Clickstart Dog Training Academy's trainers are fantastic! It's clear that they know what they're doing. They are well-trained, and it shows in the classroom. They communicate in a way that dog handlers can understand. This is especially important when the handlers are trying to concentrate on the dog, the command, and other distractions at the same time! I will definitely be a repeat client!

I have learned so much from Cassie! She is simply amazing. She worked with me and my two dogs. A people-phobic puppy & 6-year old 84 lb. excitable dog with really bad leash habits. My goal through training was to be able to break old habits and have uneventful walks. Cassie’s knowlege and expertise has helped considerably. I highly recommend getting a package of lessons because there is a lot of information to process and getting confirmation that you are doing it correctly is the most important lesson of all.

Cassie and Roma are such good trainers. They are smart, friendly and patient. Clickstart is a method that works for our dogs, and us!

I came across Clickstart in early February because our then 6-7 month old German Shepherd mix puppy was starting to show some reactive behavior. We first enrolled in Clickstart’s 6 week Reactive Rover program and followed it up with 3 private sessions with Cassie. We cannot stress enough how grateful we are to Cassie and Olivia. They are both so knowledgeable, supportive, and patient. With their help, our now 1 year old puppy is able to tolerate being around people. She’s stopped barking at the sound of our neighbors outside, people walking by on our walks, and is even letting people pet her at the dog park! In our last private class with Cassie, our dog even finished by being super affectionate with Cassie! We cannot recommend them enough!

Highly recommend Clickstart Dog Training Academy. We purchased a training package for our new Labrador puppy, and her trainer Roma was so fantastic! Our puppy thrived and grew with each session, blossoming into a very well behaved and obedient toddler. Roma will always be in Ruby's life, whether it be for training reinforcements that might be needed down the road, or even for boarding and training when we travel. Ruby just loves Roma, and even though we finished our training package, Ruby still runs out in the backyard straight to the place where Roma would place her bucket of toys and training tools looking for her every day. Our trainer Olivia listened to our goals and taught us great exercises to work on our dog's leash reactivity and help him learn to settle on his mat in public. It was incredible to see how much more enjoyable our walks and outings became when he wasn't barking and lunging at every dog that walked by. Olivia also taught us some fun tricks which has mentally enriched our dog's life and strengthened his bond with us. Our only regret is not calling Clickstart sooner!

Essie and I just completed our Trick dog, online zoom course. Cassie and Olivia were excellent instructors, providing positive feedback during our weekly zoom get together. I highly recommend this course, the tricks we learned can expand into everyday useful behaviours, enabling our dogs to be more calmer at a home, or out and about.

The trainers were interested, responsive, knowledgeable. They provided a lot of varied content, and readily addressed a wide range of concerns that were presented.

My labradoodle, Koda and I had a great experience working with Cassie and Olivia at Clickstart. I had one private session to work on some reactive behaviors. Koda began improving but we decided to take their reactive rover course to continue to work on calming behaviors. I am so glad we did. We know can walk comfortably around bikes and people with tools under both our belts for how to manage these behaviors. I would definitely recommend and seek this business again should we need more help!

I am very grateful for the sensitive but clear help that I received from Roma. My puppy was having major potty training issues and it affected other aspects of her behavior as well. We were not sure what to do about training and socialization when COVID-19 stay at home started just after our new puppy arrived. Fortunately, we had planned to do our training with click-start before the quarantine and that they were extremely proactive in getting online training courses up and running quickly. We were able to take advantage of their amazing online resources and do our classes over ZOOM. In addition, they organized "puppy socialization hours" where they picked up our dog and took her for a supervised play time with other dogs which we could watch live streamed. We could not be happier with the service, professionalism and expertise of these trainers.

I started following Clickstart Dog Training Academy on Instagram when I was only thinking about getting a new dog. As soon as I knew we were bringing him home I signed him up for their puppy class. We absolutely loved our experience there, have had Cassie and Olivia at our house to train, enjoy our pack walks, and are continuing education with them for our now adolescent dog. You can tell they love and respect each dog they work with as unique and special. Not only that, they are happy to answer quick questions we have outside of class and training sessions. I recently completed Cassie and Olivia's online "Perfect Puppy Priorities" course with my 3 month old rescue Chihuahua Terrier (Pixel). I was nervous about socializing and training Pixel during social distancing but Clickstart gave me all the tools I needed. The online course is super comprehensive and organized with slide presentations, video examples, time to practice training exercises on camera while Cassie and Olivia give direction, etc. After the class, you are able to go back and watch the class recording, print out detailed PDF instructions, and access their online self paced course. I also signed up for two 1 hour private schooling sessions where Cassie took Pixel to meet other puppies as well as work on our course training. I am so thankful that I was able to socialize my pup during her crucial 8-12 week window while maintaining safe social distancing. Thanks to Cassie and Olivia, I have a happy, friendly, potty trained, crate trained, and basic command trained puppy! I am going to be signing up for their next level canine vocabulary/obedience course :)

Cassie and Olivia are amazing! I began this class with an incredibly aggressive dog who jumped on children and the elderly, has drawn blood with bites, and would bark at all hours of the day. Taking him anywhere was incredibly stressful. Clickstart is great! Cassie & Olivia are so knowledgeable and patient. We took the Perfect Puppy Priorities online course and it has been so helpful! Being a new puppy mom, I didn’t realize how important the things like teaching my puppy how to feel comfortable when being handled by vets, groomers, etc. or slowly introducing her to our everyday objects like hair dryers and the bathtub were. They also provided so many ideas to train and stimulate my pup’s brain to learn. We’re still practicing everything we learned in our puppy course (practice makes permanent), but we’re now getting ready to take the next course. So excited to help my fur baby become a model pup!

I throughly enjoyed taking the online puppy class and tricks class with Clickstart. Even as a professional dog trainer I learned new things and it was a great push/refresher to encourage me to train with my own dogs more frequently.
