This place is busy, but you will get your service, you can tell they actually care about the pets that come into the place though due to the influx of people who come here your service might be delayed however that is to be expected when walkins are accepted. Did not really get a chance to talk much with the staff, but from waiting and observing you can see the quality of service. Simply put this place is busy for a reason would recommend

We had a great experience with Dr. Lee and she took care of our pupper very professionally. Unfortunately it does not seem that the front desk staff is ever on the same page as to what the Dr. discussed with us. I called to follow up and the staff member told me I should have only waited up to 14 days to take out her stitches. We were told by Dr. Lee 3 weeks and to follow up after about a week, but I wanted to verify because her antibiotics had been completed. When I tried to explain what the doctor told me, the staff member said that they do not wait 3 weeks for stitches nor do they do follow up calls. The staff member told me to come in to get them taken out. We bring her in two days later for the doctor to turn us away because it had not been 3 weeks since the stitches were put in. I understand the hospital is busy, but I was rushed off the phone while explaining what I was told and also told that I had wrong information.

Everytime I bring my fur baby to the doctor she loves this place. I'd like to say she gives it for paws up ☺️???????? I love it here cause it's clean, covid practices are in effect even with our fur babies. They are gentle with our loves and talk to them and there's have a great way of explaining what is going on. The doctor's are just all around awesome. Love you all at Trop. Animal hospital.

So far I’ve only taken my cat here twice for minor things. Today for example I took him in to get his nails trimmed up since I have a hard time doing it myself. They were pretty busy when I walked in, which was no issue since I didn’t have anything else I needed to be doing at the time. I waited for about 10 minutes before being helped. Despite how busy they were, they were able to take my cat in really quick to trim him up which I was very thankful for. It costs $11.50 for a nail trim which is a fair price in my opinion. However, upon further inspection after I got home I noticed some of his nails weren’t trimmed. They have marks on them like clippers were touching his nails but they’re still long and somewhat sharp. I’m guessing they were just doing it super fast and didn’t get to them all since they had other animals to help that needed it more (understandable completely). I just wish instead of being charged $11.50 for a nail trim I would have been asked to come back later/the next day so I could get my full moneys worth. Overall I would recommended them because the staff is very helpful and friendly.

Literally if you care for your pet do not come here I went to check my dog up twice ran a whole bunch of medication through my poor puppy just for her to have the same problem

I used to come here all the time for my dogs shots and concerns and all was fine. Until I put my dog in the pet hotel. I was gone for about 4 nights, and when I pick him up, he was covered in his own pee. My dog is a big dog and sometimes when he pees, it can get on his underbelly which is normal. But I knew this was not case cause his sides, tail, and chest were covered in pee. They let my dog sit in his pee without cleaning him or properly not cleaning the kennel. As a pet hospital, they should know better as urine can lead to skin infections and is highly unsanitary. I'm truly disgusted with the way they took care of my dog and who know how many others they neglected. I'm never coming back here again. Please reconsider about placing your pet in their hotel service.

First time in Tropicana Animal Hospital and saw Dr Lee, very happy with the visit. She took her time to listen and she was very gentle with my two older doggies! Also, love the fact that they are open 7 days a week! And I was able to just to come in! Thank you Dr. Lee, from Luna and Sunny!

Dr. Gomez is truly the nicest and professional Vetenerian I've ever met. The staff was formidable. Yes, they may be busy but it was worth it. ????

I had a great experience here. We used to go to Banfeild but I like this place much better, I didn’t feel that they wanted to run up my bill and I felt that my dog received thorough care. We will be back!

I am writing this review solely because of the professionalism, thoroughness, and care my dog Lily and I received from Dr. Noto. She is probably the most intelligent and kind veterinarian I have had in a visit to any clinic in the Las Vegas valley. I will request her every time going forward. I almost don’t want to write this review because she is so great at her job and I don’t want to have to wait in that long line if my review is read by other animal lovers- but I happily would if it meant my dog was in her care.

Scammers do not waste your time or money on this place they are not there to help u at all payed 1,000 on testing for my dog and when i was checking out at the front desk the veterinarian called the front office to make sure i was paying my bill for the services I received i can hear the lady in the front talking to her as she said my name i looked at her who does that? very unprofessional worst.

No experience with business. This business donated $5,600 to Dina Titus, who is a career politician. Union owned, and supports taking property rights from land lords, and supported 2 sham impeachments, Democrat before American. Everyone is for pet and puppy safety.

This place sucks there's no professionalism no respect for your time nor do they value it this place has gone downhill since 2014 that it's even worse Since covid there are no appointments they want you to wait 30 minutes to 3 hours for your pet to be seen, their customer service sucks they go through doctors like water I wonder why so your pet rarely sees the same doctor it's just unprofessional I should have known better than to come back since allowing them to do surgery on my pet needless to say my pet is no longer alive do yourself a favor and go somewhere else not worth the trouble. Their parking sucks too.

My vet was Ladeza. Very busy environment. Maybe it’s why she did not seem to have time to answer questions clearly. She did not answer pricing questions correctly. My dog also had the wrong information from the previous visit on her file. 2 stars because she did give diagnoses after a $60 check up cost and $75 ultrasound. I will not be going back.

Bunch of scammers here, be warned. The front lady was rude and lazy as well. They invoiced us 2k for our cats broken tail and hip. In the end to make it short for you guys they didn’t do anything. They just held her there, they didn’t even amputate her tail like they said they would. We had to push to call the doctor and the doctor lowered it down from 2k to 1k. What does it tell you about this place?? Bunch of scammers that try to take advantage of you. Don’t come here even if it’s your last resort. They won’t do anything! Oh btw the cat is fine! She will heal naturally. Place is a joke. I payed 1,050 in total for them not to do anything!!

Super compassionate care when putting my kitty asleep. The wait was about an 1 1/2, however I called that day. Dr. Jones performed the with compassion. If recommend her, for sure.

Absolutely love Dr Johns. I have a rescue pit who is at times unpredictable. Dr Jones sees him every month for an allergy shot. Excellent vet, affordable. However, the no appointment policy often leaves me waiting for 1-2 hours for a 5 minute shot which is extremely frustrating. If Dr Jones wasn’t so awesome I certainly would find a new Vet due to the inconvenience. Five stars for Dr Jones, zero stars for convenience. Can you consider blocking a few hours on the week for routine/reoccurring shot procedures so pets and owners don’t have to wait so long?

Rude af on the phone. Called to get some records asked for 2 weeks ago and was rushed off the phone. Emergency or not you don’t need to be rude. Horrible first impression

Nothing much to say but they RAISE THE PRICES they told me it would be 60 dollars for a check up and later saw a check of more then 200 dollars, DONT COME HERE if you don’t have much money don’t recommend

This hospital is A1 ! Top tier! This team, from the front desk girls to the techs and assistants are incredibly nice and helpful and responsive to the T! The doctors are incredibly attentive, loving, honest and really do care for your pet’s welfare. They treated my cat Nino with such love and me with such respect that I am immensely grateful for their service. Now they are busy! And their prices are very just for the level of care, but with a little patience you’ll get your pet treated by great people and a great team.

Amazing service, I took my chihuahua that was having trouble give labor and they took her right in, very caring staff❤️

They were very helpful with my pet that I took their is $50 for an exam give me work with you on depending if your pet needs anything else done the shots or $11.99 per shot for the fecal exam is $25 but the people are very helpful they do care about your pet make sure they're okay before eating things done and they talk to you about what needs to be done first before they do anything to your pet they love animals here and I will continue going back to them if my pet needs anything done if I have a 2 year old Chihuahua and he was well taken care of when he wasn't feeling too good

They told me my puppy was sick, charged me with $800, told me they had to make surgery good that I went to other vet to se more opinions and they told me he was perfect.????

I have had all three of my dobbies ears cropped here. Not sure if same doctor after many years is doing them I guessing new staff and doctors are taking over. My first one came out amazing , so beautiful only had to post 2 after surgery, last two both of them have a failed ear. I posted for months and months , I know all dogs are different but going back week after week with no concern of how swollen the ears were was a concern. Later to find out both dogs were allegeric to the tape being used , now I m out $1000, and 2 failed crops. Went back after 8 months and was told nothing can be done, almost as if it was my fault. This used to be the go to place for this , not anymore

The hospital opens very early at 6am. There is a little bit of a wait, but that’s typical for any hospital for human or animal. It’s also so much cheaper than most places around town. I’ll definitely be back.

I boarded my dogs here after someone told me they had a good experience. I got there at 630am to drop them off before a flight. I waited 2 1/2 hrs just to be able to drop them off. I left hand written instruction for my dog to get his liver medication. When I picked them up, they didn't look happy to see me and my one dog had vomit on her head. As we were driving away, my boy dog started to vomit. I had left them a bag of food and blankets for them to use and I had to ask for those items back. I got home and found out my dogs medication was still in the bag. I dont know if he ever got his pills. I had asked for them to get a bath and nail trim each and the dr wrote that on their chart. It was never done. I called the office to ask about these issues and they made excuses. I'm still waiting on a call back from the dr to see if my boy got his meds. Will never go here again.
