Alex helped us tremendously with our golden retriever she understood his moods and how to get around them to get the best out of him. The advice and training we received from Alex is still working for us today. Alex cares deeply about each dog that she works with we are lucky to have found her

Alex has been so helpful with our Golden, Rosie. She was aggressive and reactive to other dogs on walks, and we were at our wits end. Alex came in and saved the day. She is well-versed on dog behavior, it's like she knows exactly what Rosie is thinking! Our terror turned into a calm pooch after just a few sessions with Alex. Call Alex for help! You'll love her!

Was cleaning out old papers and there it was a receipt for 590.00 .... 12/12/15....never finished much needed training as contracted and because she had come by 3 times would not refund balance “per the contract we signed”....we didn’t default she quit showing up and just wouldn’t come.....beware about signing contract with her

When one of our dogs bit our toddler, we knew it was time for an expert. In came Alex to save the day. We're still working on it, but Abby has really improved.

I am so lucky to have found Alex to train my dog Gideon. She was referred to me by a friend who had seen much improvement in her dog after sessions with Alex. Alex’s methods have been fast and effective in teaching my dog important skills such as coming when called and leaving food/other items on the ground. Alex truly loves pups of all sizes and has a need repertoire of knowledge when it comes to correcting behaviors. She is on top of scheduling and very accommodating. I wound recommend ignoring the one review blaming her for a schedule mix up and instead look at her amazing skill as a dog trainer and kindness to dog owners.

I have been using Alex for all of our training needs since she helped us adopt our 1st dog from Long Beach Animal Control. She was the trainer and the Adoption Coordinator at the time. Every experience we have had with her has been nothing short of amazing. From helping us save our first dog Hamilton life before being put down, to now helping us with our newest family member Franklin (who has been nothing but a continuous face palm). Franklin started showing aggression towards people and other dogs. We are a very active family with kids so this is something that we are not able to put up with. Alex came in and turned Franklin around. He is now interacting with people and OTHER DOGS!!!!!! With all that Alex has done for us and the countless other clients that I know she has done the same for, if there is such thing as a place to go after we are done on this planet she has paid her dues 10 times over to get in. I whole heartedly recommend her to anyone that wants to better their dogs lives as well as their own (because you will not be in constant fear of your dog doing something bad or possible hurting someone or something). CALL HER!!!!! CALL HER NOW!!!

I have never had such a poor experience with anyone before I met Alex. My husband and I got a referral from our vet after our dog started having aggression issues. This was a very difficult stressful time for us and we wanted to get started right away. From the beginning Alex was difficult to deal schedule but eventually we had two sessions. After those two sessions, she could not figure out exactly what was setting off our dog so we referred us to a vet behaviorist and we put the sessions on hold until we could get more answers. After waiting 3 months for the specialist and then 2 more months for Alex to return from maternity leave we finally had our first real session scheduled. My husband confirmed with Alex a few days before since it was scheduled months ago. He also took off work specifically to work with Alex's limited schedule. About 30 min before the session Alex text him to make sure we were still on. He was unable to answer because he was driving. When he text her less than 15 min after her initial text that we were all ready for her she responded, "Shoot. I'm already on my way to another client. How's next Saturday at 4:30pm." Does that make sense to anyone? If you do not believe this absurdity please see attached photo for proof. How could you be on your way somewhere else when you are supposed to be at my house in 10 minutes and it was confirmed a few days ago? My husband tried to call a few times and she ignored all the calls and offered to reschedule another week out. OBVIOUSLY SHE WAS NEVER PLANNING ON COMING. Unfortunately, our dog had to suffer through months of stress when people came over due to Alex's lack of professionalism and integrity. I can honestly say I have never felt more anger and disappointment towards anyone then I felt towards Alex that day. It was a terrible feeling. Thankfully we never paid for those initial sessions because we were waiting to see what package would be most appropriate. I would advise NOONE waste their time and money on Alex. Thankfully, we have found another wonderful trainer in long beach who is available and knowledgeable and our pup is doing much better.

Alex really helped me with my Chihuahua and my Golden. They were both reactive to other dogs, and went after each other. Alex solved these problems in just a few sessions. She was always on time, and was extremely professional. I've read the one star review on here, and I honestly don't believe we can be talking about the same person. Alex was amazing, and I'd recommend her in a heartbeat.

Thank you, Alex! You saved our dog's life! We were ready to take him to the shelter because he was so aggressive toward people. You came in and provided us with such gentle, positive guidance. We haven't had an incident in a long time. My family and I are so lucky to have found you!
