So I’m one of those people who never leaves reviews, but I had the best customer service all year from a lady named Tony . She was super nice and her energy was everything . I was having a blah day and I just soaked up her energy and the rest of my day was perfect . THANKS TONY AND KEEP UP THE GREAT WORK .

Okay seriously? This was paws down the best retail experience I've ever had. We took my dog Trinity in to get a vaccine today and every single staff member we came in contact with was INCREDIBLE. Like, my husband and I were both blown away by how sweet everyone was. The gal who checked us in and did our pup's intake, the two technicians in back that gave our pup the super quick and easy shot, and both cashiers when we checked out were the BEST! What we thought would be a long and stressful experience turned into a ten minute joyful one! Highly recommend taking your pets here. If you worked tonight, Nov 7th at 5pm, you all deserve a raise!

Worst service waited for like 20mins for help, and when I finally got help worker was rude and literally said under her breathe she got pulled for this , worst petco in san diego, I wish I didn't have to give it a star at all

I purchased a healthy dog vaccine plus package ($99)for my 2 years old dog. Lepto vaccine was optional in the packag but I chose to get it for my dog, so they need me go back after few weeks for a lepto booster. I asked whether I need to pay extra money for the booster, they said no on my first visit. On the second time I go visit (which is to get the booster) they suddenly need me to pay extra $42 for the booster. I feel like I got deceived and scammed, I spend $141 to get my dog vaccine, and which I could actually get them all in a half price lower from the other place. The staff was not knowledgeable and they provide wrong informations, I asked them why I need to pay extra money if the package said included, the just keep repeating the pricing and saying I got cheaper price already. In which, they did not solve my problem. Would NEVER visit petco anymore!

Left without help everyone’s too busy to help someone try’s by to save a young life. Done with this store chain

Matt is a stud. Came in close to closing and the staff was helping me with a newly purchased crate issue. Unsolvable. Matt stepped in and got me swapped out and problem solved fast. Great customer service and really polite. Great reflection of this store. Thanks Matt!

So frustrating!!! Made appointment online to get cat vaccinated...even came in the store day before to get a carrier for animal..of course there out of stock..only the most expensive ones left...spoke to a lady and she varrified my name on list for following day at 10am..So next day go and bring cat...to get vaccinated..And the lady when we were checking in said oh no you are only on a waiting list like tf...total waist of time gas and inconvenience...no one ever said it was a wait list not online appointment scheduled not over the phone not even in person...

It would've been a 10 but I placed the order a couple of hours prior to just showing up and the order still wasn't ready, they gathered the items (which were just shelf items) after I got there and asked for the order.

Lots of beautiful animals including birds, reptiles, guinea pigs plus they have amazing treats.

No mask on cashier and I was forced to be less than 6ft from her to check out. Grooming was acceptable for my dog.
