Bird food for my Frankie.

very kind and acknowledge staff. I got my bird from them 4 years ago and I still go back to that store to buy all of my food toys and treats for her after all these years.

I have been inside this store and it is awesome. The staff is nice and they have lots of birds to choose from. I will defiantly be getting my bird from here :) (Also yes I have done research about the cage and food and how much time I need to spend with it and things like that)

The lady on the counter was lil rude I got a whole box of mijo after I payed for it she point her finger to the left side and said get one from over there .

Great selection (I was surprised given that I came in well out of season). The lady working (I was so inquisitive of the birds I forgot to get her name) was very knowledgeable and friendly. The price point was a bit high, but for hand raised flock that is to be expected. Very happy with my new pal....looking forward to many years together and will definitely hit this shop for supplies and any future additions to our flock.

Purchased a couple of hand raised parakeets from this store. They are very healthy and comfortable with people! The little babies will stand on my hand and shoulder and have acclimated very well to their new environment.

The male owner is so rude and so unprofessional. I've purchased a lovebird from there before just so the next day the bird is lethargic and for me to return it. They didn't want to take any responsibility and obviously didnt want to refund me, it took a lot of going back and forth to get my refund which I was entitled to. He didn't want yo refund me but he finally didnt after hours. I purchased another bord and it died also within a few days. I think these birds are either sick or sold to young. Also their birds are OVERPRICED, even before COVID the prices were insane. They buy their birds and eggs from other breeders (maybe backyard breeders) and resell for a much higher amount. Once I asked the price of a certain bird and an employee told me it was x amount then the employee walked away. I approached the male owner to talk about the bird and he gave me a much higher price than what the employee told me. By the way, this employee had informed me that a same bird was sold for the x amount he told me. So yeah, avoid this bord store at all costs. Also, the cages and chew toys are OVERPRICED too. You can buy the exact cages and toys a lot cheaper online. ????Save your time and money. There are ethical and professional bird breeders out there who also ship the birds if needed. Just do extensive research on the person so you don't get scammed. ????

There customer service is amazing.

We needed a cage late in the evening due to our female rejecting her lifelong mate. We called and the lady said she'd keep the store open for us. When we arrived, she met us, let us in and had a couple of cages lined up to show so we didn't have to wander through the store. We have shopped here for years and always had good interactions with the staff. This night was super stressful and she saved the day by being there for us. I'm only sorry that we didn't catch her name. She was awesome!

Bought a beautiful rose breasted cockatoo there who couldn't be happier or healthier they have very nice staff and very helpful

If you call and not from L.A do NOT bother calling they wont even give you information on any of the birds. Let alone wont bother to sell you one.

The birds here are so well cared for and loved. They are kept clean and fed healthy food. They are happy and interactive with visitors. The staff we met here are kind and obvious bird lovers who are knowledgeable and go to great lengths to keep the birds in their care healthy and happy. A very stark contrast from “Birds Plus” in Van Nuys which I left nearly in tears and couldn’t even look at the proprietor because it’s probably not wise to look pure evil in the face and I wasn’t sure if my sweetheart had bail money.

Love this place. So many budgees that they have here as well as other birds. I’ve had mine for a couple months now. I had first bought one then she looked a little down and sick so I let the guy know the following day and I went back and he let me get another bird without any charge. So thank you. This is by far my Favorite Aviary! They have very knowledgeable staff. Everyone is very friendly and helpful. I chose to buy my conure from them because they are trustworthy and their birds are in great condition! They make the process easy and they always give the best advice!

I went and got my birds beak, wings, and nails done. They are so sweet to him while working on him. They also have lots of babies to adopt! Highly suggest

My fiancé and I stopped in here today looking for some help on finding a new family member. We had the pleasure of speaking with Filipe, the representative who was running the counter. He was sooooo helpful and did a very good job at representing where he worked. We originally were looking for an African Grey (which they had) but Filipe understood our needs and was honest with us about the African Grey only bonding to one person and in a family home that can cause conflict if there are more people. We ended up deciding on a Green Cheek Conure and put a deposit down and bought a cage. We cannot wait to go pick our baby up, thank you so much Canoga Discount Bird, you are the brightest of lights in these crazy times. You have earned yourself a lifelong customer from our experience today. And we will always ask for Filipe. Thanks!
