While my time there was short, The BlueBell Foundation is the Most Amazing Place for Elderly kitties to come to live out the rest of their days! I can attest, as a former cat caretaker, that the cats in BlueBell's care get the Best Vet Care, and have so Much Love-Not Only from the Caretakers but, also from the many Volunteers! Those cats want for Nothing and have the Best View in Laguna Canyon! Missing all the Furbabies so Much!

Blue Bell provides a great home to ageing cats whose owners can no longer take care of them.

I reached out to Blue Bell because I have an elder male cat who has become impossible to live with. He has dementia when he's disoriented, he starts howling at the top of his lungs. It makes living together more than difficult. I began searching everywhere for a place where he could receive more attention than I can give him, and an environment where he could enjoy the rest of his days. I was delighted to speak with the caring owner of Blue Bell. She took time from her day to educate me in detail over the phone about: what's going on with my cat, what options are appropriate for him and what are not, and she even used an amazing metaphor to help explain how elderly cats progress and how they adjust to major change. Blue Bell is professional, responsive, and caring.

Had a great tour with Susan at the Blue Bell Foundation for Cats. As a local realtor, we've always made donations to the Foundation from our fundraiser, the Pet Parade & Chili Cookoff, but I'd never actually been to visit. It was amazing hearing the full story and how it started. These are all elderly and orphaned cats where their owners have passed away or have been moved to a long-term care facility. I think the youngest cat was 12 and the oldest was turning 21 this week! Since they are all old,, they too have medical problems and require medical care, so their expenses are quite high. It was an amazing visit and being the animal lover that I am, I'm hoping to volunteer some of my own time to help out.

Years ago when I was a Nanny for a little girl we'd heard of a "Cat Sanctuary" called Blue Bell. Being big animal lovers and cat parents we just had to see this place. Feel the car with the nations and off we went to blue belt. We fell in love with Charlie right off the bat (I think that was his name), I just remember he was big and fluffy, dark and long gray fur and totally blind.... most importantly thanks to the Blue bell foundation for cats Charlie had a home till the day he passed away.
