The bathroom was clean and there was a dog to greet me by the doorway

I love taking my dog to this place. The groomers are so nice and very professional. They handle my dog with great care and even give a report on how Bubba my Parson Terrier does with each appointment. He has gotten better with every visit. If you are looking for an amazing place that really has a love for dogs this is the place. I will never take my baby anywhere else.

I am so glad I chose this place! Monica did such a great job on my dog. To be honest I was kind of hesitant to bring my fur baby, based on some of the reviews. In the end I'm glad I brought him. We will be back ????

The staff was very polite and friendly . I had receive bad service at another place so I was very apprehensive but they completely changed my outlook and for sure me and my Lily will be coming back.

I had my husband take my 2 dogs for a grooming one of them is a puppy Pomeranian. (pics below) My husband told them to trim as short as possible. They literally SHAVED !! SHAVED!! not trimmed my poor dog! Luckily he wouldn’t stay still & they weren’t able to cut his face. Like seriously? It's literally fall and my dog will literally have no fur to keep him warm, not that he’s an outdoor dog but he still needs to stay warm period. I understand they were instructed to trim him short but if you’ve been a groomer my guess would be you know dogs. You do not by no means ever do this to Pomeranian especially going into winter. Please be warned with your beautiful fur babies. They don’t know what they are doing!!!

Been using this place for my poodle for years! They definately get the job done but when it comes to little details results may vary.

Expensive but excellent and our dog is picky

I had issues with Petco groomers in lemon grove and I must say the ladies here are fantastic. Easy to make appointments, great haircut/grooming, and my dog isn't stuck there all day (like at petco). I highly recommend Posh Poodle!

My dog went in for grooming and came back with cuts from the grooming. The areas under his legs are the worst. He was itching and looked at the areas and saw several areas they sliced into. He has never ever come back this way from any groomer. I can’t imagine how scared and hurt he felt there. We were charged $65. I don’t even know what more to say.

Update, 5/11/2021 - Maybe this was a one time thing, but we were going on a trip early Saturday morning, so I brought my dog there on Friday, with an appointment. We originally were going to get him groomed, but due to possibly cold weather on our camping trip, I opted to get his FFF trimmed, (Face, Fanny, Feet.) I added genitals. Our dog is no longer a puppy and I understand that he costs a lot more. The problem is I think they gave him a bath and THEN shaved him in those areas. And yes, he was completely shaved around his "fanny" and genital area. I guess this is normal. Since they gave him a bath and then shaved him, there was hair EVERYWHERE in my truck. We must have been breathing it in too. Not exactly the experience we were hoping for, by paying just over $100 to get this done before our trip. For this reason I knocked it down to 4 stars. Ordinarily we don't have so much hair all over the place. This place is extremely busy, but they always try really hard to get us in on the weekend. They are also very efficient and fast. They have a new POS system which access contactless payments. That is always a plus. Our dog is still a puppy and very rambunctious, but they take good care of him. Would definitely recommend, but I suggest you call ahead to make an appointment.

This place is a really well oiled machine. My otherwise mellow dog hates being groomed. Mixed breed, non-shedding so he has hair (not fur). Dannette seems to be a whisperer who very nicely grooms my dog. She gets the job done *without* triggering his pawst traumas. Thank you Posh Poodle!

Our pup he's very aggressive hard to groom posh poodle helped us, his groomer is Dannette I'm very happy with her she's great to him. She makes him look awesome somehow she can handle him with care. I'm always scared to get him groomed. Posh poodle has been very professional. Thank you Bentley Byrd and family.

I recently took my small 10 lb. dog to get groomed, I was highly disappointed in their service, communication, and their approach and the way my dog turned out. I should have gone with my gut feeling and left the place with my dog before he was groomed. They ignored my grooming request, and disregarded my dogs subsequent anxiety in a grooming environment. Upon arrival, I was greeted in a hastily way . I was recommended this place, so I thought I would gave it a try. During our discussion for my dogs grooming, I disagreed with the description of how short the cut should be. My request to keep some hair on my dog was ignored three times; twice in person and once over the phone. When I picked up my dog, he seemed very nervous, shaky, and scared. He had a handkerchief around his neck, I removed the handkerchief and noticed his skin was very pink and hot, he had burns on his neck, bottoms, his ankle, and in between his groin and leg area. My dog was very uncomfortable to the point where he would chew himself till he bleeds. The worst part is that the groomer did not warn me of the side effects that would've happened after my dog's hair was cut extremely short which is below the line . I returned to the Posh Poodle, to complain about my dog's grooming experience. Which then the owner Repeatedly denied what happened to my dog, She then Said " As a pet owner , You should have known these side effects when a dog is stripped of their fur." and she isn't taking No responsibility for what happened to my dog. I highly DO NOT recommend taking your dog to Posh Poodle, no matter how many years they have been in business . Please look at other reviews beforehand. A mistake I wish I could have avoided. As to my sucisipous , my vet did confirm that there was clipper burns and a minor to slight infection from the clipper burn. My vet also did tell me my dog was indeed stressed from the groomers. Unfortunately none of us know what happens behind a groomers close door, but I would have hoped they would care for our dogs the way we do.

I wouldn't take my dog here again. She came home very off she has not been herself in 2 days. And I noticed that she has 2 rashes on the sides of her neck. They did a good job on the cut besides having asked them to not cut much of her beard and they did.
