I absolutely love Canine Purpose! Weston and Elise are both exceptional trainers who have helped me in having the best relationship with my dog. Their group/private training classes have helped me in areas of obedience training so that my dog can be taken anywhere. All thanks to their help, we are always getting complimented on how well behaved our GSD is. On top of their excellent training, they also provide boarding and grooming services. I love how reliable and helpful they are whenever I need to board my dog. They are also able to help give all the medications my dog is on with no problem which is such a huge relief whenever I have to go out of town! I trust them watching my dog whole heartedly 100% and I know by my dogs behavior how much fun she has when she’s with them. We recently tried their grooming services and we loved it! My dog was looking so clean and freshly cut which is perfect for these warmer days coming up in summer. The groomer was very receptive to what I was asking and she was very kind. Weston and Elise & all their staff are amazingly wonderful dog loving people and it shows by how they care for the dogs. We’re so grateful for them so much so that I recommend Canine Purpose to anyone I come across who needs help with their dogs!

I have been taking my german shepherd to canine purpose for the last 4 Plus years. When we first arrived my dog was aggressive due to lack of confidence I was taught. After working with weston and his excellent staff we were able to transform my dog into an extremely capable protector and build his confidence to be fearless. I can now take my dog about anywhere with no worries. I also board my dog there, its nice to be able to go away and your best friend will receive the same level care you give. Last time I used the boarding service there was a little mishap because sometimes things happen. Weston and his staff stood up and took care of everything that needed to be done to be sure my dog was ok including doggy delivery. Weston has been instrumental in our successful addition of two new pack members to our existing two retired racing greyhounds and three barncats. Our adult children have spent significantly more time with us this past year of lockdown, bringing their new pups (Australian Shepherd and Mastiff/GSD mix) with them. Weston has made several ‘house calls’ to educate humans as well as canines facilitating a smooth transition.

I've used Canine Purpose for boarding as well as group classes to train our 1 year old German Shepherd. Weston and Elise run a top notch business and I can't recommend them enough.

We have used Canine Purpose for many years both to train our Jack Russell Terrier and for boarding. Our experiences have been 100% wonderful. The owners and their staff are very kind, compassionate, caring and understanding with the dogs. The facility is extremely clean. The dogs which are boarded get exercise as well as good care. Our dogs have always happily gotten out of the car to go with them (as any dog owner knows, you can tell alot by your dog's reactions). We highly recommend them!

I highly recommend Canine Purpose. I've trained my German Shepherd "Danka" with Weston in obediance and protection work since she was a puppy. They are excellent in K9 knowledge and training skills. I would never trust my dogs with anyone else. I also board both of my dogs with Canine Purpose whenever I am out of town. They are the only place I trust with my dogs. They always come home happy and tired from all the fun they've had. Weston and Elise are wonderful people and their love for dogs is evident in everything they do. They have become like family to us.

Elise and Weston are two of the best people in the world. The staff of Canine Purpose are all great. I started going with my older dog when he was a puppy in 2019. I now have two dogs and we are all huge fans. My dogs are Presa Canarios, a large breed with a strong temperament, so it is important that their training be on point. We usually go to group class at which we work with either Elise or Weston, depending on what we would like to focus that day. They both have impressive backgrounds in Schutzhund/IPO (watch the videos on their blog and YouTube) and an amazing ability to understand dogs - and humans. Very importantly, they teach us the skills to work with our dogs at home, not just in the lesson. In addition to weekly classes, I also take my dogs Canine Purpose once a week for day play, which they love. They have tons of friends and get home nice and tired. Canine Purpose now offers grooming as well, which is top-notch and a huge time-saver for me. There is a strong sense of community among the people who go to Canine Purpose. There are people who train for Schutzhund/IPO but also people with their first puppies and everyone in between (though not in the same lesson). The clients who have been with Canine Purpose for years are serious about training and humble enough to realize that a lot of the time it is the dog owner who needs instruction, not only the dog. As if Canine Purpose couldn't get any better, they also take in rescue dogs and find them homes. A good friend just adopted her dog from them and really appreciates the support and love they have for her dog when she brings him back for lessons and day play. I am profoundly grateful for Canine Purpose. I credit their training and support for my dogs being well-behaved, friendly with people and other pets, and generally awesome.

Weston and Elise have been training us (and our pup) since our pup was about 8 weeks old. We are used to large breed dogs (Rottie/lab), and recently adopted a Cane Corso. Our vet had us beyond worried that our pup was going to rule us and we would have a huge issue on our hands, so we looked high and low for a trainer we felt comfortable with. We interviewed 5 other ones and none seemed to want to invest in training us how to read the dog, but only wanted to board and train. Canine Purpose interviewed us as well to make sure it was a match on style. Weston has come to our property a handful of times for 1:1 training at some pivotal moments, but the rest has been in 1x/week group trainings. Weston and Elise are compassionate, smart, know the characteristics of breeds, what drives certain behaviors & how to work with/not against genetics, and have been spot on helping us train our girl (she just turned 1), and she loves and respects them! She is a turning out to be such a love (think a cross between Baby Huey and Ferdinand the Bull) and we credit much of her temperament to Weston and Elise for their guidance and support for each of our family members (adults and teenagers), lifestyle, and other pets. We were recommended to them, and we'd happily refer them again and again (we aren't the type to say that lightly btw).

After trying 3 different dog trainers and not getting anywhere with my Dalmatian, I found Canine Purpose. Their methods work. She has even earned her Canine Good Citizen. I recommend them unconditionally.

Excellent!! Weston and Elise are wonderful. We have been attending group training for 6 months and started when our Vizsla was 16 weeks old. They are so knowledgeable about the different breeds and personalities and incorporate this into the training. They have taught both our dog and us techniques to use for obedience, socialization, recall, and off-leash training. Our dog is high energy, social, and sensitive and we never thought we would be able to get her to sit still. Now we can walk her off leash and she will stay by our side or come back right away even if distracted by other dogs or birds. Canine Purpose offers private, group, and kennel training. They also offer play days and grooming. I can’t describe how excited our dog is when we arrive for training. She can’t wait to get out of the car. We take her once a week for a play day just because she loves being there so much. I highly recommend Canine Purpose. Weston, Elise, and their staff have provided excellent training and it is obvious they love the work they do and truly care about dogs.

Absolutely OUTSTANDING training! Wes and Elise and their team are the best in the biz and I'm so grateful we found them through a referral. We have a 2 year old Golden Retriever and a soon-to-be 1 year old Black Lab. Our Lab was in desperate need of puppy training and we did a one week custom boot camp that we had Wes customize -- I swear we have a new dog :) Not only is their training superb but they do boarding and their facility and property is top notch. Also love that you can drop dogs for daytime play when needed and grooming services are now offered so they are a one-stop-shop which makes life much easier! Can't recommend them enough!!! ~Kim

Exceptional training! After just a couple sessions with Weston, our unruly rescue German Shepherd who was highly reactive is now able to be much calmer on walks and interact with dogs without aggressive barking. And after just one group lesson on learning to heel, our pup picked it up quickly and responds well. Weston understands dog behavior and knows how to teach us humans how to communicate better with our dog. Highly recommend Canine Purpose!

Absolutely the best, I recommend a few in home training sessions. After two visits my dog learned sit, come, bed and walk on a leash. 50lb German Shepard. Amazing

Wes was amazing! This was our 1st time with a professional dog trainer and I cannot emphasize enough how professional he was. We were amazed!
