This is an awesome place to take your fur babies for excellent care! Everyone is knowledgeable, professional and above all, kind and compassionate. They provide timely appointments and do not rush your pets through any processes! My 11 year old Wheaten is a little grumpy when at the vet office and the staff is so funny and sweet with him! Best vet experience we’ve ever had! Kindest office staff. Super experienced and made us and our puppy feel at home. Dr Echolds answered our questions before we even asked! Never taking our puppy anywhere else!

Our dogs have been patients at Rancho Niguel Animal Hospital for years. Our experience with the RNAH team throughout these years has been nothing short of stellar. From scheduling and vet tech assistance to receiving excellent care from Dr. Echolds and Dr. Zamora, RNAH has proven to be our pets' trusted veterinary caregivers. I recently rescued 2 kittens, brother (Max)and sister (Maya). I took them to Rancho Niguel Animal Hospital for their first visit to the vets. I love the staff!! They are so helpful and loving with my kittens. Now I get their nails clipped monthly and I get comments about how cute they are and how much they have grown. They feel like family

I moved to So. OC 5 years ago and wanted a Veterinarian closer to my new home. I was referred to Dr. Echolds by a client of mine and I have been very happy with his care of my senior cat. Everyone at Rancho Niguel AH is warm, helpful and compassionate. These are our furry family members and everyone at this practice treats our furry family with love and kindness. Dr. Echolds is a very knowledgeable and friendly vet. After trying numerous vets throughout Mission Viejo and Ladera Ranch, he is the only one we feel comfortable taking our dogs to and recommending to friends and family!

We rescued an 8 week old puppy and had a ton of questions for Dr. Echols. The entire staff loved on our little guy and Dr Echols was such a pleasure. He resolved all of my concerns, took great care of my pup and I really enjoyed our visit with him. I look forward to a long relationship!

We have an older Golden Retriever and were not totally satisfied with our vet. Friends recommended we go and see Dr. Ecchols. The entire staff were so nice, organized and helpful. The doctor was professional and yet realistic...our dog loved him and now we have a new vet! Thank you!!!!

Dr. Echolds and his staff are truly incredible. We adopted our cat about 4 months ago and was having a lot of issues. Our old vet was unresponsive and unhelpful in her diagnosis. We then reaches out to Rancho Niguel Animal Hospital and I am so glad we did. Due to COVID, we were unable to go into the vet during the physical. However, Dr. Echolds spent over 30 minutes on the phone with me discussing what was going on with my cat and all the different directions we could take. I could tell that him and his staff truly care about my cat and I felt she was safe with them. We are now in the process of having our other cat be transferred over to them because of how incredible they are. Not only is Dr. Echolds amazing, but the entire staff was warm and empathetic towards the situation. I am so happy and relieved that we came here. Thank you!!

I have seen Dr. Echolds name mentioned in many online groups. I decided to give Rancho Niguel Animal Hospital a try. I have a senior dog who needed some help. I wasn’t able to talk to Dr. Pat face to face (thanks covid 19), but he called me while he was examining her. He was sooooooo incredibly warm and explained everything so thoroughly. He spent over 30 minutes on the phone with me. We decided on a treatment plan - and he made me feel very confident that was the best course of action. If you are looking for a vet, look no further. He is amazing and the staff was equally as awesome! Am so glad that I have found my FOREVER vet.

They were incredible with my puppy Abby who had colitis. In the middle of a covid surge many vets are not open or won't take new patients. Dr. Echolds spoke with me for literally 15 minutes and it was never rushed, all my concerns were addressed. I was so impressed. I went based on recommendations of 2 friends and they were absolutely right. I am so excited for Abby to have a new vet

Dr Pat!!! I love this place. I always feel so confident in the advice I receive, and I know that he genuinely wants the best for my pets and isnt trying to upcharge me. He takes the time to explain everything he is talking about and takes you through different treatment options to find what would work best for you and your budget. I recently moved and tried a vet closer to my house and realized that there isn't anyone better than Dr. Pat! If you are looking for someone to help take care of your babies this is the place.

We love Rancho Niguel Animal Hospital! They are hands down the best in town. They are caring, kind, thorough, and very helpful. They go out of their way to calm new pet owners fears, and answer all your questions. Dr. Echolds gets down to your pets level, not afraid to roll on the floor with them!! His staff is amazing and is wonderful with your pet. They truly enjoy their job!! I wouldn’t take my fur babies anywhere else!!!!

I took my cat there and the technicians and front office staff were so amazing. They were nice and responsive. They were gentle with my cat, who can be difficult at times. The doctors there are so knowledgeable and personable. I would highly recommend them.

Love Dr. Pat , has been patient with my elderly cat George! We thought we were going to lose him, and he has made a miraculous recovery!

We had an emergency with our dog stepping on a bee which caused walking on 3 legs and throwing up. Called RNAH and they were able to squeeze us in immediately even though booked up. Dr Echolds and team found the stinger, gave the necessary medicines and watched my dog for an additional hour for side effects. Awesome caring doctor and staff. Dr. Echolds has been our vet for 4 years now and have been terrific on every visit.

Wow! What a great place. Dr. Patrick Echolds is a kind and caring Vet. He offers suggestions, but lets you decide what you would like to do. He and his assistant were sweet and kind to my cat and my cat responded by being calm during the visit. Dr. Pat and his assistant are the nicest vets I have ever worked with.

Dr. Echolds is a superb vet. We met him many years ago when we had our second shelter pooch, Jenna. When she passed, we got Turko, another rescue from the shelter where I volunteer; Pet Project Foundation in San Clemente. Pat's continued care and deep interest in Turko's well-being has been a blessing. Each time we visited the office, his staff greeted us like we were old friends. Finding a good vet is as important as finding a good family doctor. After all, who is the most important member of the household? Come rain or shine, its Turko. Thank you Pat.

Five stars for RNAH and their staff! After reading many great reviews about Dr. Echols we decided to switch vets for our 10 1/2 year old Vizsla. Last week we had her teeth cleaned and 6 extractions. We were very worried parents but the staff was very professional and put us at ease. They even sent me photos of the teeth prior to extracting. I loved that Dr. Echols came in the exam room and sat down on the ground, loving on our dog, as he was examining her. Such compassion. ❤️ We highly recommend Rancho Niguel Animal Hospital.

Nothing less than excellent!!! Very kind and compassionate. Extremely helpful. I am a Nurse Practitioner and have high expectations from my Vet. My dog has received outstanding care from emergency surgery to every day routine care. I am the person who takes on the rescue dogs with medical issues and it is very important that I have a skilled and accessible vet. They care !!!
