Don’t waste your time or money here. They don’t do it for the animals, they do it for the money. I went for my dogs skin infection. They told me what I already knew yet I still had to pay 65 for a consultation but I learned nothing new. On top of that they tried charging me 500 for treatment. I called another veterinarian clinic and I’m going to pay not even a quarter of what this place was going to charge me. Don’t do it!

My dog had a half an inch cut and needed stitches. Vet saw my dog for 10 seconds and told me $2,000. I said no thanks and then he charged me $65 for that quote. This place only takes cash, venmo or zelle. I don't recommend it but it's up to you. Be careful. Update now 2 weeks later.... Went to my original vet and turned out my dog had a small wart and not a cut. Total visit cost with medication was $128. I used logic and my gut to leave this place immediately and I was right.

So, I took my cat here because I was worried to know what got him sick because he didn't eat for 4 days. My cat is an indoor cat sometimes he goes outside when the door is left open for a moment. The vet assumed that my cat eat something poison and that treatment for 3 days was gonna cost me $900 without a warranty because he did not know exactly what my cat had. It made me feel that this clinic only cares about the money and not really about the wellness of our pets. This place was a complete disappointment!!!!!!!!!!!!

This doctor saved my babies lives. They are reliable and accept walk-ins. Everytime something is wrong with my cats, I call him and he tells me to bring them over while over places have a week long wait! A little expensive but it doesnt matter when your beloved pet is saved! He helped me when i didn't even have enough, gave me extensions to pay and no other place would do that. Highly recommend this place. Thank you so much for everything!!!!

Pro- Got a same day appointment, was nice both doctor and nurse, ideal for emergency, higher Dog knowledge?? Con- Consultation $65! Alot, ended up paying $300..... overpriced! Didn't look like he knew what he was doing, was not sanitary, looked like he didn't know how to look at my cat. unprofessional. when i asked for my cats report they send me a picture rather then email AT LEAST. Really over priced. Not going back.

Dr. Walter is the best! My dog previously ate some raisins so I quickly called Dr. Walter. He took me in right away. Thankfully my doggy is okay. The prices are very fair and you get the best service here! Definitely recommend Dr. Walter.

I’ve been taking my dog here since he was about 3 months old . The vet knows how to give him what he needs while also making sure that my dog doesn’t get too antsy. Best veterinarian place so far!

Had bad experience in a different vet for urgent care of my kitty found this vet and I am just beyond thankful for the care they had with my kitty they did a tremendous job with my kitty’s eye surgery and Dr Walter was able to work with me with a price I have since been taking my kitty Sabby with Dr Walter for for treatment and his vaccinations the staff is super friendly and caring and the place is so friendly and clean! I am beyond blessed and I have since recommended friends to bring their fur babies with Dr Walter

American Veterinary Service has been my veterinary provider for over ten years. They have taken care of my dogs multiple times. I always get great, prompt and quality service. My terriers have struggled with allergies for several years, Dr. Walter always takes care of my dog Snoop. Four years ago, Snoop was hit by a car and Dr. Walter took care of him. Snoop has done well because he got such good care. Snoop is getting older and I am aware of the inevitable facts of aging. I am grateful that Dr. Walter and American Veterinary Services will take care of us. I highly recommend them.

I’ve had the best experience they are very professional and compassionate with my senile dog they made her very comfortable Dr.Argueta answered all my questions they have definitely earned my business.

Came in Spoke to a doctor about a plant that my cat had eaten that I had learned was toxic and was charged $55 for him to give me the phone number and address to an urgent care They also wanted $1200 to do bloodwork.

Called in last minute for my pug and Dr. Walter took us in to check him out. He was very kind and friendly and explained everything in detail about what my dog had and explained how his medicine should be taken. Really great Doctor!

Dr. Walter has been nothing but great to our dogs and has always shown concern. American Veterinary Services is a great place to visit if you need genuine care for your pets. Price is reasonable if you value quality care. Definitely will remain with them as long as we can.

We asked for an itemized bill for our dog because we wanted to see what we were paying for and they decided to kick us out for asking. Very rude and unprofessional. I’ve never heard of a vet refusing to provide an itemized bill or at least explain what services they’re paying for. If you got a good experience here lucky you because we read good reviews but it was the complete opposite for us. I would never ever recommend this to anyone especially considering how we were treated. If you can don’t come here it’s not worth it. Dr.Walter is extremely rude, impatient, unprofessional, and mean. You can’t even question what’s going on without him getting infuriated and saying he’s “too busy” to answer your questions.

Called and got an appointment same day. The Dr and nurse were very nice. Dr.Walter told me everything my dog had. It is a little pricey but worth it. My dog is now doing so much better.

I’ve never been here before, but when I called to enquire about setting up an appointment the man I spoke with was extremely rude and unprofessional. When I asked questions he Didn’t give a proper answer, and he seemed very annoyed that I was even asking questions. I began to wonder if I had called the right number until I asked “this is the vet right ?”. When the conversation was over I immediately knew that I would not be needing their services, if this man was so rude over the phone, imagine in person. Along with that was the thought of how he would treat my dog! If you truly care for your animals I would suggest taking them elsewhere.

Since I got my dog more than 3 years ago. He has been in the most caring, compassionate, and amazing hands of Dr. Walter. He is a dedicated, professional and kind veterinarian. My dog and I appreciate the great service. If you are looking for a place to care for your dog then this is the place. All the staff is friendly and kind.

Dismissive, rude, unprofessional, and overcharged me for things I did not need. Did not want to show me the invoice when asked and threatened to up the price because I asked for one. Will never go here again.

I originally met Dr. Argueta at another Vet's office over 5 years ago. After he left that office I went searching for him for no other Dr. had taken any interest on the well being of my two fury babies. I was very blessed to have found him again for he has kept my 12 year Bichon Poo who has many health issues healthy and alive. I for always be grateful to him for taking care of them . I always get a same day appointment where as other places with the pandemic situation will give appointments two to three weeks later. Dr. Argueta is honest if he cannot handle your pets condition he will immediately refer you to someone that can. I have encountered other doctors that will just put a band aid and not resolve the health issue of your pet. Maximus and Reggie and their parents thank you Dr. Argueta for your kindness and humanity.

My dog had parvo and he made it out alive with the 3 day treatment! The staff is very friendly and they accept zelle!

Staff is amazing and professional. They're very helpful with all kinds of animals. Very patient and caring with my kitten. Doctor was also very professional, gentle, and kind to my kitten's first shot.

I called, explained the reasons why n for wanting to making an appointment for my OLDEST Maltipoo. Spoke directly to the doctor who told me that he does not look at ear problems, and referred me to a dermatologist. I've always considered a veterinarian's office a One-Stop Animal Medical Center. Therefore, I contacted another Vet, and was able to get all of the Medical, and Dental NEEDS met and taken care of. I have a voice recording of the conversation, and will upload it to YouTube if this shafty veterinarian disputes what I have written here. I contacted this place because of all of the positive comments made. I see clearly, that the One Star rating comment is the one that I should have considered the most. Oh well live and learn. For those of you who have received good care you are fortunate. I plan on starting A Blog about Pet Care, and Animal Care in General. Follow me on Instagram for blog information. It will be a few weeks before I get it up and going. On Facebook, I'd like to start a Group about Most Precious Family Members with PAWS and CLAWS getting the care, and nutrition they need. They give us unconditional LOVE. The least we can do is help each other find the Best Care possible for Our Furry Family Members. The FB GROUP will be a place to list Positive Recommendations and Respectful Cautions. After all, just because myself and other people like a place that alone does not make it a good place to go to. Nor does a bad review hold weight, without specific reasons being stated.

He's very trustworthy and we would recommend him to any pet owner. We really do love Dr Walter and all the help he's given us over just a year of meeting him.
