Bixby Animal Clinic has been the best vet we’ve ever been to. Fair prices, good service, kind and knowledgeable vets and techs. I’ve brought my dog and cat in, and both times have felt very comfortable leaving them in the Clinic’s care. If you’re new in town or new to pet ownership, I highly recommend coming here and making them your regular veterinarian provider!!

A friend recommended Bixby. This will be my pet Louis’ new go to place from now on. Service is quick and convenient. Tech James treated my pup as if it was his own. One of the ladies from the staff even came out handing pastries to all clients who were waiting.

Love Dr. Drury and James at Bixby Animal Clinic! We have bee going here for almost 10 years and the Vets and staff are attentive and kind. Wouldn't take my fury babies anywhere else!

My experience at Bixby animal clinic was great, everyone from medical staff and doctor are nice and respectful. Doctor gave me information and tips about my dogs situation. She was very helpful since I was clueless and this was my first time brining my dog for treatment. Thank you Bixby animal clinic and thank you James for bringing my dog to the car!

I took my puppy in here last night and was given amazing service by Desiree. she was amazing and very informative throughout the whole process and gave a lot of great advice as well for aftercare. I really appreciate everything you've done for us today, I can't express my gratitude enough. She definitely deserves a raise!!!

IF 0 rating was possible that's exactly what this unprofessional trainwreck of an establishment would have earned from my recent experience! I brought my pup in for back pain, and an allergy shot, but under their care she left with bigger problems. My pup was prescribed medication and the next day she had blood in her stool, we reached out to bixby and they stated that was normal and to let the medication have a chance to work. The next day her stool no longer had any texture and was diarrhea. The diarrhea was very concerning because it seemed to actually be blood and not stool at all! We reached back out to bixby and was advised that this is a side effect of one of the medications and to stop taking it. They prescribed another medication in its replacement, I paid for that as well; only for my baby to still be in distress. I called and requested the Dr and manager to give me a call because my pup is not getting better and I was never contacted. After days of awaiting a call, I called back and was advised that I would get a call later. I advised I needed to speak with someone now. The manager Randy told me I could bring my pup in and he would waive the follow up fee. I took my pup in were I was presented with a bill of $154 for treatment to fix the problem their treatment created. I advised that this is an issue that was created under their care and I didn't believe it was right to be charged. I had already paid $817.50 to them in the last couple days and now they were asking for more money yet my pup is sicker than when I brought her in to begin with. I was then passed along to Cody another manager, who just started today. Cody told me and I quote " this kind of thing just happens sometimes and it's not their fault. So I need to pay for wasting the Dr time." Cody's unprofessionalism was disgusting! I told him that I don't want any additional services and he advised that I would have a balance left, this upset me even more because the prior manager Randy said the follow up fee is waived and if I'm declining the additional treatment there should not be a balance. He stated that the treatment was already rendered, when the nurses came out to offer the treatment along with the cost I declined and requested the manager. So Cody blantely lied to my face! I told him I will seek legal counsel if there is a bill amd he replied do what you have to do. I've been going here for 10 plus years and never had poor service like I have this week. This experience doesn't live up to their mission statement nor their core values. Life threatening complications CAN'T JUST HAPPEN, and when they do; take accountability and rectify the problem. It's not about the money, I paid $817.50 and would pay whatever for my baby's comfort, it's about ACCOUNTABILITY. It's unethical to create a problem and than charge to fix it. I will be posting on every social platform, using Word of mouth, reaching out to Medical association, and contacting the licensing board to try and prevent this hfrom happening to anyone.

I am so grateful for this clinic for taking me in immediately as an emergency visit and getting my kitty Binx taken care of. Thank you so much Justine for making that possible and Dr Julia for taking the greatest care of Binx. The service was amazing and everybody at the clinic was so kind to me and my kitty. Luckily the visit turned out to be something not terrible and he got taken care of immediately! Thank you once again for the great service and care ????

When I brought my cat in, the estimated cost for services rendered was under 500. That’s already pricey for diagnostics to determine whether or not my cat has a UTI. They call me back after taking my deposit to inform me that my new total is actually 780 and I still owe them over 200 bucks. Thats nearly 800 bucks for a UTI. I’m still trying to wrap my mind over what feels like a used car salesman shakedown.

Well run, organized office with a nice staff. Great communication by phone, text and email. My dog isn't afraid of going to the vet's office here, and he's afraid of EVERYTHING! He recommends them if you're looking for a quality veterinary practice that's close to Bixby Knolls in Long Beach.

This animal clinic is so reliable!!! I was calling around to see if I can get my cat Ally in as soon as possible! She has been experiencing diarrhea for the past two days. The woman who helped me out on the phone was SO helpful. She said that they can have me come in that same day I called for the price of $97.75. Compared to all the other prices for urgent/emergency care, it caught my attention really fast. I was expecting to be dropping on in about 4-5 hours from all of the other times I was hearing from emergency hospitals that I called… but they offered to have me drop off immediately and they will give me a call as soon as she was ready to be picked up. I started to drive down there and realized they are doing curbside, so I understood because of what’s going on in he world right now. I waited for someone to pick up my pet after calling in by the number on the door, and what made me feel even better was a lovely girl came to offer snacks and water to my car. It made me feel like wow! This clinic cares about us parents as well. Especially since we are waiting in the car to be helped. I look forward to coming to my follow up appointment after yesterday’s urgent care exam. It was pleasant to see that my baby Ally got the best care for a reasonable price.

Bixby animal clinic is very professional and makes my dog is feel comfortable. Kaya Rose gets nervous reach time she comes but they take their time in comforting her. Thank you Bixby animal Clinic for doing a great job for my fur babies Kaya Rose and Flash.

We've been coming to Bixby animal clinic for at least 10 years. They were able to diagnose our old cat with IBS where other vets could never get us a diagnosis. Bixby provided great senior care for her for the rest of her life, always very thorough and honest. We now have a kitten that we are bringing here and I know he's getting great care.

They were so quick and thourough with all the paperwork and very polite with the owners and patients. They are so welcoming to my sister and I. Both of our dogs, Lakhi and Lilo, are always nervous going to the vet, but BIXBY ANIMAL CLINIC made them feel safe and very comfortable. The prices were great and expected of a clean, high-quality clinic that also gives back to the community! They also communicate with you through call, text, and email, if you choose to have all 3 options. They always make it a priority to call my sister, Sopheap Soeun, for any questions regarding the dogs and to follow up on their check up!

I've been with BIG BOX vets for 30 years....until one contributed to the death of one of my beloved babies....and I decided, NEVER AGAIN. Bixby Animal Clinic had such high ratings and I wanted the best care for my fur children. BEST DECISION I EVER MADE! The staff is incredible and truly believe in the health and well being of our furry families. I credit Bixby Animal Clinic with saving the life of one of my babies. I honestly believe if I'd taken him to the former BIG BOX vet, he would have died as the premise for that particular vet seems to be to keep pets just a little on the unwell side so we have to keep coming back - which translates into big bucks. LOVE, LOVE, LOVE BIXBY ANIMAL CLINIC!

There’s a lot to say so I’ll start off with James, every time he comes to get my crazy dogs he’s beyond professional, gentle with my pupper who’s totally wild, always gets him calm, and is super patient and helpful with making the transition into the vet office as smooth as possible. Also he’s funny which helps when I’m nervous from my dogs going crazy haha. So that’s always a nice start to dropping the dogs off and getting them in. Makes me feel comfortable with leaving my dogs here! And right away Dr. A sees them and calls me with a plan, a nice chat, covers everything, he’s super kind hearted when we talk and just like all around a vet you can trust to take care of a loved one in your family. Michelle, Jessica, Noel, the girl who always says her name super fast, all the people at the front office and vet techs have been wonderful as well and very accommodating. Great veterinarians office all around!

I’ve been taking my Dog (Basenji) to Bixby since she was 10 weeks old, so far they have been fantastic (she’s 6 months now). James was very friendly and he handled my baby with care. He has been in the field for over 20 years and knows what he is doing. He also knew what breed my doggie was right off the bat, most people ask what kind of dog she is.

We had the unfortunate situation in our family of having to euthanize our 18 year old chihuahua Ginger. The staff was extremely tactful, understanding and transparent about the whole process. Dr. Tsai was extremely tender in his care and very sympathetic to our feelings. I would recommend Bixby to anyone needing care for their dear pets.
