Banfield Pet Hospital Laguna Hills, California

I took my dog in since he had worms, showed a sample and pictures of the worms but they gave me the wrong deworming twice which not only charmed me twice for deworming but also gave me something my dog didn’t need and now he still has worms since 3 weeks. So so dissapointed with Banfield. I have taken my pets to Banfield since 6 years and now all they do is sell you different things when your dog doesn’t even need them. Absolutely ridiculous

Dr. BELTRAN was caring, thorough, and efficient. Didn't like US not being able to have face to face discussions with Vet, but apparently this is their Covid protocol to protect their staff. I recommend them. Had a previous dog that also went to Banfield.

I went to this facility during Covid-19. Their procedures are good, but my dog was a little unruly because I wasn't there with him.

Such loving and caring professionals at this location. We took our kitty here for years and they showed such compassion when it was time to lay her to rest. We will bring our next fur baby here when we are ready.

I love the staff here. Seraphin helped me out and was an absolute delight.

We ran out of perscription dog food, and working with my vet at home, they were able to help. Expect a wait; we experienced s significant level of confusion, but were able to get what we needed.

Place deserves a 0 star review. Staff in incapable incompetent with everything they do. Tried doing rabies shot by cat was moving his leg so they had to keep restabbing him after saying "don't move your leg" like he understands... Had no numbing agents to do microchips and owners aren't allowed to hold the cat to keep the calm to allow them to give a shot since they are incapable. Took 2 cats to the Banfield on Crown Valley Parkway in Laguna Niquel and everything went FLAWLESSLY. Much nicer, much more competent. Put on a drop of cream to numb the area and were able to administer the shot and microchip within minutes. And one of them is even a feral cat I recently took in who hater people... but had 0 issues what soever. Save your money. Go to a different locations. The company name may be the same but they "don't do things the same" however that makes sense.

Received recommendations for my dog's care that was solely about Banfield making money, not what was in the best interest of my pet and my family.

ZERO STARS. Called with a concern about my dogs who have anxiety and are prone to bladder infections (with regard to waiting in a kennel for several hours for their appointment). Jeannine thought she had placed me on hold -- except SHE DIDN'T PLACE ME ON HOLD -- I could hear everything she was saying (to a vet tech named Kim). Proceeded to insult me, use horrible profanity and language and called me a "f****** tool" -- all because I was concerned about my dog? I was nothing but nice to her too... completely shocking! This shows a complete lack of empathy or caring for my animals and their well-being. Management said they were taking it really seriously but did nothing, I called today 5 days later and Jeannine still works there. This person is supposed to care about animals and be an advocate for my dog and treat her sweet and care about our concerns... disgusting person, no business working with animals and Banfield SHAME ON YOU for not taking action when an employee treats clients that way. Your on-site management (Denise) did nothing about this and it's disgusting. California is an At-Will state, this employee should have been cut a last check and sent on her way.
