I can assure you that this organization is a “well oiled machine!!!” Not only do they care for the cats and kittens that come through the doors they also have to deal with difficult and down right mean people that use them as punching bags. I have personal experience and have witnessed it myself. I have seen cats/kittens come in looking like they are literally on deaths door step and a few weeks later they look like nothing ever happened to them and are on their way to becoming healthy happy cats. Every employee and volunteer work their butts off to ensure these cats are well taken care of. They have a wonderful TNR program as well as affordable spay/neuter clinics. I highly recommend this place!!! ????

This so-called disgusting rescue organization lies to get donations. They took in my adult sons cat due to circumstances that I am not about to get into because it is private and personal, but I can assure you that the stories they tell about these cats that they take in are embellished lies. Also, multiple times when this organization has been called to take in abandon kittens, they don’t even return phone calls or emails. They pull the saddest looking cats photos and make up whatever stories they want in attempt to get donations. It is people like them that make others not want to help or donate. My advice is to find a different organization and check them out .

I can't even find the words to truely describe what a blessing this place is... all the animals are happy & loved, the people are kind & so helpful! The cat facility is pleasant & clean. The whole property is so peaceful... I didn't want to leave! God bless FieldHaven❤

They have helped me so much with finding a home for a stray kitty. They even found a person willing to take it!! Tammi, a new volunteer, was tireless in her pursuit to help me. Kitty and I appreciate it very much.

Great place to adopt cats.

I love Fieldhaven! They rescue and help as many cats as humanly possible. I was fortune enough to be able to foster a few little kittens for them. They provided everything that was needed to take care of them in my home. They got all their shots, got spayed and neutered as soon as they weighed enough, then I was able to let them recover in my home. They were such a joy to watch play and care for! Shortly thereafter, Fieldhaven put them on their adoption website. They were adopted a short time later!

I was really impressed with the facility and staff. Everyone was really friendly and helpful. They were tender and caring with all the cats at the facility that day, which was a huge number due to a large number of deals being trapped that weekend. Please inquire with them about volunteering.

My mom started volunteering at FieldHaven before COvID and we have seen nothing but positive, hard-working staff and volunteers do everything they can to help. Even in areas outside Yuba/Sutter and Placer counties, they are doing all they can in these strange times. Their volunteer team fields so many calls every day about ‘cats’! And they do their best to help.

Took my son who is a 3 year old special needs kid there to try and see the cats, there was an older man working there who was very rude to my son and yelled at him to get outside, definitely not accepting of individuals with disabilities.

Good cat rescue and adoption

I couldn't ask for a better way to advise and treat our stray neighborhood male cat late last year. Today, he is a happy and well adjusted family member, a real character to boot. Field Haven took care of all the essentials to get him fixed up by neutering him, medical exam, administer vaccinations, and micro chip. We had to do something because on a regular basis he was fighting with other cats near our home and was starting to look like prize fighter with all the cuts and scratches he sustained in these fights. Once he was treated his tendency to fight other cats stopped, I was expecting this would take a much longer period of time, but in his case the improvement was almost immediate. Not only did FieldHaven take care of all of these necessary services, that did so at a very reasonable cost. Thank you Field Haven personnel, you saved our cat's life and gave us a wonderful addition to our family. To others, please support FieldHaven for the outstanding service they perform in the community.

My friend has had a lot of help with strays in her neighborhood and I think that is just awesome. Wish we had that here..

Amazing place, they help me with my cat , gave me information and tips since I'm a first time cat mom, I'm so grateful for everything they did for us.

I was very impressed with Field Haven. I just adopted a beautiful cat from them. The staff is very kind and the grounds are beautiful. I will highly recommend Field Haven to anyone that is looking to give a precious pet a forever home.

FieldHaven are truly selfless individuals. I contacted them in December because my family member died and left behind 6 cats, and although FieldHaven doesn't do intake, they helped me out with 3 of them. Not only were they incredibly swift (but gentle) when helping me load the 3 up in crates, they also helped me crate the remaining 3 for a vet visit I was taking them to later (and this was impressive! They have cerebellar hypoplasia and previously wouldn't let me approach them). Joy and Audra have been so very helpful and their guidance and care has not gone unnoticed. There are those who you can tell immediately are animal people, and Joy and Audra exude that quality. They handled the kitties like it was second nature. After I finished with the 3 remaining cats and started driving home, I found myself crying uncontrollably over one of the kitties FieldHaven took - I'd known him for almost 5 years and had grown attached to him. I'd thought seriously about taking him with me before, but thought it would be best if he went with FieldHaven. Well, after crying the whole 45 minute drive home, I emailed them to see about taking him and was met with the sweetest response and encouragement and was told to come get him any time! So, I'll be taking sweet boy to my home tomorrow and loving on him for the rest of his life. My family and I are utterly indebted to FieldHaven. They have been such a beacon of light in a very dark time in our lives.

I seriously question the good reviews. She will not call you back. The one star reviews are more to my experience. "She has less cats than other shelters"... hmm. Doesn't answer the phone, is condescending if you do make contact, and has fewer cats.... makes you wonder where your drop off really ended up..

This is the best cat shelter/rescue I have ever come across. The people who run it are amazing and genuinely really good people who care so much for the wellbeing of all kitties. I went through a pretty rough patch, and I cannot thank them enough for what they did for me. I will always support them and tell anyone interested in getting a cat about them! I also love shopping at the Fieldhaven Marketplace, especially since the proceeds go towards helping the cats/kittens!

I love this place! I'm so happy to be a part of my new cat family. I do it for them because cats rule! Every kitty matters & every animal matters!

Lisa Zaletel of Intero in Yuba City came to our neighborhood and took my 4 and 10 year old daughters pet cat, Clarence Thomas to Fieldhaven Feline Rescue in Lincoln to have surgery on a hernia. I have the text messages to prove that she knew with 100% certainty that the cat belonged to me. She did not relay that to Fieldhaven and he was adopted out. They claim she didn't know who's cat it was, that it was a community cat and although they knew full well that there was at least 1 possibly 2 people (the neighbor feeds him too but I got the cat in Aug 2016 from a friend and have proof of that as well) who's cat it belonged to, did not contact me in any way. Do not trust this woman with your pet in any way.

They never EVER call you back. Twice now, this has happened. I have given up trying to get them to assist me. The woman with the aussie accent (I presume its Aussie) is rude, yelled at me because I was so stressed out and sad and needing help. Said she would call me back even though I tried to explain that I was upset (Paradise Fire) and not upset with HER. She never called back. Called again a year or so later. Same experience. Never called back, same woman, same rotten attitude.
