I’ve been bringing my fur babies here for over five years! Dr. Tran is amazing, she is genuine and Empathetic. Dr. Hempel is also great, he and Dr. Tran recently saved our family’s new puppy’s life. He’s a 7 month Labrador retriever and ate a “Indestructible” foot long yes a foot long if not a little longer Kong toy. Dr. Tran and Dr Hempel we’re so thorough and professional they made sure they got every piece of that toy that they reconstructed it to ensure no piece was left in our baby. This is only one out of countless visit to their hospital. The staff is great just had one bad Encounter with a front clerk just know if you happen to run into that situation with that individual just ask for Noel she’s the greatest and don’t allow that one bad seed to create weeds around such a beautiful hospital with two great Doctors especially Dr.Tran.

Kind and professional, from the technicians at reception to Dr. Tran—a lovely experience for my Dobie and Chihuahua. Search no further ✨ I live in Murrieta, but the extra 10 minute drive is just fine. Thank you MSAH.

I've been taking my three cats to Mountainview for several years until today. The receptionist didn't correctly schedule an appointment for one of my cats that has an eye infection. I called yesterday and they said the only appointment available was 3 p.m. today so I called around to possibly book a same day appointment elsewhere. I wasn't able to get one so I called Mountainview back and told the same receptionist I spoke to earlier that I would take the 3 p.m. appointment she'd offered earlier. She said okay and hung up. This morning Mountainview called me to remind me of my appointment for 10 a.m. tomorrow! I told them that appointment time and day were incorrect and recounted my conversations with the receptionist the day before. They put me on hold, came back and said they couldn't see my cat today. Naturally, I'm upset that they made this mistake and aren't apologizing or trying to squeeze my cat into today's schedule. They expect him to suffer with an eye infection for another day and refused my request to at least let me pick up eye drops for him. And then Mountainview told me to "GO FIND ANOTHER VET." So, that's what I did!!! I called the Doctor's Pet Clinic in Murrieta and arranged to drop my cat off to be treated this afternoon. Their receptionist was appalled by the way I was treated at Mountainview and more caring overall. I used to go to this clinic when I lived in Murrieta and only switched vets when I moved to Lake Elsinore. I called Mountainview back and told them that I took their advice and found another vet. I also said to cancel my cat's upcoming appointment in February for his three-month lab tests and annual exam. I will be buying his expensive precription food elsewhere as well every month. I told them to send records for all three of my cats to my new vet. So, everyone should take Mountain's advice, too, and "GO FIND ANOTHER VET" because they don't care about your pet's suffering, your inconvience, your patronage or their mistakes! Oh, and I won't miss Mountainview's irritating Celtic sounding music that they play when they put you on hold...

new staff knows nothing about long term patients. refuses to write down info when asked instead insists that client listen even though client repeatedly asked her not to speak and to write it down. client had to yell and vet tech had to step in. too expensive. extremely rude customer service if i couod give a zero i would. amanda, keri and debbie are the worst

We have moved quite a bit over the last 3y,resulting in frequent vet changes. This place is 5m from our home so we figured why not try it. To my surprise not only are they over the top accommodating, they are well priced and EXTREMELY thorough! We have 2 dogs that need monthly visits due to allergies and I am very happy with the Dr plan and bedside manner. The staff is inviting and knowledgeable. We are grateful!

Just moved to area and our doggo developed a swollen and painful eye on the day before we were leaving for camping and of course on a weekend! So we started looking for new vet and someone that could squeeze us in on a Saturday. We were Recommended this vet by d-in-law. Couldn't be happier. Dr Erin examined Sasha and found thorn in eye, ulcerated cornea and treated it along with prescribed med and orders for return check. Loved all the techs and Dr Erin! We will definitely come back! (Oh and they quoted us on everything before treatment and we found them very reasonable.)

Dr Hempel did surgery on my puppy of six months old for a cherry eye which failed but he was very ethical and fair and knowledgeable sometimes this happens as to No fault to the doctor. Highly recommend Dr Hempel, very nice doctor and very knowledgeable.

I have an appointment to take my puppy in Ed have a procedure done. I waited in my car from 830 until 9 o’clock and the procedure was supposed start at 8:45. My puppy had not eaten all night because they told him to fast. I called and checked in twice. Only to be told by rude person answering the phone, that it was first come first her sir and they get to him when they could. So I asked a question, why do we make appointments if it’s first come first serve? She says it’s just you know first come first serve in our technicians are very busy. As I’ve said here technicians have been out and about at several cars and never once stopped. Clearly, I’m shopping for a new vet. I’ve moved her only seven months ago. And I see how this is going to be I prefer going to Murrieta. Even the quQuote for his procedure is three times for it I was quoted. But I’m here now and I’m gonna get it done. I’ll never do it here again

Poor planning. Showed up on time for appointment, waited for almost half an hour and with 4 other customers in front of me, I was told that the waiting time can be over an hour. When asked if I could reschedule, they told me I could but have to pay $56.00 upfront again. So that would have been $ 112.00 for their bad planning. Rip-off and bad customer service. Will block the initial 56.00 on the credit card and will never go there again. So front desk is not reliable and not professional. I believe from other reviews that the service and treatment is great and the doctors are awesome; but we will never know, will we?

Everyone I come in contact with are kind and caring towards my dog. And I don't think their is a veterinarian in the area with more knowledge and experience than Dr. Hempel. I highly recommend Mountain View Small Animal Hospital.

We have used Mountainview Doctors and staff since moving to the area eight years ago. Doctors Hempel, Tran and the entire team have taken excellent care of our dogs, literally saving their lives on more than one occasion. They are professional, knowledgeable and treat us and our dogs like family. They sincerely care

POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE. Waiting 1.5 hrs when you have a scheduled appointment is ridiculous!! Plus, the staff gives you a cold shoulder and is rude at the time of checkout. No communication that they are running late or need to reschedule. My dog was in the office for 15 minutes for a 2 minute procedure. Poor time management. Spoke to Debbie who was the "person in charge" at the time and was told they didn't have a solution to the scheduling issue because of covid. Facility needs to STOP OVER BOOKING. They do not respect your time. Our other veterinarian facilities and staff are way better and efficient even during covid.

Love this place because they treat your dogs as their own. You can tell they love their job. From the front office staff, office mgr, to the techs, and the doctors I know my furbabies will get the best care.
