So I’m only temporarily in LA, and I needed a vet for my puppy and I’m really grateful I found this vet office. I can tell that they are passionate about animals and will go above and beyond to give the care they need. The doctors were responsive and answered all my questions and they were able to find what was causing my sick puppy issues. They gave good meds and I feel confident that she’ll be back to normal in no time! I definitely recommend this vet office!

Dr. Croquenois is amazing! Came here before with the previous vet & was always happy with care, but since they took over, it exceeds expectations. My cat was injured & the entire staff was gentle, quick & caring. Made a stressful situation less so knowing my Snow was in good hands.

I'm a new client here, but am very impressed with the friendliness of the staff, their knowledge, and their prices. They are super transparent and will explain as much as you want regarding your dog's health. Will be my vet for a long time I think.

I am so impressed with Dr. Croquenois and the staff at Cahuenga Hospital. They truly care about pet and their humans. Dr. Croquenois is incredibly knowledgeable, kind and professional. I was so pleasantly surprised by the follow-up calls and texts to see how my dog was doing and how she was responding to the medications. What a breath of fresh air after receiving mediocre service for several years from another animal hospital that is actually closer to my home. I am willing to make the longer drive to get superior care and service. Sadly some vets have become jaded after years in business. My dog had a UTI, and I was told I had to wait an entire week to see my usual vet. Other places told me there is a shortage of vets and it would take at least a month to get an appointment. This vet saw me the next day. I am extremely grateful that my dog got the treatment she needed in a timely manner.

THEY DO NOT FOLLOW COVID SAFETY PROTOCOLS HAD TO WALK OUT OF APPOINTMENT BECAUSE THEY LET A PERSON WITHOUT A MASK INSIDE AND THEY DONT VENTILATE. Wasted $60 in lyft for them to put my life at risk and ultimately my dogs life because I prolong his care for my safety

The Dr. was nice but maybe not as thorough as I would have liked. They took my cat in right when we got there but it was over 2 hours before the Dr. even saw him. A male Vet Tech whose name I don't recall was so rude and obnoxious to me. I was with my sister and she heard the conversation. We were about to leave and find another Vet but we had already waited 2 hours. This is a one Vet practice that is very busy. It may be time to hire more Veterinarians. I will no longer be going to this office.

Such an amazing crue. So professional and emotionally comforting towards a dog owner like me. (The her puppy just got his paw cut. The place is just a hidden gem. Recommending to you from all my heart .and as you can see on Aniston’s face he approves the delightful and pain-FREE experience he had for the first time in his 6 month old life :)

Came to check out his leg came back all scratched up and bleeding. I guess it makes me angry that the entire staff was very nonchalent about it. Took way too long. Had a 4:30 pm appointment and it's 6:44pm now still waiting

At last the vet you’ve been looking for! If you love your pet as much as I do and are frustrated and disheartened by veterinarians more concerned with making money than the care and well being of your fur baby, look no further. Meet Dr. Christian Croquenois with Cahuenga Veterinary Hospital. I have been searching for an honest, knowledgeable and compassionate veterinarian for over 10 years and at last he has arrived. I recently had a very big scare with my 2 year old golden retriever named Escrow. I reached out to my previous vet on a Monday to explain my dogs condition and was told the soonest they could get her in was Thursday. On Tuesday my dog seemed to be getting worse so I called my vet again. I was told if I thought it was an emergency I should take her to a 24 hour clinic. By Wednesday she was vomiting profusely and couldn’t keep anything down. I rushed her to the emergency only to be told they were red alert too crowded and if she wasn’t dying they were also to busy to admit her. I called my vet again now in desperation and they told me I could walk-in and wait to be seen for $85. I headed to the vet and waited. I keep waiting until my dog began to foam from her mouth. I told the receptionist to please help me her. Her response..”if you want her to be seen immediately we will need a $500 deposit.”So they ran my credit card and in she went. When they returned the doctor briefly explain what he thought might be the cause of her illness and then a vet tech came in with a $2700 invoice I would need to sign off on in order to proceed with her care. The diagnosis seemed vague and the treatment extreme with possible surgery not accounted for in the estimate. I authorize fluids and began to search the internet. I was completely distraught. Then a friend called me and said she had the greatest vet. She was not kidding. She connected me with Dr. Croquenois over text message. I explained my dogs conditions and he immediately had recommendations with what I could do to stabilize her for the evening. He scheduled an appointment with me the very next day and even came in an hour early so he could see her before I had to be at work. The moment I met Dr.C in person felt an Overwhelming sense of relief. He actually loves animals. He cared and was concerned for Escrows well-being. He listened reviewed Blood work and x-rays and was able to properly diagnose my dog her. To no surprise, she did not need surgery. He treated her that morning with fluids and antibiotics. I was pleasantly shocked and completely relieved when I was given the bill for Escrows treatment. I thought for sure it was missing an additional number. It wasn’t. After 10 years of outrageous treatment and charges I expected veterinary fees to be so much more then the reality of what they actually should be and Dr. C charged. I Gladly paid the bill and we were on our way. Throughout the day Escrow progressively got better. At 4pm Escrow was on the fast track to recovery and I received A text from Dr. C to ask how she was doing. This was something my previous vet never did in 10 years. I’m happy to report Escrow is doing much better and I have at last found my forever vet. I am overjoyed to give the highest recommend to Dr Christian Croquenois with Cahuenga Veterinary Hospital.

I was really disappointed in my visit here, and was really surprised at the service received after reading so many positive reviews. We had an appointment in early May, and immediately upon arrival the place felt chaotic. The vet didn't introduce himself nor take much interest in my cats, and he didn't wear a mask, despite COVID-19 regulations. He recommended an ultrasound for one of my kittens, which, after visiting another vet, I learned was completely unnecessary. He asked no clarifying questions and did not examine my other cat, despite having brought them both in for a wellness exam, addressing only the one question we had that he recommended an ultrasound for. Maybe we caught them on a bad day, but we'll never go back.

Nice facility, reasonable people and prices, took too long returning our pet to us after required inoculations, then did a decent job handling the neutering except for prescribing gabapentin for post op pain. Gabapentin is not for that and generally shouldn't be used for animals or people for anything, really. At all.

My dog was diagnosed with a mast Cel tumor in his leg. And since the diagnosis I couldn’t find a vet that I felt comfortable and confident enough in. I visited 5 doctors until I gratefully found Dr Christian. I can not say enough how lucky I feel we are to have found him. He is not only incredibly thorough and knowledgeable but you can see that he truly cares for his patients. To fully explain to what extend my experience with him differed then with others Id have to write several pages. But in short he recommend surgery and removed the mast cell Tumor and removed another tumor that turned out to be much more then fatty tissue. Now we are waiting for the results from the Biopsie but I feel Confident that Smokey will continue to get great care at the hospital. other doctors at other clinics we had seen told me that once we remove the mast cell tumor I’ll have to follow up with an oncologist. And take it from there. And some weren’t certain they felt they can ensure they can fully remove it. Dr Christian has been consistent and confident in his abilities and is also able to follow up after we get the prognosis from the Biopsie in case if the mast Cel became malignant .. which fingers crossed won’t be an issue but it’s good to know I won’t have to try and find a another specialist! And without insurance things can fast escalate out of control yet CVH is very reasonable compared to most other vets and they are very transparent about costs and will not pressure or shame you into anything. If anything Dr C was willing to discuss Smokey’s tumor on the phone without seeing him to explain the basics of what a mast cell tumor Removal entails then offered to see Smokey and give me a second opinion (in my case a 5th) and waved the regular visits fee. Having him care for my sweet Pitt has allowed me to feel that I have a partner supporting Smokey’s recovery. This journey is still midway but I can not recommend him and the Cahuenga veterinarian hospital enough !!

I can enthusiastically recommend The Cahuenga Veterinary Hospital to all who are looking for loving and comprehensive care for their pets. Dr. Christian is extremely helpful and caring and I am very grateful for the time and knowledge that both my dog Theodore and I received (I was not a patient as you may guess, but I asked a lot of questions). He demonstrated a profound expertise as an ultrasound specialist, the diagnostic expert and he is also a kind and compassionate doctor. It has been my good fortune to have had our precious dog treated by Dr. Christian Croquenois .

I am truly grateful for Dr. Christian Croquenois and his staff. I brought my dog Bella because she had suddenly stopped being active and had lost a lot of weight, but previously I had taken her to 2 other vet clinics, and all they did was overly charge me and never found a diagnosis. One of the vet clinics even turned my dog Bella away, because they did not have the patience and professional expertise. I was heartbroken! Dr. Croquenois and staff saved my dog Bella's life! She was at near death and they brought her back to life, with their compassion and expertise. I am a witness of their love and professionalism. They do not over charge and are not looking into charge you with any extra or hidden fees. They are very transparent. Dr. Croquenois continues to take his time to ensure that Bella is progressing and healing from her arthritis. She is doing amazing! Bella is much more active and has improved significantly. This is the best Veterinary Hospital and I will always be very appreciative for all the phenomenal service. Thank you Dr. Croquenois and Staff, you hold a special place in my heart and in Bella's!
