I really can't say enough nice things about this place. Don't look on pet finder. Actually go to the shelter and see the amount of amazing sweet animals they have. I was blown away. The staff is very nice and they genuinely care about the animals. They let me sit in the introductory area for almost an hour just holding the dog we were going to adopt. Brought us treats and toys for him and really let us bond. They take the animals out to play constantly so there were behavior experts there that knew exactly how each dog interacted in different senarios so we got to select the perfect one for us. This is the best shelter I've ever been do. Please go or donate they are awesome!

I wish EVERYONE would adopt an animal and give it playtime , they give LOVE , time , and support to us , so please show kindness and love and adopt .

Completely driven by donations and fundraising. It is a animal shelter until the animal finds a family, so no putting down animals. If you can help out by either volunteering or donating please do. No amount of time or money is to small.

The volunteer staff was very helpful and careful to provide advice which addressed our needs. There is a safe fenced area where you can meet and evaluate an animal that you may potentially adopt.

Very thorough in pairing & protecting the animals with their new adopting family. Once done, the actual adoption takes mere minutws. Always professional & friendly.

They're awesome they're offering to help me Place kittens and get there Farrell mothers fix the kittens are feral they're loving little things and they as long as I bring in a mom with the kittens don't take the kittens they fix the mom I pay to get the mug fix and less kittens on the property Valley Animal Haven is an Oasis in the middle of a desert

Love this place as a second home! Positive energy is jus what everyone needs everyday. I feel appreciated and this is my kinda place to forever stay to make sure all animals are well loved and feel like family.

Safe place for cats and dogs

Pam is a very lovely lady and I got through to her in three rings on a day they were supposed to be closed. She seems very willing to help even though I was over the 7 day grace period due to my kittens condition and the delay in showing symptoms. I am honestly pleasantly surprised because since living in California a lot of businesses are not as accommodating as this place on their best day and they really had no reason to be.

Pam is really sweet and she cares about each and every animal. She wants to make sure that every pet is a fit for your home. Go here! I found Bennie and he's probably the love of my life.

We adopted our dog from this shelter in June of 2020 and they were SOOOO helpful and accommodating (we had to drive there from the coast). They really want the best for all their animals and help to ensure you get paired up with the right animal. We would definitely adopt from them again!

Easily one of the best shelters in the hanford lemoore area. The staff members take care of Thier pets better than the spca! I would highly recommend adopting here. Also they are open Sunday 11 to 5

I adopted my siamese cat Isla from here! The adoption process was so quick and uncomplicated. I felt like I had all the time I wanted to become acquainted with the cats and pick one out that matched my personality. The manager was a text away when I noticed my cat had a cold and she gave me medicine for her.

Shadow Ghost Your review is completely slanderous. . I have been volunteering and coordinating my Fit Fur Pawz Program for a couple of years with Valley Animal Haven. Being in rescue, you would understand that feces in kennels is a non stop war. Keep in mind that Rescues do not get a lot of funding to pay for the extra cleaning of kennels. Your uneducated self may need to be informed that animals are not always on a scheduled pee and poo extravaganza! Sometimes their tummies hurt like ours. There will always be feces in a kennel. You targeting that aspect proves you are on a malicous attack. Secondly, you voice your concerns of abuse for the cats being assaulted with brooms. Here is what I see from my legal training in this field. You make up cruelty and report to google with a fake name,. You have not one ounce of courage to post under your witnessing name. And, where is your police report? Complete slander. I am pretty certain you may be an individual being held to their contract attempting to retaliate. However, I am not that ignorant to put your name out their without 100 percent proof. But believe me, tracking your review is in progress.

Adopted a cat that came from Animal Haven and we bought it through PetSmart. Though, PetSmart wasn't good at keeping her in good health so she was sick, but the people at Animal Haven quickly fixed her up and now she's better than ever! I heard they have volunteer work, and I love animals and was planning on doing some volunteer work myself. It'd be great for my plans to become a vetenary doctor.

Shop don't adopt. I do occasional volunteer work here and my family does extensive volunteer work. Veer friendly staff who remember many of the (often repeat) adopters. Dogs and cats range from as young as 6 weeks to a few years old. Come find your new best friend and their furever home soon!

These people are trying to give these animals a chance but they need more funding and a larger area for the animals to be. They have yard frequent sales in effort to raise money for the establishment, which we love and always make sure to buy something.
