The best, friendliest, and most professional vet in town!

I had to send my best friend (Romeo my dog) of 14 years home to Jesus and they were so caring and kind, from the staff to the doctor. Gave me time to say see you later to my friend before and after the dose. The only bad thing was the price my wife was told and i paid were very different. Other than that i would recommend this place to anyone. Thank you to everyone there.

We have a pot belly pig, almost a year old. We scheduled a spay with the hospital. I tell you what, these folks are exceptional. Great care all the way around. You'd be silly not to take your pet to these knowledgeable and kind animal specialists. We drove from Arizona! Super kind and respectful A+++

Edit to add: We recently used them again to put down our 11 year old husky mix. Almost 2 years after doing it with our boy. The vet was just as respectful and compassionate. She was born to do it. So sweet and caring! Showing our Bella love!!! So thankful for this service!! Original review: Although this hospital is not our regular vet, I did use their services when we did an at home euthanasia. I researched and found the best reviews with them. My American bulldog mix was 15 years old and his time was up unfortunately. A vet and a tech came to the house. They were so nice through it all, and so so compassionate. I truly felt like they cared. We let our dog lay on his bed so he was comfortable. They let us take our time and did it when we were ready. When we were done saying goodbye they came and wrapped him up and took him on a stretcher. This was my first time doing the euthanasia at home, and I will never do it any other way. I am so thankful for the two ladies that came. I really can’t say enough about how sweet they both were!

Very professional and friendly staff, was able to actually get an appointment within 4 days of calling. They took time to listen to our concerns regarding our dog. Went out of there way to research the dog food our dog eats. We had to schedule for a ultrasound and usually it's a long wait but they were able to get us an appointment in record time. They care deeply about the animals and I am so glad I called them. I highly recommend Sunset Eastern Animal Hospital.

This place has been my vet, off and on, since I first got a pet after moving here in 2003. I say off and on because I don't actually live anywhere near it. I started using this vet because I worked nearby. I don't anymore, and haven't for quite awhile. Periodically I have tried other vets. I always come back to this one. They are compassionate, and, mostly, mindful of people's financial limitations. So now I travel to take my pets here, and I don't mind. They only get 4 stars because there is this one front desk person who just rubs me the wrong way every time I talk to them.

Been using this vet for many years. I feel the front staff and the doctors are all very caring. They are also considerate and kind because when I'm at the vet it's always serious. I feel listened to, not rushed and that I get top notch care.

The level of compassion and care are outstanding. I trust their staff and always feel so much better about my concerns after each visit.

Great staff. I forgot to get the doctors name but you know who you are. I am the son of the guy who brought 10 puppies in for thier shots. Place was fast, clean, friendly, and very tolerate. Thank you for putting up with us.

Had to put my 17 year old French bulldog dog down he just was to sick. DR Kronbetter and Andrea arrived on time and we’re very pleasant. They greeted Sammy and talked to him and pettted him. I chose to do it at home to make it as comfortable as possible for him. I highly recommend doing it at home as my dog was so nervous going to the vet. I thank them for there professionalism and compassion. My Sammy drifted of to a peaceful sleep.

They've always done so well with all of our animals, they even helped us with end of life for two of the oldest ones we've had ever. Great people skills in the animals always seem happy when we pick them up ????????????

No treats tho, I do not like to get my butt touched..they squeeze :( I always am worried I'll never see my owners again, but lady always takes me back. For that. She good lady.

After many sleepless nights, we finally came to the realization that it was time to put down our 15 year old German Shepherd. After some research, we called and scheduled an appointment with Sunset Eastern Animal Hospital to do a home visit. The two females (I was too upset to remember their names) arrived right on time. They explained the process to me and gave Minion and I as much time as we needed. I called them in and they quickly and painlessly administered an injection. After he fell asleep for the last time they gave me more time to say goodbye and gently removed him from our home. In the following weeks we received a condolences card with a poem and a plaque with a tuft of fur. They made one of the worst experiences of my life as bearable as it could have been. Their professionalism, kindness and patience were all more than I could have expected and I am so appreciative.

I took my Shih-tzu that was screaming in pain in an emergency situation. They tended to him immediately . The response was great, the meds prescribed were great. After administering all medications as prescribed my little guy was happy, healthy, and back to his playful self. I highly recommend Sunset Eastern Animal Hospital. I must note that I had taken previously taken my "boy" to another vet for the same condition. And prescribed 3 different medications for the same condition over a period of six weeks and nothing helped. It was like they were testing what would work on him... So glad that I went to Sunset Eastern Animal hospital after that.

I had a 10am appointment for my senior dog due to an eye infection. Because of covid they now want all patients to wait in their vehicles until they come out to get your pet. I was the only one at the parking lot when I arrived, I called at around 9:57 to notify them that I've been waiting in the parking lot and was told they'd be out soon. I saw a worker coming out thinking that it's my turn but instead the lady skip my car and dealt with the other car that just pulled in as she walked out. And I thought ok whatever. 15 mins go by, I'm still waiting in my car it is now 10:13am and a truck pulls into the park lot, the same worker comes out and skips my car again and goes to the truck. This was very frustrating because I was supposed to go to work in a couple hours and drove from the other side of town and didn't have much time left and so I just left. Terrible first impression and I will probably never consider this place......

I liked the Flamingo Animal Hospital because they were very nice. My one complaint is they put my cat through more tests & medicine that weren't necessary. The Vet had to know my cat would not survive no matter what. Force feeding is not a way to go.
