On Aug 15th, 2021, I adopted Violet from LVDDR. She is the dog I never knew, how much I needed in my life. After losing 5 of my dogs this year (4 dachshunds and a Doberman), and when I was ready, Brenda introduced me to this little spit fire. It was love at first sight! Brenda made the whole adoption very easy, she is professional, kind and answered all of my questions. Thank you for allowing me to give Violet her forever home! She is perfect in every way possible!

I adopted a puppy from her in 2008. Shortly after obtaining him; he began to display severe anxiety, circling, and separation issues. He ripped out his teeth on a crate at just 6 months old, trying to escape the crate. I switched to plastic crates, he destroyed probably a dozen of them over his lifetime. I contacted her very shortly after adoption and asked her to take him back. She told me “too bad”. She offered me zero help or advice other than to have him euthanized. I am a veterinary technician and I refused to do that. I tried medications, professional trainers, diet change, extra exercise, not using a crate (he destroyed my house). But to no avail. The entire time I kept asking for help and she refused to do so. I even asked her if she could see if his litter mate who was adopted by her friend was having issues, and she refused to ask her. Bottom line: for a rescue that checks references, does a home check, and acts like they care; they provide no follow up help and refuse to take the dogs back. They don’t care where they end up. Hate to say this about a rescue but it’s true with her. Brenda: if you’re reading this.. thanks for the “help” with Rowdy. I never euthanized him as you suggested, and instead held onto him for 8 years of extremely difficult ownership. He’s since passed away, but you did nothing for him but take him from a breeder and then collect a check.

Brenda is an Angel !!! I found myself in an emergency during pandemic, with three dogs that needed immediate placement ... she was resourceful, kind , flexible, patient patient and understanding... after days of organizing the dogs ended up close to where they came from INstead ... but Brenda ... so very understanding - still kind and a pleasure to work with. I’d trust her again if needed. Thank you ????????????????????????

Adopted "Circles" from here many years ago. Was the best thing we ever did. Process was simple.

That "Pat'' person is unprofessional and very rude! Will be the cause of Dobermanns NOT getting the forever home they deserve.
