Los Feliz Small Animal Hospital staff (Rosie, Gloria!) is utterly reliable, skilled and kind. I'm grateful. They have provided more than 25 years of superb care for my dear family members.
